    Turkey Club
    Misty D.

I came here for brunch on a weekend with a group of friends and this place did not disappoint. I've been looking for a Halal place that does cold cuts for like the longest. I got the turkey club sandwich , which included bacon and I loved how crispy the bacon turned out. One of the best classic sandwiches I've had in a while. I will definitely come back to explore the other options. I also got the sweet mornin pancakes, which had just the right amount of sweetness to it, and complemented my sandwich. Service was very good and quick. I loved how they were able to accommodate my group in the space beneath the cafe. Since we were the only ones there for that morning, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves . The place had a bathroom and we were allowed to use the space for prayer as well. The manager was very friendly.

Was in the area looking for a quick bfast bite and somewhere to sit down to do some work. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a pumpernickel everything bagel. The service was great, the worker at the counter was very helpful and my sammie was ready in about 5 minutes. It tasted good! Nicely toasted with crispy bacon and warm eggs. They sell a bunch of sammies or you have the option of creating your own. Of note, there was no inside or outside seating when I went so unfortunately couldn't stay to work. Decorated very nicely inside!

I found Flowers Cafe through Ritual (another app) and ordered the "Light My Fire" sandwich for pick-up. The food was ready when it said it would be, the employee on duty was friendly when I came to pick it up, and I got to eat it while it was still hot in the cafe's outdoor dining structure, which is decked out in faux greenery to such an extent that there were some gnats in there, confused that the grass wasn't real. Haha. The shop is cozy (read: very small), but the outdoor area has just the right amount of space, in my opinion. I liked Flowers' brightness on an overcast day. The star ingredient of the sandwich was undoubtedly the toasted French bread, but the chicken, mozzarella, peppers, etc., weren't bad either; overall, the Buffalo chicken sandwich was definitely pleasant!, though not "life-changing." I would stop by again if passing through the area!

I really like flowers cafe! I ordered Turky sandwich and I love it a lot because the ingredients are fresh and quality! The bread is very soft like a cloud melt in your month. The hot matcha is creamy and not too sweet. There is a cute outdoor patio for you to enjoy the sun while you are eating too'! I an hoping to go back soon to try other items. I highly recommend.

Cute neighbourhood spot - popped in for a veggie sandwich and they stacked it well. Bread was soft and tasty, toppings were great. The prices seem pretty reasonable too; I would come back for a lunchtime sandwich.

I ordered from DoorDash this morning and the order had so many issues. I ordered an iced latte with caramel, almond milk, double espresso.. but instead got a hot coffee!! Plain! I ordered an omelette with toast (buttered with jam). Toast had no butter and jam. I ordered banana pancakes (got regular pancakes)! Smoothie was meh and not worth the price either. I'm really upset and DoorDash only refunded me $5 for the trouble.

Enjoyed the service and the stuff. The shop was very cute and had music playing. I really loved their ice latte I got it with lavender and vanilla. Perfectly creamy. Also got their sandwich called the experience. It was grilled chicken, cheese, roasted pepper and pesto. Great flavor and bread was very soft. Wish there was better filling ratio it felt lacking in that way.

When you just need a really great sandwich, or an awesome breakfast, then look no further than Flowers Cafe. Great and creative combinations plus you can select from a wide range of great breads and rolls. Wanted the bread toasted, no problem. Don't like their combinations, no problem. You can just build your own or do something very simple. Whatever you do, however you do it you be certain that it will be made fresh with quality ingredients and will taste delicious. Delivery was quick on Caviar.

Iced Matcha ($5) -with half and half It was so yummy and refreshing! Instagram: @jj.chowtime

My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
