My husband and I came here this evening for some ice cream and the service was SO NICE that I knew I had to leave a Yelp review. Whoever was working around 4:30-5 was so sweet and kind to us, I'm sad I didn't ask for her name to give her the proper shoutout! All the ladies were sweet, but the customer service of the woman in front with the dark hair stood out tremendously! Such a warm and welcoming energy. We just moved to the area and will definitely be visiting again.
Austin was amazing!!! he was really sweet! walked in and greeted with a warm welcome!!! i got the iced creme brule w boba and it was really good! my friend got the cookie and cream milkshake and she said it was really good as well! it was super cute inside the store as well! decor made the vibe way higher and happier :)
Love that we found a local place for bingsu - or I think it's listed on menu as "bing snow" - but basically very fluffy, light and airy shaved ice - definitely distinct from Hawaiian shaved ice that I've had - both amazing in their own ways. Just the right amount of sweetness. Loved the fresh mango!
So we arrived here about 8:00p after eating dinner nearby on a Thursday. This is located in Alicia Town Center at the corner of Alicia Parkway and Paseo de Valencia, where Ralphs is. I was a bit confused as it's called Fluffy Bear on Yelp, but the storefront has a "Pengo Drink Station & Ice Cream" sign (the window has a big "Fluffy Bear" sticker sign). On Pengo's website, it shows as one of Pengo's location, but doesn't say anything about "Fluffy Bear." It's "Pengo x Fluffy Bear" on Instagram, "Fluffy Bear Soft Serve" on Facebook...and who knows what other aliases they go by, lol. Anyhoo, I guess this Pengo location serves soft serve and bing snow, hence, Fluffy Bear? I wasn't feeling the soft serve or bing snow so I opted to get the taro brûlée from the crème brûlée series ($6.95). Hubs got the oreo brûlée ($6.95) with honey boba ($1.00), and everyone else got soft serve ($5.95), with or without a taiyaki cone ($1.99). Not sure if this is the norm, but there were only two flavors of soft serve. Vanilla and flavor of the week, which was mango. One got vanilla, the other got mango, and two got the swirl (both flavors swirled together). The taiyaki was warm and good, as were both soft serve flavors. My taro brûlée was okay. There wasn't a hug difference between the oreo so I initially I thought they mistakenly put boba in the wrong flavor. There were also clumps of heavy cream or something fatty that I'd suck up from time to time, which wasn't pleasant. Service was nice and fairly fast, but not sure if we just came at an off night or what, but I wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be.
So we came looking for Fluffy Bear only to find that it is actually Pengo. I should have read the reviews before hand but got overly excited from the pictures which I now realize are older pictures. The only Fluffy Bear flavors they had for soft serve were matcha and vanilla. We got the vanilla and I will say, it was delicious! Creamy and thick. But is it worth $7? If you add the bubble cone, it's an additional $2. The Pengo Peach it Up (minus chia seeds) was excellent. They add mint to it that makes it refreshing. I'd definitely get this one again.

My wife and I walked into this place randomly, and wow let me tell you - this might be one of the best dessert spots I've ever been to. We got the vanilla bean + taro fluffy bear ice cream in a cup. We topped it with boba and brown sugar, with some gummy bears. Service was great, and the store is totally cute with its design and decorations. Highly recommended, the ingredients tasted so fresh. This place is so cute !! The aesthetic is out of this world. Definitely recommend and their staff radiate good vibes. They love jamming to the music they play and you can feel the energy! I enjoyed their ice cream and it kind of reminds me of Somi Somi. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the flavors are unique and delicious. I recommend the taro and my friend loves the charcoal. The parking lot was not too bad and it is located within a plaza near other stores. Definitely a family friendly environment and would come back! read more
This review is overdue as my friend and I visited Fluffy Bear during their grand opening. Since I'm based in San Diego, this was actually purely by chance. We visited LA for a day trip, and despite our normal plans of driving home in one shot, we both agreed a dessert + restroom break was well warranted. Heading southbound on the 5, we had already passed Irvine so the usual spots were out of contention since we didn't want to travel in the opposite direction. Having previously lived in Orange County, I wasn't expecting anything life changing. Yet life is full of surprises. As usual, Yelp was the vehicle for a memorable experience. As everyone has noted and you can see from the pictures, the interior is incredible. The colors are vibrant and every square inch of the space is photogenic. Service was beyond friendly and the ice cream + toppings were very delicious and reasonably priced. Super fun and worth checking out! read more

We stopped by Fluffy Bear because we were curious about this little shop with the bright pink neon sign. It wasn't there before and I can't remember what was in its place before. However, after checking out their Instagram and Yelp page, we became rather curious about this shop. Fluffy Bear is located in the city of Laguna Hills. It's tucked into a small strip mall off of Alicia Parkway. You can reach this location via the 73 toll road or the 5 freeway. Ample parking is available in the lot that is shared with multiple businesses. Fluffy Bear has a limited amount of flavors of soft serve. However, it's just enough for you to get creative with your frozen treat! They have the menu on an electronic display board. Their soft serve flavors are: matcha, cookies and cream, taro, and black sesame. You can have your ice cream served in a cup or cone. Speaking of cones, they have 4 great flavors: cinnamon, charcoal, red velvet, and green tea (I think that's what the last flavor was). Toppings are also unlimited so go for it! They also have floats, milk shakes, and teas. I like that although their flavors are limited, they've got several options to think outside of the box and get creative! What I'm most interested in is their ice cream with boba! I didn't know that this was an option but now I really am looking forward to this now! Fluffy Bear has a lot to offer. I really like how something that seems so simple has several possibilities, if you get creative with your dessert presentation. This place is a great addition to the city of Laguna Hills and its surrounding cities. read more
Just what this area needed! No more having to drive to Garden Grove or DTSA for my matcha and black sesame fix. You can sample their flavors before making your choice. Option to have it in a cup or cone (black sesame, red velvet, etc). They also offer BOBA as a topping option for your ice cream. Unlimited toppings, my favorite is always the mochi and the oreo dusting. My favorite combination is the matcha and cookies and cream swirl. Odd but it works! The matcha is true to it's flavor. VERY PURE MATCHA - not diluted. Very cute interior and obviously, very instagrammable. Really cute "Let's make a CONEction" neon sign and that tiny lit hallway to the restroom. There's a few tables and a bar for seating as well as a couch to hang out at. Plenty of parking as it shares the entire lot with Ralph's and other establishments. I've been here a few times already and have tried some of their refreshments. My current favorite is the Thai Milk tea (sub Almond milk). The few times I've went it's always been the same lady that's helped me out. She's always smiling. She's the sweetest and always makes sure we're all taken cared of. Very cute place with a small and simple menu! However, I always find this to be a good thing because it means they do everything very well. I love that they're open late because I'm often wanting a tea towards the end of the night when I'm done with all my work and this was perfect. My mom got the cinnamon cone with a taro swirl and no toppings- she LOVED it! I don't like taro myself but I tried it and the creaminess was on point, and even I admit the flavor was really good. I got a matcha latte- I was worried because the pictures make it seem like the milk to matcha ratio is a little intense but the matcha flavor is SO strong and flavorful that it mixes in perfectly and is such a treat! Not too sweet at all, which I feel like a lot of boba places have problems with. I would recommend checking this place out. read more

Fluffy Bear is located off of Alicia in a Ralph's shopping center. The name itself is such a cool concept and walking in,you feel like a fluffy bear eager to try all the delicious flavors! The interior is really cutesy with the pink explosion of colors and neon signs. There are a few great photo ops for social media as well. We came during the soft opening and there were only 2 flavors available at the time. Taro and Cookies n Creme.The matcha was in the making and would take a few more minutes till ready. Fortunately those were the flavors we wanted to try. Theres a choice between a cup,regular cone and charcoal cone. The taro was delicious and on point and my picky kids enjoyed there cookies n creme flavor. The owner was nice enough to let me sample a generous portion of the matcha,so I will definitely be back to enjoy that in a cone. Overall there are many other establishments booming with similar concepts, but its nice to differentiate the individuality and I will definitely be back! read more
Love the cute decor of this location! One of those instagram worthy dessert shop with pink lighting/decoration. It's located in a small plaza with plenty of parking, interior is kind of a hybrid of boba/soft serve since they have both options. My friend and I were too full to have soft serve, so we decided to get drinks. I got the matcha latte/less sweet, don't forget to check in with yelp for 15% off. Although $4.25 seems quite expensive for a drink, the portion of the cup is bigger compared to other boba shops, also with a cute bear logo too! The less sweet was perfect sweetness for me, however I wish the matcha flavor was stronger, I got more milk than matcha. Server's here are friendly, they allow you to try multiple samples~ Would definately want to try the soft serve for my next visit! read more
Such an awesome spot! The staff is great, aesthetic is cute, and everything is delicious! We've visited multiple times before and figured it was time to write a review. This visit we got taro soft serve in a cone and topped it with fruity pebbles. We also got a taro snow topped with mochi bits, coconut shreds, whipped cream, pocky sticks and condense milk. Both items were awesome. The soft serve wasn't too sweet and it paired well with the fruity pebbles; and the texture of the snow was so light. We definitely enjoyed our visit and will visit again when we are in the area! read more

Really nice and fun location! Lots of photo ops inside with the fun neon lighting. Since last time I went they are now collaborating with Pengo and you can order from fluffy bear or Pengo at the counter. The menu has just about everything you would want from boba to ice cream and desserts. I love the soft serve! This is definitely a little hidden gem in Laguna hills. read more

I wanted to give them spot 5 stars so bad but the cookies and cream ice cream was delicious. The boba ice cream cup was WAY too sweet, should be called Diaboba for the amount of sugar it must contain. The matcha shake was decent. The pineapple mango shave ice was yummy. The matcha raspberry latte was AWFUL BUT the service was amazing! Very nice ppl and cute atmosphere read more

If you're into cute photo ops, and everything pink check this place out. My friends came here for ice cream. They have 4 flavors right now. You can get it in a cup or cone. What really caught my eyes is one of the toppings is boba! I was skeptical at first only cos the coldness from the ice cream would make the boba go hard, and nobody likes hard boba. But surprisingly the boba stayed soft and chewy. FYI: UNLIMITED TOPPINGS :) read more

"Let's make a CONEction" and appreciate the punny decor in Fluffy Bear! This is a new spot in Laguna Hills, and it offers a variety of dessert items and Instagram photo-ops. The menu consists of ice cream in a cup or cone (or both), milkshakes, ice cream floats, iced and hot drinks, ice cream add-ons, and an abundance of toppings. The interior is very bright and cutesy, with a couch and several tables to sit at. The lady who took our order was super friendly and walked us through the menu. We got matcha ice cream in a cup with boba that was added at the bottom, and even though toppings are unlimited, I just asked for two chocolate wafer rolls. The lady who made our order was also patient. The ice cream itself was creamy and delectable - it had just the right amount of sweetness and matcha flavor. I loved that the honey boba was warm!! A major plus that boba can be added to the ice cream :] This place can definitely satisfy a sweet tooth, and I could see it becoming a hangout or study spot real soon. I'll for sure come back to order more of their elevated boba sundaes! read more

This place is super cute and the interior is so aesthetically pleasing and great for pictures. I got the taro soft serve and it was really creamy. My personal favorite was the waffle cone! It was so crispy and tasty. Overall I think it was a great value because the portion was super generous and staff was super sweet. read more

Liked the interesting taro and black sesame iced creams. Tasty cookies & cream milkshake for my 93 year old mother in law. Also got a tasty Thai tea. Sort of a Japanese theme. Sorry to say not much socializing allowed, given Covid, but still fun atmosphere. Thankfully plenty of free parking. read more
Five plus stars! First time trying the snow...I have been missing out. The snow is the actual flavored drink quickly frozen into soft fluffy snow. You have the option of adding soft serve ice cream at the bottom and lots of topping options. Kids had the strawberry snow with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, fruity pebbles, and gummy bears. My husband and I shared the coffee snow with vanilla ice cream, a cute frozen coffee bear, cocoa crispies, and chocolate chips. Will definitely be back for that! The ice was rich with coffee flavor and not too sweet. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. 4 small tables outside and some seating inside. Worth the 15 minute drive! read more
This place is cool! Cute on the inside with lots of lights and picture worthy walls. The menu is large, it seems they've combined two businesses. They did have some food options. I came for the ice cream and it was very yummy. They unfortunately only have two ice cream flavors now, which is the only downside in my opinion, but they have plenty of drink and "snow" options as well. The taro is very sweet but when served as a swirl with vanilla, it balances out. read more
My dad moved to this area, and everytime I visit this is a must visit on my list! The boba is great, the tea is the perfect sweetness, and the ice cream is an awesome texture. I always get the Thai tea float add boba, and it's amazing! Also to be notes the staff is always very kind and makes the experience even more enjoyable! read more

The staff is extremely friendly and was able to make my daughters experience a memorable one. Even my niece enjoyed it too and she's a picky one. We came down from Reno and this was 45 mins from our Airbnb. Was worth it to see her smile and glad they were able to make it a great experience for one of the todos for her bday. read more

We were getting tired of our usual ice cream places, so we decided to check out this place I've had bookmarked for a few weeks. The interior is really pink and colorful so it's welcoming and positive to be inside here! Onto the ice cream: this stuff was creamy and I mean that in the best way possible. Combined with some fruity pebbles and sprinkles, I really enjoyed the ice cream I got! The one drawback was that I didn't really notice a flavor on my taro + cookies & cream swirl. It didn't taste more or less like the other but more just like cream. Don't get me wrong, cream tastes great but I did want to have those flavors come out from my ice cream. I still highly recommend this place for their soft serve! read more

This place was super cute inside and an IG story's dream! Love that they had options for the whole family. The pomegranate/raspberry soft serve was super fruity and the added mochi was the perfect touch! The earl grey milk tea + honey boba was not too sweet and satisfied my boba craving. The Thai tea + boba was amazing and again not too sweet and on point. Thanks for the recommendation from the employee at the counter. And lastly, the cookies & cream and matcha shakes were a hit with the kiddos! This brought some bright happy treats to these darker times. My friend and I had tasted a variety of beverages at this establishment, and I really enjoyed the egg coffee in this gorgeous location. The egg has been thickened and frothed, and the coffee does not have the fishy fragrance of eggs. It was quite excellent, and it gave the coffee a different, robust flavor. I highly recommend this location. It is a pretty cute area. read more

I love Fluffy Bear, it is a great place. I loved how they repainted the walls, I like how the colors of Pansexual are on there. One of my friends said she loved the decor. Everyone is so nice and to be honest, nobody seems rude. It's one of my favorite boba places and hopes you guys stay open for a long time because yall are just too kind to everyone. read more

Fluffy Bear! Neon Skittle Lights! Soft Serve Ice Cream: Green Tea, Cookies and Cream, Taro, Black Sesame in a cone or a cup with unlimited toppings!!! Free samples of the soft serve before you indulge in your own cup. I tried the Taro, Black Sesame, and Cookies and Cream. I picked the Taro Ice Cream! It reminds me so much of my childhood. The flavor was just on point. What made this unique?!? Well Boba! You can add boba to your ice cream. (Extra 50 cents because they dont see it as a topping). Its your average black squishy boba. (I was hopeful that they might habe the golden boba, no golden boba here). So they put the boba on the bottom of the cup. Fill it up with the ice cream! And then you can add as much toppings! I had 4 Pocky sticks (2 strawberries and 2 matcha green tea), fruity pebbles, and a cute little oreo on top! Then they add more boba!!!! Okay, the kid in me was just so happy to get this cup in my hand. It was colorful. Eating it there was just so fun! Every table was taken. Most of the patrons were taking pictures! And was basically in sugar heaven. I made it to sugar heaven too! Who wouldnt! I might be back for their milk tea bobas. I might be back with my kids too!
