Let me lead off with this: ALL THE WORKERS AT THIS LOCATION ARE SO NICE! from the front desk to bartender to servers and even the valet. Everyone are so nice and they deserve to be recognized Food - if you're coming in and sitting at the bar to do a la carte, get the burger and full day happy hour! What a bang for the buck! If you're doing the AYCE normal package, they're consistent, and falls only to their midtown location. But it might also just be the vibe of the Manhattan location . I've been here 3 times already and I'll continue to come back.

My experience was underwhelming. I decided to come here for my birthday dinner. The food was decent. Not the greatest I've had when it comes to Churrascarias but also not the worst. It's also a chain restaurant so I wasn't expecting much. The same cuts of meats were on rotation. I got tired of waiting for new cuts. I did get a total of 9 different meats but again, for the price tag $69 PP, not much of it was "Premium meat" I tried the Picanha (This I had to ask for as they weren't circling around with it as well as the Ribeye which both only came out once) I was not at all impressed with the taste either it was bland. I will put a run down on the meat I was offered below while rating it. 1- Picanha- 3/5 (Asked for it and only came out once) 2- Garlic steak bites -3/5 (Rotation for 2 hours) 3- bacon wrapped chicken bites 4/5 (Rotation 2 hours) 4- garlic steak bites 3/5 (Rotation as well) 5- Parmesan pork bite 2/5 (Rotation) 6- Ribeye steak 3/5 (Came out once) 7- Skirt Steak 5/5 (Came out twice) 8- Lamb 5/5 (Came out twice) 9- Sausage 0/5 it truly was so gross. (The most offered on rotation) No other meat was offered. This is what was on rotation throughout the night. I've had better in other places. It's not "Premium" meats. It's standard cuts of meat aside from the Picanha and Ribeye which we had to ask for. The Market Table didn't look fresh, I ate a few items that were flavorless. The Brazilian bread was amazing as was the mashed potatoes.. They don't really have a non-alcoholic section so I got some Brazilian cherry Ginger-ale. Overall rating 3/5 and I don't plan to ever visit again. There is only Valet parking outside and there is no fee but the ticket will read "Just Tip"

Since this location opened, have been here a few times for celebrations. Sadly have been finding the experience less satisfying each time. My family though likes to indulge in the grilled meats sometimes so we returned again recently. The staff who were taking care of our table were really nice; like when we requested something, we were accommodated. For one, the meats weren't being offered to us as much as in the central dining area so we had to mention this, and they relayed to the kitchen. Also the same one was brought over 3x in a short amt of time but not other cuts. We had to request for the fruits to be prepared and someone did come out to replenish. Other people were waiting for them for a while too so once ready, some were finished right away. We were waiting for the better cuts of meat and were told we had to ask for them bec some easily get dry. Understandable but when we did request for them, they were brought over kind of late in the meal. One in our group had the market table and 1 meat, which used to be offered in smaller portions but 2x. Now, meat is served only once so it dries up so quickly. Towards the end of the meal, noticed less of the waitstaff in the dining area, maybe bec of the private party? The Fogo rewards program changed and can now earn a reward per person after each visit, via phone number. (Read FAQs). Make sure to join.

Came here to celebrate a birthday during brunch hour, and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and took the time to explain all the different meats. Brunch actually includes the same cuts they serve at dinner, which was a nice surprise. Everything we tried was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Obviously, if you don't like certain proteins you'll skip them, but overall the quality was excellent. The pork belly with honey drizzled on top was incredible it cut through the fat and made the flavors pop. The cheese bread they bring to the table is delicious, but be careful not to fill up on it! The bar had a large variety of options considering it was brunch, and the Salad Bar had soup, salads, and even some breakfast items (I'm sure this changes for dinner). Drinks were very good as well, and they had some nice specials going on. One helpful tip from our server: if you want the higher-end cuts like filet or ribeye, just ask and they'll bring them around. Overall, a really solid experience and a great place to celebrate.

I used reservations and was seated quickly for the 3 pm lunch crowd. I had the $69 chiaroscuro meal, sparkling water with lime and ice. Lots of meats, from well, medium, medium well, finally medium rare. The salad bar is always Beuno, and they have a wide drink ensemble for any palate. All Fogo de Chaos serve the same, so you and your party will not be disappointed. I have been to 7 different sites, all are very good. I ended the meal with a cup of cappuccino which sealed the deal for me.

When Fogo first opened ....we loved it, a nice modern restaurant in Elmhurst. I've been here like 10x. We prefer this one compared to the other locations. I've recommended it to others but lately the food and drinks are not consistently good. Even they noticed inconsistencies in the food. Sometimes it's too salty or the steaks are chewier. There are certain days that the salad bar is fresher, the meats taste better. We can even tell when a good bartender is making our drinks that day... they rarely ever serve bacon... I've tried their HH menu, the Chileans sea bass, their wagyu...the crab cake was pretty good. Lobster has no flavor. Wagyu's good. Served on top of a salt block. We had leftovers and since some pieces weren't as seasoned, I gave a lil bit to some feral cats. Burger's good but extremely greasy...if I get it, I usually just eat a few bites. It's pretty filling cuz it's so fatty. We came last Sunday which I knew was one of the days to avoid...but L still wanted to go. It was actually very busy, we had reservations. We still were seated near the kitchen since it was so full. Usually we sit in the main area or the side, so we didn't get our usual server... who is great. He's really nice and helpful. Best server at Fogo though everyone is pretty nice. The salad bar... yep not as good.. the potatoes weren't fully cooked. The corn was very chewy. Bacon not available. I actually felt like having some bread and butter but no bread ...only butter. The bean soup was just liquid, so I had to wait till they refilled it but by the time they did ..I was already full from my drinks. L liked his reg. salad which I never get. Papaya wasn't sweet. The meats weren't as tasty. The meats were cold so cold steak does not taste good. When we finished ...a different server was picking up the plates and glasses and drops one glass right next to me. She apologized..luckily I finished that drink so it was mostly empty. We're gonna take a break from Fogo.

On a Wednesday afternoon when you don't have work Thursday morning and looking for a Happy hour spot after 6pm. ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR!! Ofcourse I made sure to pay a visit to Fogo De Chão. Amazing friendly welcoming staff. The bar area was packed. I got me a margarita. Great happy hour and beautiful decor

On a weekend just after lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't too loud or crowded. The servers came by often with more meat. The pork chop was a 9.5/10. The skirt steak was a juicy 6.5/10. Despite the pork belly's oiliness, it was a 9/10. The picanha had a roasted flavor and was juicy --7.5/10. The sirloin didn't particularly stand out to me.

We stopped in for some drinks and ended up having a really nice time. I didn't realize they have happy hour every day--even on weekends--which was a great surprise. The staff was super friendly, and we ended up sitting there chatting for a while and sharing an appetizer. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

Made a early lunch reservation and was quickly seated. We chose the $49 Sunday lunch all you can eat meats and sides/salad bar. The skirt steak always my favorite. They have one sauce that you can get and you can pass on that. Drinks are refillable, there is plenty of parking. Would recommend if you never tried!

Came here on one of the busiest nights, Valentine's Day. Initially we missed our reservation by a few minutes past the grace period of 15 minutes but the restaurant still honored it and after waiting 45 minutes we were still able to sit. Now me personally I don't eat meat BUT if you're a big meat eater then this is the place for you. They had limited alternatives (ex. Seafood) but like most steakhouses they had salmon. Salmon was okay for the most part nothing special to me. Lobster mash potatoes was good. Open bar for certain appetizers (salad and fruits/ vegetable) The concept of the place is basically all you can eat (meat/steaks only and it cost more). However, it's worth it as you get to try different meats/steaks. Staff come to each table asking if parties want to try the meat. Also you pay extra for the sides. Service was great though! Staff were all friendly and attentive. Inside was dark and intimate. Some couples did bring their small child/infant. My review is really limited as I did not try the meat/steaks. So I'd recommend this restaurant if a person is big on this food concept and/or menu items.

The ones we had been to in the past usually allows you to also pick different type of cooking style or seasoning but this place only cooks it their way. It's good for people who are indecisive but disappointing for people who want variety of flavor. They usually have a section of appetizers and drinks you can order on a separate menu as well. The staffs were very low energies when we visited on a weekend night. The overall ambiance and interaction made us feel a little uncomfortable. We ordered: - eggplant dip - fries - Greek salad (large) - cooked fish - calamari - octopus Honestly I was so disappointed with the food. It didn't taste as fresh and was overall too salty. The eggplant dip had a weird taste. Friend fries were not as crispy and unevenly distributed portions of salt. The calamari was nothing special. The fish was okay, and the octopus was so salty we actually sent back the dish. It was very difficult to enjoy it. The staff was so accommodating and actually took the dish off our bill. (Thank you!! - great customer service!). My favorite item was probably the Greek salad, but then again it's hard to mess up a salad. I would say this is my least favorite counter order style seafood restaurant in Astoria. My friend said great things about it prior to my visit and I really wish I would have liked it.

Upon arrival you're greeted with a small, no-frills restaurant that moves people in and out relatively efficiently. You start the process by moving to the front and picking out the fresh fish you'd like for your meal. The gentlemen up front will then weigh it out and ask you how you'd like it prepared. My group ended up grabbing calamari, octopus tentacles, scallops, and a whole fish. We also ordered some baba ghanoush and eggplant with tomato on the side. The scallops and octopus, both of which we ordered grilled, came out first and were excellent! The scallops were soft and buttery with great texture and flavor. The octopus was the star of the show with an excellent bite and texture and great flavor from the olive oil and garlic coating it. Our order of fried calamari was also super tasty. It seems like they sprinked a special spice blend over it to give it some extra kick. Our last fish course was a whole fish served Egyptian style with blackened seasoning. The skin of the fish was amazing. It had a citrusy/salty flavor that was followed by the freshness of the herbs stuffed inside the fish. Our sides were also great with the baba ghanoush being my favorite dip. I give Abuqir top marks for their food and service. The cooks were very helpful in assisting us with making our fish selections and everything was cooked to perfection. I was exuberant for the occasion of goodness to patronize, at long last. What gives you hope. There is an outdoor seating patio that occupies the entire sidewalk and half the street. The weather was gloomy cloudy, but not raining which enable my party of two to dine outdoors. Our table was uneven wobbling and shaking minimal the entire meal which reminisce "Lisa from Temecula" sketch from "Saturday Night Live," but not as violently aggressive shaking. Customer service is average attentive. Oddly, our appetizers arrived first and my wine did not. We had to request my wine which should be distributed first without request or reminder, thus the four stars. This restaurant was not entirely busy nor crowded for a Friday early afternoon. Nick's Bistro is a small cafe with a modern aesthetic appeal. I enjoy and prefer to be well-cultured expose to all international cuisines without judgment and an open mind for appreciation and global awareness. I am not knowledgeable with Greek cuisine, but I do know that Astoria is the locale for the go-to restaurants. I enter with a empty stomach. I exited fulfilled. Business cards and candy were available for grabs. Nick's Bistro is easily accessible via MTA NYC Transit buses Q53 SBS/ Q52 SBS and then Q54. Dramatic irony: this business name is also the name of my former love - not the same Nick, certainly not the same man. My foodie synopsis: Lamb gyro sandwich, $12.00 The meat was soft, but fresh and Tzatziki sauce was heavy. I do not consume lamb often, but once in a blue moon I would not exclude lamb to consume. The pita bread was the highlight which was fresh, soft and cooked with a good consistency without burning or harden. The gyro contain very pauacity minimal vegetables of lettuce, half cherry tomato and red onion. I always prefer red onion. I prefer regular tomato. This sandwich ate my fill to sustain hunger pangs the entire afternoon. Gyro sandwich is always my default Greek entrée of choice. Oddly, this entrée is price higher than listed on their website for $9.00. I do not believe their website is updated for price. Caesar salad, small $11.25 It was fresh and delightful filled with Parmesan shaved cheese. This portion is actually medium size. The croutons are thankfully not hard, but I never like croutons at all. I am always enamored with the lettuce. Ruffino, Chianti, 2019 red wine $12.00 This wine is one of my favorite reds, but it is difficult to find at most restaurants or cafés not widely offer. It was a joyous delight. It is exactly as is dry, very medium-bodied smooth finish Italian red wine from Tuscany, Italy, crafted from indigenous Sangiovese grape. It highlight bright cherry flavors and surely tasted. I was floating in very high spirits. Chicken rice soup, pint $6.95 Served luke warm but not piping hot with steam visibly emitted. It was also served with Oyster crackers. It was enjoyable and warm the heart. Greek Omelet, over easy egg whites $16.50 It was served with Greek feta cheese with vegetables yellow zucchini and pita chips. I highly despise Greek feta cheese and the same for Greek yogurt because both are extremely heavy, thick and too rich. I do not see any tomatoes. This entrée did appeared well prepared and well cooked but no runny yoke. My neighbor thoroughly enjoyed this entrée. Every time I think of omelet it bring flashbacks from past long-haul international flights major airlines of standard airplane food popularity for in-flight breakfast, often served with potatoes, sausage, or roasted vegetables. Nostalgia brew. Omelet? Flight attendant, I'll take the Continental with pastries, toast and fresh fruit please. Then followed by Bedtime Care Bear make me fall asleep again.
