    Tres Leche Birthday Cake!

The meat was non stop which I love. The atmosphere was very classy and beautiful. The staff were very attentive and professional. It was on the expensive side but worth the money and the experience. I came here to celebrate my birthday!

Let me lead off with this: ALL THE WORKERS AT THIS LOCATION ARE SO NICE! from the front desk to bartender to servers and even the valet. Everyone are so nice and they deserve to be recognized Food - if you're coming in and sitting at the bar to do a la carte, get the burger and full day happy hour! What a bang for the buck! If you're doing the AYCE normal package, they're consistent, and falls only to their midtown location. But it might also just be the vibe of the Manhattan location . I've been here 3 times already and I'll continue to come back.

My experience was underwhelming. I decided to come here for my birthday dinner. The food was decent. Not the greatest I've had when it comes to Churrascarias but also not the worst. It's also a chain restaurant so I wasn't expecting much. The same cuts of meats were on rotation. I got tired of waiting for new cuts. I did get a total of 9 different meats but again, for the price tag $69 PP, not much of it was "Premium meat" I tried the Picanha (This I had to ask for as they weren't circling around with it as well as the Ribeye which both only came out once) I was not at all impressed with the taste either it was bland. I will put a run down on the meat I was offered below while rating it. 1- Picanha- 3/5 (Asked for it and only came out once) 2- Garlic steak bites -3/5 (Rotation for 2 hours) 3- bacon wrapped chicken bites 4/5 (Rotation 2 hours) 4- garlic steak bites 3/5 (Rotation as well) 5- Parmesan pork bite 2/5 (Rotation) 6- Ribeye steak 3/5 (Came out once) 7- Skirt Steak 5/5 (Came out twice) 8- Lamb 5/5 (Came out twice) 9- Sausage 0/5 it truly was so gross. (The most offered on rotation) No other meat was offered. This is what was on rotation throughout the night. I've had better in other places. It's not "Premium" meats. It's standard cuts of meat aside from the Picanha and Ribeye which we had to ask for. The Market Table didn't look fresh, I ate a few items that were flavorless. The Brazilian bread was amazing as was the mashed potatoes.. They don't really have a non-alcoholic section so I got some Brazilian cherry Ginger-ale. Overall rating 3/5 and I don't plan to ever visit again. There is only Valet parking outside and there is no fee but the ticket will read "Just Tip"

Came here to celebrate a birthday during brunch hour, and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and took the time to explain all the different meats. Brunch actually includes the same cuts they serve at dinner, which was a nice surprise. Everything we tried was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Obviously, if you don't like certain proteins you'll skip them, but overall the quality was excellent. The pork belly with honey drizzled on top was incredible it cut through the fat and made the flavors pop. The cheese bread they bring to the table is delicious, but be careful not to fill up on it! The bar had a large variety of options considering it was brunch, and the Salad Bar had soup, salads, and even some breakfast items (I'm sure this changes for dinner). Drinks were very good as well, and they had some nice specials going on. One helpful tip from our server: if you want the higher-end cuts like filet or ribeye, just ask and they'll bring them around. Overall, a really solid experience and a great place to celebrate.

I always had a desideratum to dine at Fogo. I always wondered what a dining experience would be. Forward. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is considered an upscale complete with table linens, celebratory atmosphere, and "all-you-can-eat" venue, typically with a bustling, energetic Southern Brazilian cuisine, serving churrasco barbecue style meats and traditional side dishes. This location is in Elmhurst, Queens, NYC and adjacent to Queens Center Mall where patrons can shop and subsequently conclude the day with a wonderful meal. Party of two for "All For One Price" continuous, fire-roasted cuts brought to your table, endless sides, and seasonal specialties from the Market Table - all for one price. The "Market Table" is a open buffet which includes fruits, vegetables, and seafood. This Market Table is very large. Food is very fresh and abundant readiness. I made the mistake to ruin my appetite with crackers mere hour before sitting at our table. Fire roasted meat distribution to table and carved with patrons catching a piece using a tong. Fogo is a meat lover's paradise for a heavy steak meal. The bottom sirloin or bacon wrapped steak, is noted by Yelpers, always dry. The parmesan crusted pork is flavorful and surprisingly juicy. I highly enjoyed the salmon and Caesar salad. The Green Card system is a signaling device used in traditional Brazilian service, known as Churrasco which allows patrons to control the pace of a meal of the "all-you-can-eat" buffet experience. Green Side (Go): When you place the card with the green side facing up, it signals the Gaucho chefs that you want to continue receiving service. Continuous Service: Chefs will frequently visit your table to carve various fire-roasted meats directly onto your plate, including signature cuts like Picanha (top sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, and lamb chops. Red Side (Stop): When you need a break or are finished, you turn the card to the red side to signal the chefs to stop. Rosé, Montes "Cherub" Colchagua Valley, Chile Dry, seductive, and elegant, it is a very smooth good finish. This wine may me float. I always have a predilection for wine. Caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail This drink is made with cachaça (a sugar cane), hard liquor, sugar and lime with ice. It's refreshing for my friend. Chocolate Molten cake with vanilla ice cream One word: WOW! Customer service is very attentive and polite with kindness in a celebratory positive mood. Our party of two were inquired if we needed anything during mid-dinning experience and my friend requested Brazilian grilled cheese, espetinhos de queijo with honey. Pão de queijo, Brazilian cheese puff bread is served. High ceilings and there is a large relief statue of Antônio Caringi, Brazilian sculptor (1905-1981). Business cards and mints are abundantly available for grabs. I strongly suggest table reservations in advance, particularly for weekends and holidays as this large dining hall was bewilderingly very quickly filled as we dined on extreme artic cold February, Saturday. Every day can be one's birthday celebration. I think being alive with another tomorrow is a reason to be celebratory. I would surely return for another visit - enter empty stomach.

Since this location opened, have been here a few times for celebrations. Sadly have been finding the experience less satisfying each time. My family though likes to indulge in the grilled meats sometimes so we returned again recently. The staff who were taking care of our table were really nice; like when we requested something, we were accommodated. For one, the meats weren't being offered to us as much as in the central dining area so we had to mention this, and they relayed to the kitchen. Also the same one was brought over 3x in a short amt of time but not other cuts. We had to request for the fruits to be prepared and someone did come out to replenish. Other people were waiting for them for a while too so once ready, some were finished right away. We were waiting for the better cuts of meat and were told we had to ask for them bec some easily get dry. Understandable but when we did request for them, they were brought over kind of late in the meal. One in our group had the market table and 1 meat, which used to be offered in smaller portions but 2x. Now, meat is served only once so it dries up so quickly. Towards the end of the meal, noticed less of the waitstaff in the dining area, maybe bec of the private party? The Fogo rewards program changed and can now earn a reward per person after each visit, via phone number. (Read FAQs). Make sure to join.

When Fogo first opened ....we loved it, a nice modern restaurant in Elmhurst. I've been here like 10x. We prefer this one compared to the other locations. I've recommended it to others but lately the food and drinks are not consistently good. Even they noticed inconsistencies in the food. Sometimes it's too salty or the steaks are chewier. There are certain days that the salad bar is fresher, the meats taste better. We can even tell when a good bartender is making our drinks that day... they rarely ever serve bacon... I've tried their HH menu, the Chileans sea bass, their wagyu...the crab cake was pretty good. Lobster has no flavor. Wagyu's good. Served on top of a salt block. We had leftovers and since some pieces weren't as seasoned, I gave a lil bit to some feral cats. Burger's good but extremely greasy...if I get it, I usually just eat a few bites. It's pretty filling cuz it's so fatty. We came last Sunday which I knew was one of the days to avoid...but L still wanted to go. It was actually very busy, we had reservations. We still were seated near the kitchen since it was so full. Usually we sit in the main area or the side, so we didn't get our usual server... who is great. He's really nice and helpful. Best server at Fogo though everyone is pretty nice. The salad bar... yep not as good.. the potatoes weren't fully cooked. The corn was very chewy. Bacon not available. I actually felt like having some bread and butter but no bread ...only butter. The bean soup was just liquid, so I had to wait till they refilled it but by the time they did ..I was already full from my drinks. L liked his reg. salad which I never get. Papaya wasn't sweet. The meats weren't as tasty. The meats were cold so cold steak does not taste good. When we finished ...a different server was picking up the plates and glasses and drops one glass right next to me. She apologized..luckily I finished that drink so it was mostly empty. We're gonna take a break from Fogo.

On a Wednesday afternoon when you don't have work Thursday morning and looking for a Happy hour spot after 6pm. ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR!! Ofcourse I made sure to pay a visit to Fogo De Chão. Amazing friendly welcoming staff. The bar area was packed. I got me a margarita. Great happy hour and beautiful decor

On a weekend just after lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't too loud or crowded. The servers came by often with more meat. The pork chop was a 9.5/10. The skirt steak was a juicy 6.5/10. Despite the pork belly's oiliness, it was a 9/10. The picanha had a roasted flavor and was juicy --7.5/10. The sirloin didn't particularly stand out to me.

I used reservations and was seated quickly for the 3 pm lunch crowd. I had the $69 chiaroscuro meal, sparkling water with lime and ice. Lots of meats, from well, medium, medium well, finally medium rare. The salad bar is always Beuno, and they have a wide drink ensemble for any palate. All Fogo de Chaos serve the same, so you and your party will not be disappointed. I have been to 7 different sites, all are very good. I ended the meal with a cup of cappuccino which sealed the deal for me.

Made a early lunch reservation and was quickly seated. We chose the $49 Sunday lunch all you can eat meats and sides/salad bar. The skirt steak always my favorite. They have one sauce that you can get and you can pass on that. Drinks are refillable, there is plenty of parking. Would recommend if you never tried!

We stopped in for some drinks and ended up having a really nice time. I didn't realize they have happy hour every day--even on weekends--which was a great surprise. The staff was super friendly, and we ended up sitting there chatting for a while and sharing an appetizer. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. Very accommodating and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience better overall.

Our waiter was friendly, attentive throughout the meal, and knew both the menu and specials inside and out. We started with the grilled octopus, house dips, and a thick-cut slice of bacon. The octopus was tender with a nice char, while the bacon delivered exactly what you'd expect from a steakhouse appetizer--simple, rich, and satisfying. For the main course, we shared a Porterhouse for Three and a ribeye, accompanied by mushroom risotto, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. The steaks were the highlight of the evening. Both had an outstanding crust while remaining perfectly cooked inside. The porterhouse in particular showcased why dry-aged beef has such a following. The mushroom risotto paired especially well with the ribeye, while the garlic mash and creamed spinach were classic steakhouse sides executed well. I also tried a Negroni before dinner, which proved to be a great choice and complemented the appetizers nicely. The dining room strikes a balance between upscale and comfortable, with an old-school steakhouse feel that lets the food and service take center stage. Great for a special occasion--we were celebrating both Father's Day and a birthday, and the experience felt worthy of the occasion. Christo's is not an inexpensive night out, but for excellent steaks, polished service, and an experience that feels special without being pretentious, it's money well spent.

We kicked things off with three bottles of Malbec, which was excellent and easily the highlight of the first round. The appetizers--Caesar and Baby Arugula salads, Fried Calamari, Lamb Cigars, and a half dozen each of oysters and clams--were just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. For mains, we went all in with Christo's Signature Porterhouse for 3 (63oz/$185), Charbroiled Salmon, Baby Lamb special, and a Sea Bass special. The steak was cooked well and had solid flavor--definitely the standout among the entrees. The seafood dishes were fine, but again, not particularly exceptional. We finished the night with a selection of desserts, which were nice but didn't quite redeem the meal. Service was courteous, and the ambiance definitely leans upscale and festive, but for the price point, the food was hit-or-miss. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not quite the wow factor we were hoping for on a holiday night.

But we are huge fans of the Peter Luger steak sauce & we had visitors, so why not visit this iconic steak house which is conveniently not located in NYC proper? We arrived a little early for dinner, so the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. They had us sit for a second at the bar lounge while a table was being assigned to us. The ambiance really plays up the heritage of the Peter Luger brand. We were seated towards the very back of the restaurant. I really liked the area since it was not too dimly lit. We started with the breads and wedge salad. I love carbs, and I liked that the breads were a little heavily seasoned. Caraway seeds are not for everyone, but they are for me. The butter was not very flavorful or soft, but I guess that's being too picky for free bread and butter before the meal. I chose the wedge salad because I knew I'd want crisp lettuce with my steak & also this salad comes topped with chopped bacon. The same thick bacon that people order on the side! It felt like a two-for-one dish. I enjoyed both the bacon and the lettuce smothered in blue cheese. The bacon really was nicely cured. We got the steak for two, which came on a sizzling plate precut. We did ask for medium-- not my preference-- because my guests didn't really enjoy eating meat not browned up all the way through. However, the steak came out closer to medium-rare. Initially, the plate was hot enough for us to try to sear the pieces. However, I found that the plate cooled much more quickly than I thought. The flavor of the meat was very prominent and the seasoning was well executed. Creamed spinach was a bit of a disappointment. It just didn't really taste like anything except a little muddy in aftertaste. The onion and tomato were nice, thick slices that helped cut through the richness of the steak. I did write on the reservation that my guests were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and they brought out some whipped cream and chocolate even though we declined dessert! I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

The establishment closes at 10pm but was still willing to seat all of us at 9:30pm the service was quick they tried there best to give us a proper experience before closing and asked if there were any specific meats that we wanted to try. I appreciate how hard the staff worked to make the most of the night and it was a great experience. I can't wait to come back and give the restaurant a proper try. Thank you to the hardworking staff for making this a great birthday.

This Uncle Jack's location was not busy on a Friday Night at Prime Time 7PM?! I was surprised to…read moresee that there were only a few tables occupied as I was expecting the place to be packed. I made sure to secure a reservation since I had a large group; 9 of us in total, to celebrate two birthdays. Expectations were high given its reputation as a classic steakhouse, but I had not been to this location before. I've always had a great experience in Manhattan. Overall, this was just a "mid" experience - reason being mainly the food. Our server was fine - he took our orders and successfully managed all of our drinks. However, he only checked on us twice and it took a bit of time to get his attention for the check. The other staffers that brought out our food, extra plates or silverware were attentive as needed. We definitely ordered a lot of food! However, each dish was underwhelming and not memorable. What would have been a nice dinner with family and friends, but the quality was just not there. To be honest, the favorite of the night besides the $130 bottle of wine (Chateau du Parc), was the appetizer - thick cut maple glazed bacon which they now serve on a clothesline instead of on a warm plate, a trend these days. And the other memorable dish was the organic mesclun salad. The tomatoes and goat cheese were really fresh, and the salad was not overly dressed. Noticed I didn't mention the steaks. Meh. Other appetizers we had: - Charred Spanish Octopus (a very busy dish, needed to be simpler)- Lobster Bisque with chunks of lobster meat, meatballs for the table, and baked clams (bread crumbs were good) For dinner/shared by all: - we ordered two orders of "Porterhouse for two" to share at each end of the table. It was cooked as ordered, medium rare but it was not well seasoned. And it was more rare then medium... Still good for leftovers but not how it should've been. - Prime Rib Chop (aka Fred Flintstone) which was a 35-day dry-aged long bone Tomahawk chop. It was quite the presentation but flavor profile totally a miss. I did wrap it to go to save the bone and to re-cook - Prime Filet Mignon - lightly seasoned and slightly over cooked - The Big Jack Burger, very decent burger and cooked perfectly as ordered. The fries were great - lightly salted and plenty of them. The sides were most disappointing this evening: -garlic mashed potatoes, see photo -creamed spinach, decent but not memorable -brussel sprouts with bacon bits, plenty of char We were disappointed in the overall taste and prep of the steaks.
