We were so kind, respectful and well dressed crowd. I was very upset my gratuity was included which she did not deserve!! The food on the other hand was really good and everyone that came by to cut the meat for you was amazing. There is a drink package for $138 pp. includes food and drinks but it's not worth it. Fogo de Chão was a really great experience overall. The food was high quality, especially the meats--they were flavorful and cooked well. The salad bar had a lot of variety and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere felt upscale but still comfortable, which made it a nice place to eat and relax. Noemi was extremely welcoming and friendly I had good time and enjoyed their service. This was weird. We had a 7:45p reservation on Saturday and our waiter was very charismatic and friendly but was stretched very very thin. In my opinion he had way too many tables to care for and not to his fault but the restaurant's. But this led to poor service in my opinion. The place was very busy and the poor guy was trying his best. When we were seated we ordered our drinks and got salad bar food. And it wasn't until mid meal our cheese bread and plantains came out at my request. The mashed potatoes didn't make it so we requested. He said they were coming but fast forward it was being prepared and didn't come out for another hour. If our server just told us upfront we wouldn't be so anxious and would have probably left a lot earlier. We probably requested potato's from this man 5 times because we thought he forgot. The reason why we thought he forgot was because it took the restaurant 40 min to get refills/ other drinks, sauces, and/or for them to clear extra plates out of the way. Everything was a wait including water. When we wanted to leave we couldn't because we had a birthday. They were all out of the deserts, they said there was only 3 options left and we picked one 10 minutes later the server came back said there was no more. Ok we picked a different dessert, 15 min later the brought the original order came out. Also let me tell you about the bathroom everytime I walked by there was a wait for the ladies bathroom. And it was kinda dirty for the scale of the restaurant. There were only 3 stalls and paper all over the ground and no one restocked the tp. This restaurant seats 300 people easily and they have 3 stalls. The cherry on top was when it came time for the bill. We had gift cards we wanted to use the remaining would just go on another card. We did not tip well we intentionally did that because it was a not good at all. Our server came back and was like you're supposed to tip based on the total not after the gift cards were applied. And we were like ??? And gave them another $20. I get the meat runners get a portion of the tip but our experience was not good. And that is embarrassing for the restaurant honestly. They have green/red markers on the table. As the server comes around with food you flip your marker to green if you would like to try or to red if you want to skip. We got to try a variety of meats. There is a salad and soup bar as well Our server Angelo was fantastic. Being our first time visiting, he explained the menu and how things worked. I brought my mom here for her birthday and was not happy with the flavor and service at all. Our waiter came to our table once to greet, and then never came to take our order that we had to ask another server for help. The place is gorgeous however and quite big, but I ordered their lobster and it did not have a single pinch of salt or flavouring, it was so bland I had to just squirt all the lemon slices they had given me. Enough to say, there slices of meat came around every 15-20 minutes, and it was just awfully slow for a high end steak restaurant. The sides were included in the all you can eat, so my family and I ate lots of their salad as we waited for their long walk of meats. Then she asked if we wanted regular spring water or sparkling water. Usually sparkling is extra so I said regular spring water. Later another person came by to fill our cups with the regular pitcher. When our server came back to our table she got upset with the woman who gave us water and scolded her next to our table. Professionally this isn't okay, but just as a person that's very rude to do. If you have to talk to your coworker talk to her on the side instead of in front of customers and embarrassing her. The server then brought us the expensive bottled water and tried to up charge us when I said regular water. The manager had them taken off and the rest of the dinner was okay. However they had this weird thing where they would walk around with premade drinks and food. We had people constantly asked if we wanted the drinks or food. Personally, if I wanted them, I would have ordered it instead of having a lukewarm drink that's been sitting around for awhile. Overall, I wouldn't come here for full price. Was surprised to see that Fogo de Chão was located beneath Nordstrom Rack area. If you go for the dinner buffet (around $60-70 pp for salad and meats), everyone gets a coin that has a "yes" or "no" said. When you want the servers to give you meat, you put the yes side up, and then no when you want a break. The meats were really good and fun to try. The salad bar was so yummy. I've enjoyed eating at this establishment multiple times in the past, so it's extra disappointing and frustrating to have to come to terms with the fact that I've been literally and possibly intentionally scammed. I had placed two orders of Churrasco combinations to go. When I got the order the first time, I had to return from my car to ask for utensils, which were not provided. I also realized that the amount of meat provided seemed a lot less than 20oz. I cook steaks often so I am quite familiar with what 20oz of meat should look like. I told the manager that I had ordered two 10 ounces combinations to go and my order did not feel like 20 ounces of meat in my hand. He replied that they weigh the meat on the scale before packing and that the Pao de Queijo and Chimichurri were on the house because they don't provide it for by-the-pound orders. The latter made no sense to me since I had ordered only Churrasco combinations, and that was supposed to come with the Pao and Chimichurri. However, that fact didn't bother me since the manager probably didn't know the details of my order. In addition, I had no way of confirming how much my lamb and Churrasco weighed, so I left the venue in frustration. When I got home, I weighed the meats, still in their foil wrap, on my kitchen scale. They totaled 11.9 oz with the foil wrap. One would expect it to be at least 20 ounces. My spouse called the venue and was told to call back the next day. My day was pretty much ruined as based on the manager's word, I've been either intentionally scammed or, if not scammed, had my concerns completely, and incorrectly dismissed. I can't help but feel that my being Asian was a factor and that if I was a well dressed and groomed non-Asian male, the manager would have gone above and beyond to address my concerns by confirming my order. I still recommend dining at the venue based on my previous experience, but if you plan to go food to go, be vigilant about your items and bring a scale. read more

I really want to like this place, but the few times I've ate here I've been a bit disappointed. During my recent visit I got the all-you-can eat special. Getting desired meat with the green marker up was difficult. They kept pushing sausage and chicken we didn't want as much as the steak and ribs. When serving meat they kept asking the guy "want more?" without ever asking the lady the same question who is the big meat eater. They kept skipping our table for food we wanted (omg so upsetting)... so much so that we had to notify the server (who was very nice). Fortunately we had a few delicious steaks (garlic and sirloin). Unfortunately the buffet was mediocre with 1 soup (tomato, temporarily had no bowls), just a few salad options, and cold French bread. We had tres leches for dessert, but it was nothing special. Maybe it's been a long whole but there are more tables in the bar area than I remembered but we were served quickly and all was well here. Said to let their sever know so they can bring out a treat. Server came 10 mins later and took our drink orders, asked the same question and acknowledged my birthday and we were still waiting on one other person so we puts out drink orders in. Took 15 mins to get them. Dinner wise, food was good. Some cuts were a little dry but could be the portion served but otherwise ok. The problem is the service. We didn't have any check ins from anyone and the first server made a point that they are a "Team" and than anyone can help, but it seemed like it was on a Reactive basis. No one asked if we wanted any specific cuts that we didn't get/see or check in. Everytime we did ask for say another drink order, it would take 10-15 mins to get it. Towards the end, one in our party asked for desert which also took another 15 mins and my party asks me, hey did they forget it's your bday. Yup. We didn't care that point because if we said anything, it would be another 15 min wait anyway so we got the check and left. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. For any other place, service like this can be expected but this is Bellevue. Texas de Brazil is way better in all aspects and they are attentive to their guests. Would expect more from a Bellevue restaurant. Wont be coming back and won't recommend this steakhouse to anyone. There are other better places for sure. read more

Hello, I am writing an email regarding my experience at fogo today at 4pm. Our family had a dinner there and requested a round table and we were 6 people when we made a reservation. They had one round table for open for 6 people. However, they kept saying that table is not available. And we had to ask why we can't seat there since that table was not reserved from someone and it was totally open seat. Server put us very tiny and small table far from market table. Then I went to front and talked to a person regarding my reservation. They checked and then they switched our table. If it could changed, why server had to keep refuse it and already made us feel uncomfortable at 4pm. Which was very slow time. After that, we went to market table for getting food. I wanted to get soup but didn't have bowls set up. I had to find server and ask them to set up bowls for soup. Also we didn't find clean spoons. Their spoons were all dirty. I had to take pictures because I could n't find any clean spoons. I asked server to bring a clean spoon for our table. They served meat super rush... and all cheap meat first. The I waited good meat .. quality meat.. they never came. And I asked server why we are not getting any meats that are on the menu. They asked me which meat I want, then they brought filet Mignon very late only once... I was very dissapointed that we spent time at Fogo for our grandfather's Birthday and grandparent's wedding anniversary. They need to clean silverware clean, they need to more consider for customer that they are expecting better food and service. Very disappointed on so many fronts. We have a reservation for 7pm on a Sunday, and were only seated at 7:30pm. At this price point, this delay is unacceptable. They clearly over book. And remember that most people coming here haven't eaten since lunch, so any delay makes people hangry. Then, to make matters worse was the service. Keep in mind this is a $100/person restaurant. Was hard to get a hold of the server, they seemed overworked and not enough of them. Then the cherry on top was the lack of food coming to our table. We were seated by the entrance, and for some reasons the meat guys would just ignore our section completely. Seriously!! We went here for their Brazilian Cuts Brunch. Great attentive friendly service, as always. The meats were a little bit slow to come out, but when they did, it was amazing. My favorite is their picana. It was perfectly cooked and salted. The fat melted in my mouth. We also had some pork belly, lightly drizzled with honey. We were one of the first customers of the day, so they hadn't completely set the marketplace up yet, but the floor around it was soaked in water. The place is very nice looking. We had a drink at the bar first. Drinks were good and very reasonably priced. Food on the salad bar was hit and miss as was the grilled meats. Most were great. One piece of top sirloin that we had could not be cut with a steak knife. One complaint I had was that I did the special ($49 all you can eat but no filet mignon or lamb), my wife did the regular all you can that includes everything. We were there for over an hour and only received lamb once and never saw filet mignon, so I basically paid $20 extra for one slice of lamb. During my most recent visit, you'd expect the highlight to be the variety of meats, but surprisingly, my friends and I agreed that the fried cheese was the best part of the meal. Brunch at Fogo de Chao was a great experience for $50. They start you off with some fantastic drinks, very strong which is nice because it immediately feels like you are celebrating. You then are offered a brunch buffet bar with a very nice selections of cured meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables, as well as a random assortment of other items. I only chose things from the buffet that I thought would compliment the selections of meat they prepare. The meats were all tasty, the assortment they brought for lunch was impressive, some much better than others. My favorites: 1. Filet Mignon 2. Lamb Picana 2 Top sirloin I think their lamb is under rated, I really enjoyed it, even more than their traditional picana. I love the salad bar as you aren't eating only meat or meat and carb you have the salad as well. I planned my mother's birthday party at Fogo de Chao, and I absolutely could not have been happier. First of all, we planned our event with Daniel. He brought us in for a free lunch, showed us the space, answered all our questions, and was absolutely delightful and charming in every way. On the day of the event, there was a little miscommunication and there were a few more tables and we needed. Fogo De Chao quickly remedied the situation. Our server Patrick, was hands-down one of the best servers I have ever encountered in my entire life. He was professional, competent, charming, efficient, and all-around amazing. Every single person at my party adored him. He also took care of a room of 22 people and made it look easy. He came out with a Caipirinha cart and make sure everyone had one. He gave my daughters their very first Shirley temples which was a momentous occasion! If we asked for a specific cut of meat, he had the person come into the room within a minute. He let us stay in our room a little bit late which was so nice of him because we know how busy they are. Absolutely everything ran spectacularly. The food and drinks were also beyond amazing, but it was really the service that blew us all the way. I know everyone in my party is planning to come back to Fogo de Chao.
