Drinks sitting outside on a nice day

Nice historic hotel to have drinks and bites. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They take credit cards and American Express.

I've been here a few times now usually after having already been to Scarlets/Powerhouse across the street and wanting to continue the night. The experience you'll get is truly up to so many factors. The times my friends and I have came have been on Friday/Saturday nights and the place is packed. It's a $20 cover to get in, they do have an ATM machine you can use. It's packed both inside and outside, you'll wait 15 mins to use the bathroom and will have people hanging on the door for you to get out the whole time, and it'll be hot inside! This isn't a bad bar, it's divey and feels like it's for college kids and middle aged couples. The music has been ok, but if you can find an area to hang out with your friends in the back I'd suggest that! This definitely seems like the place to go with friends if you want to drink and socialize the night away. Haven't tried any of the food, the drinks are fine.

I came here first because of the architecture, came back because a favorite musical artist was playing here. This place like maybe holds 100 people, maybe?! We met the artist, interacted with him because we were 6 feet from the stage. We ate dinner here and it was really good. I had the naked wings and had blue cheese dressing and a small salad, boyfriend had a burger. The bar looked like fun. I highly recommend this place. Shout out to Jake who was really helpful and friendly!

A friend recommended this establishment and we had an exceptional experience. Great food, great drinks and great service. Recommended to all.

Menu and a glass of Margarita

We read that the smash burgers here were delicious so we popped in for lunch and my 35 year old son said it was the best tasting burger he has ever eaten! A new restaurant owner and chef has taken over and is now making this historic hotel's new menu filled with delicious smoked goodness and breakfast choices 7 days a week. The bar area is the authentic saloon style with a great selection of spirits- I had the best margarita on the rocks, that I've had in years! They have live music on weekends and a backyard style patio for dining as weather permits. Friendly and great service. This is a "must go to" in this beautiful old town of Folsom on Sutter. And a free parking lot close by. We're definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Good food. Bartender was really nice and attentive. Came in during the day on a Wednesday so it was quiet. Great location but parking can be an issue. Highly recommend...

Love this place but they should change the hours; usually closed early this time of year(like before 9)!

Closing early always and at discretion of bar tenders that aren't trying to work!!!!! (Before 8:30)

We just came for an after farmers market cocktail and some live music. The guitarist played popular songs that you could sing along to. Drink prices are reasonable. It's self seating. Normally I sit at the bar but there were 3 of us so we grabbed a table. They have a nice patio and allow dogs. Burgers looked good but we didn't eat.

Tried to get the look of the bar without intruding on the other patrons

Unfortunately, this last visit was a total bust. The burger was not the same flavor or quality it used to be. Not sure if there's a new cook or what changed, but it was disappointing for the first time ever. That said, I still love this place and the atmosphere -- it has such an old-school local charm. I honestly miss the old staff and the consistency it used to have. Hoping this was just an off night because I'd really love to see it get back to what made it so great.

I got the bacon on the side for my doggie because I don't eat pork, but it comes with tomato, fried onion straws, lettuce, and pickle. You have the choice between fries, tater tots, onion rings or a salad. Not pictured- the amazing seared ahi tuna salad 10/10 ask for a side of extra dressing. The portion is huge and price is totally worth it as they give you a healthy portion of ahi tuna. I mean this place does not disappoint with the sides or carb options for you burgers. I overheard someone next to me say how amazing the onion rings are and how they often fill themselves up too much on them before their regular meal. I chose sweet potato fries because this is always a better choice. I appreciate the sea salt grinder at the table along with having ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce all tables and ready for me. I really think it's a little annoying when restaurants don't have condiments or salt & pepper shakers out at the table and you have to bother the waiter with yet another request. This burger was cheesy and had all the necessary toppings plus really bomb bbq sauce on it. I added a little sea salt to the sweet potato fries and they tasted perfect. They have new and rotating beers and ciders and so I tried the apricot which was really good- nice that they let you taste before ordering as well. Service was great, everyone was nice and friendly and smiled, and I love the boots, jeans, and western feel of the place. As a dog lover I'm obsessed with alll the doggy pictures there. It made me smile and feel right at home. Can't wait to return when I'm in the area! Thanks for delicious food and great service!

I've watched many people seat themselves at tables and leave 10 minutes later because no one asked them what they wanted. Yes, the decor is stuck in the 90's, but I actually like it. The double smash burger I had was excellent. The bun they use is awesome and they charred the patty perfectly. It tasted way better than Fleming's Prime Steakhouse burger I had last week, that's for sure. The thick steak-cut fries are awesome, too. Over salted but nothing a cold beer can't cut through. Highly recommend their smash burger.

If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers

The happy hour at this spot is pretty great with all draft beers priced at $5-While also having Jameson-Tito's and Cazadores priced also at $5 There are many discounted foods available during happy hour, prices anywhere from $5 to $12. These foods range from pretzels to BBQ meatballs, Fish tacos and pizza. We tried the BBQ meatballs ($6.00) and they were extremely tasty. We also tried some beer from Urban Roots and a few Jameson shots-they both hit the spot. The service at this bar was great, the waitress was super friendly and checked on us multiple times. This place is a typical sports bar scene, with TVs in every direction and many sports to choose from for your viewing pleasure. The waitress told us that on weekends they do show UFC events live, which is always an added bonus. Overall I think this is a stellar sports bar and a great addition to the Folsom area providing an incredible spot to hangout with friends and root for whatever team makes you happy. PS-This bar also features "All-Day" Happy Hour on Sundays-so I can just imagine how incredible that must be on football Sundays in the fall-See Ya Soon.

The owner is an incredibly kind, genuine man from Atlanta who brought authentic Southern barbecue to Folsom, and it shows in every bite. This isn't just another barbecue restaurant; it's the real deal. The beef ribs are my absolute favorite. They're perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Honestly, I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I have yet to find anything that wasn't amazing. Belly Barbecue is in a league of its own, and there's simply nothing else like it anywhere around here. The only downside to Belly Barbecue being so amazing, they run out of food! But that's what happens when you make barbecue this good; people line up for it. My advice: get there early, because once they sell out, they're done for the day.
