Tried this Chinese restaurant today for lunch. Service is friendly but food is way too salty. We have fried calamari, beef chowmein, hot and sour soup and stir fry vegetables. My tongue feels like burning with saltiness...it's not reflecting the the low sodium on ad...place is okay

What a great find for Chinese Cuisine in Folsom! Really nice atmosphere with the relaxing blues/jazz music and the lighting was nice as well. Super comfortable seating and plenty of it. I would consider Folsom Palace a fancier establishment from their menu to their service. They even have black toilets!! The Cashew Chicken was made with white meat, the Thai Basil Beef was very tender and flavorful. The Chicken Chow Mein was also delicious! Price point was a bit high but all things considered, I believe it's worth it. The service was friendly and nice! Definitely repeating visits in the future. Side note, their lunch menu is more affordable and the portions are slightly smaller although it comes with the standard sides like chow mein.

I was in the area for an event so decided to grab dinner here. It was a weeknight so they were not busy. The place was nicely decorated. They have great selections on their menu. I love Chinese food so was kinda hard for me to decide on what to order. I ended up ordering Hong Kong style noodle with beef and Hunan chicken. Both were delicious. Portions were decent. Quality seemed fresh to me. Services were quick and attentive.

    Nice ambiance!

Finally, a very good Chinese restaurant located on Sunrise Blvd. near Madison Ave. Friendly staff, great comfort food. All cooked to order. (No buffet style here!). Go to restaurant for comfort food.

You have to try this place. It's really delicious and if you go during lunch, you get a free soup.. I tried the beef and broccoli with cauliflower with chow mein and I was in love. Very very savory and delicious and I cannot wait to come back to try different dishes. The staff was very attentive and took very good care of us. It's a small little restaurant, but it's cute and decorated nicely.

AWESOME! I went once, and I've been back again and again! I am so happy to have found a good (especially for lunch) Chinese spot! The employees are so nice and friendly. It's clean and happy inside. They have a nice outdoor area for when the weather gets nice. It's on Riley in the same shopping area as Wendy's. Easy to find and easy to park. Everything I have ordered has been delicious, hot and fresh. They use high quality chicken in the chicken dishes. My favorite is the pot stickers! YUM. It's a great place to get a hot lunch for a good price. They have a new loyal customer.

The "handsoap" in the bathroom. I took a picture to show my partner but then we got sick and I wonder if its from lackbof real soap

I hate to say this but it appears the crew working there on sunday evening is a bunch of kids or young adults that dont care about foodborne illiness(or perhaps dont know anything about them.) or their customers they were too invested in their conversations in the kitchen and looking at the guests not actually serving them and laughing about who knows what after im all for having fun while you work but this was just very unprofessional, took far too long to get our food for dine in which is whatever no biggie if they had phone orders or door dashes they cant help that so we brushed it off however the bath gel in the bathroom rather than actual hand soap makes me wonder about the handwashing and cleanliness in the kitchen is like, we did get sick it was only for a small window of time but nonetheless wasn't a pleasant experience. I dont typically like to do this but we've been there many times before and never have had this experience i only want to make this be known for the higher ups to make a change because whatever we got was brutal for that small window of time it affected us and there were elderly people dining in and I hope they didn't suffer the same fate yesterday night like we did.. the food did taste good we were really happy once we got it just wish we didnt get sick from it. We also tried to reach out privately but no luck i dont want anything from this just for the gentlemen there to be more careful and to realize how easy it is to make people ill from food, how easy bacteria spreads , and for them to take a little pride in food provided and service to guests i hope a change is made before the carelessness gets anyone else sick i didnt want to say anything or leave this review but i dont want anyone else to get sick ,it is a favorite spot of ours we only go here as a treat every so often, so were bummed out we had to toss out all of our leftovers out of not knowing what part of the meal made us ill.

Found this gem today on accident. I'm so glad I did. The place is absolutely gorgeous inside. The food was ahhhhmazing, large portions and screamed high quality. The BEST spot stickers I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back!

Wowza! Such an established institution in the heart of Folsom! So, what awaits you here?! Fusion Cuisine with distinct culinary style which integrates Asian and Western ingredients. Take note that they use only the finest, natural and fresh ingredients!! Ever since my grandparents had moved in the Sacramento metropolitan area in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've always made the trek when their cravings kick in for a fresh & healthy meal that boasts of the cuisines of China! I was pleasantly surprised us during our recent visit when we celebrated my grandpa's birthday over the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. The standout dish was undoubtedly the Sesame Chicken, which left our taste buds tingling with its flavorful kick. Additionally, we had our usual orders of Sizzling Rice Soup (a favorite of my grandma) and the Hot & Sour Soup (which my grandfather orders to calm his nerves down LOL) - we also ordered many entrees, and what makes it a great experience is that their dishes have been always consistent! The portions were decently sized, ensuring we left satisfied. What truly elevated our experience was the courteous & friendly staff, who provided attentive service throughout the many times we've visited this place to dine in! Better yet, if you come during the weekdays, they serve reasonably-priced lunch specials that come with soup, salad, and an appetizer! (always opt to get half fried rice and half chow mein, you'll sure thank me about that pro-tip) Overall, Folsom Palace exceeded our expectations, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone passing through Folsom. They have a spacious parking lot shared alongside neighboring businesses, and parking is always easily & readily available. Location may be far from the closest freeway ramp, but if you know your way & familiarize yourself with the local streets of Folsom, you'll eventually get to your destination! Highly recommended, and take note that they two other locations around the Sacramento metro! (Citrus Heights & El Dorado Hills)

My only complaint on this Sunday, June 21st, is that after the initial basket of bread (which had exactly four pieces for the 4 of us) we were told by Reece that the restaurant charges $2.00 for each extra piece of bread! I was shocked, and frankly, it's an insult in my opinion, that Rudy's is so "cheap" about the bread! For all we pay for our dinners, asking for extra bread should not be a problem nor an extra charge! That really is a shame because now I am hesitant to consider bringing friends to Rudy's. I hope management will reconsider its' position on the service of bread.

Absolutely Outstanding -- One of the Best Steakhouses I've Been To!…read more I have eaten at a lot of great steakhouses over the years, and I don't say this lightly: Sutter Street Steakhouse in Folsom is easily one of the better steakhouses I've experienced. I had the ribeye with a lobster tail, baked potato, and mushrooms, and the entire meal was absolutely incredible. The ribeye was tender, juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The lobster tail was excellent, the mushrooms were a perfect complement to the steak, and everything was prepared beautifully. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. We didn't have reservations and ended up eating at the bar, but that turned out to be a great experience. Our bartender was amazing--attentive, professional, personable, and on top of everything. The service was truly second to none. I've eaten at many excellent steakhouses, and Cowboy Star in San Diego has long been one of my favorites. Sutter Street Steakhouse is right there with it. That is a huge compliment coming from me. For this level of food, service, and overall experience, I thought the price was very reasonable. It's certainly not an inexpensive dinner, but for the quality you receive, it is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Sutter Street Steakhouse for an anniversary, birthday, date night, special occasion, or simply when you want an exceptional steak. One piece of advice: MAKE RESERVATIONS! We were fortunate to get seats at the bar, but this place gets busy--and after eating here, I completely understand why. Five stars without hesitation. This was my first experience at a place like this! We enjoyed perfectly cooked calamari as an appetizer, served within minutes of ordering but later, we had a tender petite filet with cheddar potatoes from the special of the day and a delicious 9-ounce prosciutto-wrapped black cod. It came out cold, not warm! Otherwise, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only major downside this evening was that after ordering, the wait for our main course took over an hour to reach our table. We even saw a few tables arrive after us, get served, eat, and leave before we did. We basically arrived and were seated by 5:30 pm. After ordering our food almost right away, it wasn't until around 7:00 pm that the main course arrived, so after dinner, we left around 8 pm. Yikes. Because of that, I'm not sure I would choose this place again because the service is unpredictable, especially with the higher-than-usual prices, or I'd visit on a Friday evening again unless we had plenty of time to kill. I think our waitress felt bad! She was really sweet, apologetic, and trying to smooth things over, though! Other than that, I would say, make reservations way ahead, as they send a helpful text to confirm you are still coming. Dress up a bit, too!

For starters, we ordered French bread with salted butter, calamari with peppers and onions, and beef Wellington. Wow, ALL of these appetizers are exceptional! The fried onions tossed in with the calamari were deliciously sweet! The sauce of the beef Wellington was creamy and the puff pastry hugging the mushroom and beef was the cherry on top for this appetizer! Adam was our server who is kind, funny, attentive, and helped us with all of our menu questions. He checked on us often, making sure we had everything we needed and to make sure everything we ordered looked good and tasted good. Their other staff who brought our food, cleared plates and glasses, and checked on us, added to the excellent Land Ocean service! I asked for the top three menu entrees customers order and with this, Adam convinced me to order the Macadamia Nut Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with coconut jasmine rice and soy-ginger glaze. I ordered spinach sub, instead of the asparagus, due to dietary restrictions. OMG my first fork full brought me back to Honolulu, HI! The macadamia nuts were candied on top of the sea bass, making this the BEST sea bass with macadamia nut dish I have ever eaten outside of HI! My mom took one bite and decided to order this plate for herself because it is THAT rich, sweet, and perfectly balanced with the flavors of the spinach, rice, and sea bass. The sea bass is extremely flaky, to add to why this is my new favorite dish in Land Ocean! My parents gave me their roasted chicken leftovers to take home, since this entree is with generous portions, so I was spoiled with Land Ocean for a meal at home the next day. Popular crab cakes, calamari, wings and more. You cannot go wrong. The customer service remains the best in the restaurant world. Seriously. Long time peeps who are pros. Every single one is incredible. You have their attention from start to finish. Hard workers. Manderes is not fancy. Ambiance is a cool, small, cozy area which includes a bar. Tables and high tops finish out the mix. Cool guitar memorabilia accents the walls and adds a cool vibe. And the juke box! Lotsa happy diners loving it all. Manderes has carved out quite the foodie reputation. It is not to be missed! Thanks, Brent, for providing a sensational community spot to meet, eat and be happy! Definitely locally owned! My lovely waitpersons: Amanda Angi Diego Ian Jen Mo Mandy Tyler Love you all!
