Anyone that says this business is bad in any way is wrong! Staff here is great, always clean, good and hot food. Each time I walk in the door I am greeted with a smile, I am very thankful to work so close to this restaurant. They have great lunch deals and prices in general. Try Wa-Me!!

I loved the wor wonton soup.

This time, I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop in and have lunch in the restaurant itself. It's a nice space, very clean, but I was not overwhelmed with the food. The service was good, and fast. I ordered the oyster sauce chicken from the lunch menu. It came with a small cup of egg drop soup. The soup was very good, but it had a little pieces of tomatoes in it, and the tomatoes tasted like they had been boiled. Not very appetizing at all. The chicken was as I like to say, "extremely just OK." . It tasted good with the oyster sauce, but the chicken was a little tough, and there was way too many onions on the plate. Not only that, but the onions we're not cooked all the way, they were very crunchy and the onions themselves didn't taste very good. You've gotta cook them all the way through! The chow mein that came on the side was just your average Chinese restaurant chow mein. Nothing spectacular. I probably won't order from here again. There are other Chinese restaurants that are much better and a lot less hit and miss. Thanks anyway.

I keep spitting out the chicken. This is terrible. I'm at a loss of $65 on this crap my dog won't even eat. Please close this restaurant.

Won't even feed this to my dog. Disgusting smells awful. Meat is grey tastes worse than dog food. How are they open?

They offer inside or outside dining options. A full bar with tvs displaying various professional sporting events. Two separate multi-user men and women's restrooms. The service was helpful, attentive, and friendly. Clearing dishes when finished. Fat's Wor Won Ton Soup: chicken breast, shrimp, bbq pork, shrimp & pork won ton, vegetables in a chicken broth (4/5). The ingredients were tasty, however, the soup was lukewarm. So, that means the soup was sitting there for awhile before being served to us. Filet Mignon Steak Kew: hand-cut cubed filet mignon with seasonal vegetables, roasted garlic in a black bean sauce (4/5). Very flavorful and delicious. Orange Chicken: with chili orange sauce (4/5). Deep fried piece in a orange with slight hint of heat. Honey Walnut Prawns: glazed with honey sauce, walnuts, sesame seeds (4/5). Slightly crunchy medium sized prawns in a traditional and tasty sauce. The portion size on each dish was large especially the honey walnut prawns and orange chicken. We were all full yet it didn't look like we made a dent into the dishes. 2x Fat's Famous Banana Cream Pie: fresh bananas layered in a rich egg custard and flaky crust, topped with fresh whipped cream (5/5). This was a very tasty pie and probably one of the best behind Ikeda's. We'll be back. Support your local business.

SoCal and the Bay Area are where it's at for Asian food... and Vancouver!! Okay, sorry, I'm rambling now. Anyways, I'm glad I ventured a little farther out to Folsom to grab some delicious food. Their orange chicken is super flavorful, and I loved that they used real oranges. The Kung Pao chicken is amazing--they include a variety of veggies and squash, which I loved. The beef chow mein was on point as well. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the chow mein was a little too soft (though the flavor was there), and the price felt a bit steep for the portion size. Three orders for $60--eeep! I miss the good ol' days when a whole plate was filled to the rim and overflowing from the to-go box for $12-$15, but it is what it is. Anyways, if you've got the dough, I'd spend it here. Have a great day!

Further, they let me stay in their restaurant and finish a work project. I took up a seat and they were nothing but accommodating to me. The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items. I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings. But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes! The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.

The tea was amazing and was great to enjoy while perusing the menu. It's been awhile since we reviewed our go to Chinese restaurant so we set out to try some new dishes as well as old favorites for a fresh rating: Hot Tea - 10 - Lemon Black Tea from a special partner in China. Wonton Soup - 8 - Good flavor in a clear broth. Wonton tastes good but could use more flavor. A solid version of Wonton soup without the frills. Chicken Fried Rice - 8 - Needs a touch of soy sauce amongst other flavors Chicken Chow Mein - 9 - Almost perfect version of the dish. No flavor needed but always room for some pizzazz. Sweet and Sour Pork - 8 - Oerfectly sweetened sauce but the chicken could use a little more crisp and it could use more charred onions, bell peppers and carrots. Honey Walnut Prawns - 9 - Perfectly crisped prawns and toasted candied walnuts (and I don't like walnuts) but slightly over-sweetened sauce. Almost perfect!!! Chicken and Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry Medium Spicy - 7 - Perfectly cooked vegetables and tender chicken but the sauce amd chicken were on the bland side. Great service throughout the dinner but they do tend to stay in the back of the restaurant servicing DoorDash orders so grab their attention when they walk past! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food I honestly don't think they raised prices through COVID / inflation. I'm bumping them up to 4 stars...keep cookin!
