We've been coming here since it opened. Justin always took great care of us and greeted us personally. I have 6 vehicles that get serviced there and never had any complaints. Took my new to me used car in for service, alignment and rotation. Guess what, no more free tire rotations. Oh well. Nice guys but they really don't care about taking care if their good customers, you're just a number now. Asked about the preferred customer card they were advertising, it's free when you buy four tires. Don't go here... They first said our tire repair would cost $25. Then they told us the nail in our tire was unreparable and the only option was to replace all four tires for either $700 or $750... I would only go to them for tires. I had a fuse that needed changed and when I picked up my car, nothing else worked- auto Windows, locks, etc. I took it back and they had somebody look it over. They said their work did not cause this and I would have to take it elsewhere. My friend who knows nothing about cars looked in the fuse box and they had switched all my fuses into wrong spots. He switched them back and everything worked again. Scary that they would deny responsibility and not know a fuse box. read more

Went in for a new set of tires last week. When I got the call to pick up was told that if I wanted the new tires aligned I needed to pay $316 to have a new tie rod installed. I picked up the car and drove it over to Folsom Lake Ford to get a second opinion. Turns out, no pun intended, tie rod was fine and Folsom Lake Ford was able dial in the alignment and also provide a readout of the alignment specs. Make your own judgements. read more

Tire pros' honesty and customer service is unbeatable. Today I discovered a U shaped stake in one of my back tires. I called tire pros, and they said to bring it in and they would fix it for free. During inspection, they notified me that my two front tires are bald as an eagle and need to be replaced immediately. That bit of info, I already knew, so I had already ordered a new pair of tires UNFORTUNATELY not from tire pros. Eddie (I'm assuming a manager) was still so polite, and still fixed my flat for FREE with no funny business. I will forever trust this shop. Being a younger female, I'm usually taken advantage of in the auto industry, but tire pros has never ever taken advantage. They are so honest, friendly and provide high quality service. Bought my tires at Costco, but service after that is horrible at Costco. Good luck getting an appt there for a rotation. I told them I needed the alignment check and tires rotated and that Costco didn't have the time to help. They did a rotation and alignment check for free. Overall, a good experience. I've had oil changes and other minor service on three different vehicles. The service, waiting area, and online appointment website were very good. My only concern is that every time I've been there, I'm told my car has hundreds of dollars of work that need to be done. I know upselling is common in the car service/repair world, and my cars may eventually need the work, but I'm not convinced they are 100% honest. read more

When buying performance tires there, all sweetness and light. When getting them rebalanced, wheels on my BMW were over-torqued with an air wrench. Took a 36" breaker bar and my considerable mass to get them off for brake fluid change and bleeding. No way did they use a torque wrench - avoid. read more

I had received an estimate for work on my vehicle that was approximately $1800. They determined that it was a brake issue. I had it repaired elsewhere (at a vastly lower cost) as I felt something was wrong with their estimate and even suggested they look at what I thought was wrong. They obviously did not drive it or they would have identified the wheel bearing issue that could not be missed. The brake parts they felt needed replacement were in good condition as were the other issues they felt were in need of repair. It makes me wonder if the repairs I already had them do were even necessary and that I was already ripped off. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I do not recommend this business and will not return. read more

I just had to toot these guys horn. This was my second time in and Eddie went above and beyond to take good care of me. I got an alignment and rotation. Since it was going to take about an hour I popped in the nail salon and got a pedicure. Well my vehicle was finished early and Eddie came over and kindly rang me out so I could enjoy my pedi. Parked & locked my vehicle and brought me my receipt and key. What an awesome experience, I will be back! Best part? The ladies in the nail salon says he's done that for several customers. I've been coming here for years, always had great experiences until today. Made an appointment for 11am, usually they offer fast service. Today it took almost 5 hours for a simple oil change. When I asked why today was different than usual, I was told sometimes it's busier on days with more appointments (totally understandable, but almost 5 hours?). Later I was told that somehow they put two other cars that came in AFTER me in front of me.. the reasoning for this? "Not quite sure why that happened". No apology, no compensation. Nothing. After today, I realized they obviously don't care about giving loyal customers good service and I will never go back. read more

I would not recommend this shop for any automotive repair. I travel the country doing construction and I was having issues with my air conditioner in my pickup not blowing cold enough air in the middle of the 100° plus temperatures On Saturday they told me to bring it in and they could get right on it it set there for 5 hours and they never got to it I then made an appointment for Wednesday and took it in at 8 a.m. They quoted me a price of $29 to check the pressure levels when I took it in it was blowing semi cold air When they called me a couple hours later giving me an estimate of $1,100 . They stated my clutch on the compressor was bad and the high pressure Inlet was also bad This was clearly fraudulent and not true as it had freon in it when i took it in ,which they took all out it was semi working and when I picked it up it was empty of freon not blowing any cold air. I do most of my own mechanic work and have for 40 years I know when I'm being b.s.ed Simply put if it was working mediocre when I took it in and not working at all when I picked it up.... then the conclusion is clear they made it inoperative and wanted to bill me an astronomical bill for something that it didn't need... You draw your own conclusions from the facts of what happened to me and if you choose to use them good luck. read more

Went in for a wheel alignment last week. They said I needed a new control arm and ball joint - estimated cost was $600. A day later I went to the dealer. Let them know that I was told I needed new front end suspension parts. The dealer did the alignment and confirmed I didn't need new suspension parts. Those are the facts. My feeling while waiting for my car was that almost all customers were learning of additional things that needed to be done to their car ... for more $$. read more

I needed 4 new tires and they had the best prices so I took my car in to them. They were super friendly, helpful, honest and provided a quick service. I like that they were able to do an alignment there as well since other places couldn't do that. They also offer to rotate you tires for free after so many miles is out on them. I went in with what i thought was squeaky brakes. They took a look and said it wasn't the brakes it was something in the drive shaft, most likely the U joints and I'd have to bring it back when i could leave it with them longer. I asked for an estimate, he didn't give me one in writing but he said if it was the U joints it would be $360 plus the brakes. And I said, "I thought you said it wasn't the brakes". He explained that my pads were down to the last mm and needed to be replaced. The rotors were good but wouldn't be if i went through the pads. Ok, i said, how much would that be. He said $130. So a couple of days later after coordinating rides from friends, i dropped off the car at 8am. No one called me during the day to give a more precise estimate, no one called to tell me when it would be ready. I had a friend take me down before closing because i had to have my car. Luckily they were just wrapping up on the repairs. Then when he told me the cost it was $570+ instead of $490 quoted!! I asked why based on the $360 and $130. He said the brakes were $250, they are always $250! Then why did he quote me $130?!? I told him i was an accountant and never forgot numbers. He just shrugged like 'oh well'. I told him they should have given me a written estimate and should have called me when they knew the actual cost BEFORE doing the work so we could have had the conversation earlier. I paid the bill as I had no choice but i will never go back. Very unprofessional, and i do NOT like surprises. I gave them two stars instead of one because there is no more squeaking. I came here for an oil change. They put 100% synthetic oil in my car without asking. I haven't transitioned to synthetic oil in the past because of the price point difference. They ended up charging me 98 dollars for a simple oil change. Admittedly it was on me for not getting a quote before they started, but I was still horrified by the finish price. They said part of the price was rotation and checking my tires, a service I did not request or desire. I am very upset with the survive I received. I could have had my oil changed with synthetic oil or mixed for half the price elsewhere. They up-charged me and upgraded my oil without my permission, which is immoral and illegal. Don't go here. I came in at 9AM to get an inspection. They took my car in, and ended up doing an oil change. That took them a good 3 hours. They then tell me that my car needs to go through the inspection. They didn't get my car in for the inspection until 4:45PM. They had a slow morning and had every opportunity to do the inspection. I'm very irritated. I came to Tire Pros with a pretty challenging assignment: mount 245/40/15 tires on a 7" wide rim! Those of you that know about wheels and tires will no doubt have two thoughts: 1) well that's "silly" - a 245 wide tire should go on an 8-9" wide rim 2) its gonna be "difficult" to mount the tire - especially if it has stiff side walls. (I'll let the reader embellish words in quotes) Tire Pros said, "will you give us some time on them?" I said "Sure!" and when I came back a few hours later, they were mounted. So I really wanted to like this place but after some time since picking up my car I've had some time to go over the work that was done. My first issue was I was told my car would be done in the better part of the day, then waited to all day for them to tell me the parts never arrived and it wouldn't be ready till the next day, then when I got there the next day it was the same story, they sent the wrong parts. I understand this isn't always the fault of the repair shop but a good lesson to learn in customer service is under promise and over deliver. if you don't know for 100% sure that you can get something done in one day don't say it! For people like myself who live very out of the way from services it's extremely frustrating to have to sit around for four or five hours only to be told sorry your parts are not here and can you bring your car back next week? Furthermore, when I asked them to check my coolant system because my car was overheating he said " sure will look into it ". However when I picked up my car I literally had to ask him (he did not offer it up openly) if they had checked it out he said sorry we couldn't do it because there's a leak in your coolant reservoir, that was 100% not true. my other mechanic looked at the car everything in that department was perfect and in excellent condition, what was broken was the water pump. I was simply lied to to get me out of the shop. I understand I have an older complicated car but again if you can't work on it or you don't want to work on it, say so, don't blow smoke up my ass! I have to say the guy that works at the front desk is real good at it but you can sense the contempt and irritation in his pretend smiles a fake nice attitude attitude however the work that was done in the suspension was done fine so I won't give them one star but I would definitely recommend going somewhere else where people are more honest understand customer service and don't pretend to know what they're talking about. read more

I went in to to see why my car was making a certain noise. Turned out the rotors needed to be replaced and the break pads needed to be changed. I got all of the rotors changed, and left with brand new brake pads. They had great customer service. However, about 2 or 3 weeks later, my brakes were squeaking. I took my car in to see why that was since I had just gotten the break pads changed. They said that they didn't hear anything. This is a little ridiculous because those brakes squeaked every day and almost every time I used them. I don't understand why they simply told me that they didn't hear anything and sent me on my way. I thought maybe the sqeaking was temporary after this visit, and that it would go away. It didn't. Now I need to find another shop to take my car to - in hopes that they won't tell me that they don't hear anything and send me off like Tire Pros did. read more

It only takes one bad experience to ruin a nice relationship. Small oil leak tighten clamp. Still leaking needs this. Still leaking it needs this this then they call and estimate goes from 150 ish to 350 ish. Replace oil pan. Told them I've never heard of oil pan needing replacement without damage they said same thing. Ok then leaking more now. Bring it back now new estimate is $1000. I asked Eddie (great service guy) to find out why we needed to replace the oil pan he was out to lunch when I went to pick the car up so asked Milo to have him call me. Never heard from them. I guess I could call back but I'll have to take my 3 cars elsewhere and spend the $1000 with another shop. Disappointing because I've been going there since they opened or took over that location. read more

I have now taken three vehicles in for service, and the shop has been great. Got a set of tires for one car at the exact price Costco charged for the same tire. I was a walk-in. They took my van in, found the problem, got the needed part brought it and I was out within 2 hours. Most comfortable waiting area EVER for an auto repair shop! Liars. I was having issues with my air conditioning. The car would blow cold air for 10 minutes, then warm air for 10 minutes and back to cold. I read up on the issue and it appeared the system needed to be charged. I brought my car to Folsom Tire Pros and asked for an AC service after explaining my problem. They inspected the vehicle and called me with an estimate. $852.00 because the AC compressor was needing to be replaced, the belt was worn and the system would need to be charged. I told them no and picked up my car after paying $30 inspection fee. I took the car to another local shop and told them what was wrong and what Folsom Tire Pros said. After their inspection, they were amazed to find the compressor was completely fine. As was the belt. The second shop charged the system and everything works perfectly now. $60 out the door. Folsom Tire Pros is another dishonest, rip you off, repair shop that should not be used by anyone. People work hard for their money and this place tries to steal it from you. read more
