Bought new tires a couple months back from another tire shop and that night there was a wheel vibration. Took it back the nest day for them to balance them again. The balance lasted about a day and was out again. Called Folsom Tire Pros and talked to Milo. I got my truck there 45 min. before they closed. I'm sad to say that my husband and I would not come here again for an oil change. The price was extremely high and when we came to pick the car up it had not been vacuumed or wiped down at all. For the price we paid we could have gotten two oil changes somewhere else where they would have vacuumed the car and wiped down the windows. read more

I called around to about four different places looking to get my brakes looked at and repaired. Every other place i looked at wanted to go straight into replacing without even looking at the brakes. They put my car up, and soon enough I had a full diagnostic and the thirty point inspection for free. They showed me the measurements of each part of the brake pads, gave me their recommendations, and then set off to put new brake pads on. It was smooth sailing, a very professional staff and service inside. The best part, when I compared their price to other vehicle places in Folsom, I ended up saving about $120 on parts and labor. read more

I am very disappointed in the service of this establishment. I brought my car in for a simple oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection. The representative seemed helpful and there was an adorable dog. Seemed like such a honest, family owned place. They said they could get started right away but I sat for about 15 min and it was still in the parking lot. I decided to get a pedi in the same parking lot to kill the time. Came back an hour later and it still wasn't ready. Sat for about another 25 min. Got it done then he proceeded to try and tell me I need a new battery, all new tires, full rear brake job in addition to the regular maintenance I was there for. So I went and bought all the stuff. Battery really was needed. Took my tires off and my brakes were all completely fine (pads&rotors). I even checked the front to see if it was a mistake. He blatenly lied and put 2mm down. I feel he thought I don't know what I'm talking about but I work on my own cars. Glad I saved myself $500+ NEVER AGAIN . Hopefully he doesn't drag the whole business down... read more

Worst experience, total liars. Went in with my 08 car for a tire repair, or worst case replacement. Tire went flat overnight, no visible damage. FTP dunked the tire and said the stem needed replacement..but they said car is 10 years old..btw only 50,000 miles on this car, and they would only sell a new tire...then said well you need to replace all 4 for...$547. Smelled BS..Went across the street to Americas Best Tires. Dunked it, repaired the stem and off I went. NICE TRY OVERSELLING ME. Such crap!! Stay faaaaar away. (Insert sarcasm here) After going to the dealership, who told me my tire was "fine", I came here for a 2nd opinion and am SO PLEASED with the caliber of customer service. I was in the market for four new tires and had been checking several Folsom shops for estimates/quotes, I decided to go with Tire Pro's. I dealt with Wade V. both days, who was AMAZING. To be honest, he's the main reason I decided to go with this shop. Wade is personable, knowledgeable, gives options, and made me completely at ease. The entire process took about 2.5 hours (new tires and alignment) and $600.00. The waiting area provides entertainment (TV and magazines), cold bottled water, hot coffee, and very comfortable reclining chairs. We took it back AGAIN and they said it's a new problem (yeah right) and wanted another $1,000. If you value your automobile DO NOT EVER TAKE IT TO Folsom Tire Pro's. They are the most unprofessional organization that will not stand behind damage that was caused and admitted to by the Service Counter personnel during the installation of my front tires. Robert, the Service Counter person met me outside the shop when I dropped the truck off and we looked over the truck. It is an extremely customized GMC Sierra and Robert was admiring and commenting about the truck being lowered and the custom exhaust system that was installed etc. I told him that I wanted the new tires installed on the front at that time. I left my truck with them and he said that it would be ready early afternoon. Around 10:30 I received a call from Robert asking me how to let the air pressure off my airbags on the back of my truck? I told him that there was an onboard compressor and the controls were below the steering wheel on the dash and asked why? Robert said that they had put my truck on the lift to change the tires and needed to let the pressure out. When I didn't hear anything back them by 3:30 I called and they told me that it wouldn't be ready until just before 5:00. When I showed up at the shop at 5:00 they were still working on it and being evasive about why it was taking so long. Finally, Robert told me that when they put the truck up on the rack, they did not support the rear wheels and had exploded the top seal on my airbag on the right side rear. He said that they had managed to repair it and get a metal ring back on the top and that it was holding pressure. He told me as I was paying for it that if there was any problems to give him a call. Well, after the truck sat overnight, all of the air had leaked out of the bags. I called Robert back and he apologized and said that he was going to call around to see about getting it taken care of for me. After a week, I had not heard anything back from Folsom Tire Pros so I called and asked for Robert and was told that he was busy and would call me back. This went on for two days and finally on the third day, Justin Breaux the store manager called me back and was very rude saying that I had not disclosed to them that there was airbags on the truck therefore they were not responsible for any damages. I told him that Robert and I had walked the truck before it went into his shop and talked about the customization and also that I specifically wanted the new tires on the front so there was no anticipation of anything being done except to the front of the truck. Justin told me that the airbags were installed wrong and that there should have been a safety chain installed to keep the rear wheels from over-extending the airbags which also meant that they were not responsible. I told Justin that I have had airbags on my truck for 12 years and had put many sets of tires all the way around on it in the past and have never had to "disclose" to any tire shop that I had airbags on it and have never had a problem. I got in touch with the airbag manufacturer/distributor at Hellwig Enterprises (Cliff Smith) and was told that you would never install a chain of any kind as Folsom Tire Pros was claiming as it would inhibit and possibly damage the springs in the suspension. They also said that if anything were to be installed but rarely are, it would be what is called a "limiting strap" and in his opinion, Folsom Tire Pros should honor their mistake. I also visited three of Folsom Tire Pro's competitors, approaching them the same way I did Folsom Tire Pro's and all three indicated that since the truck was obviously customized and lowered, a complete inspection would take place looking for airbags or any other custom components were installed prior to any lifting. I gave Justin every opportunity and even told him that I may be forced to leave a negative comment on YELP and he told me that he didn't care. I told him that I will never step foot in his shop again and I will be sure to alert anyone that I can as well ..... please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my experience as I would be more than happy to share and keep anything like this from happening to any other unsuspecting customers out there. I hate writing this review but unfortunately, I have to give them a less than wonderful rating. I have been taking 2 cars to them ever since they opened up and the last two visits have not been good. When Justin was there, the attitude was GREAT. Professional and friendly and I felt they wanted to take care of me and my cars. Not anymore. This last visit, they called and said they had to fix a bearing on an item that they had worked on last time for $700. So another $150 for something that should have been caught last time but apparently wasn't. This was the second time I thought things were not right. They had been taking care of my Hyundai while it was still under warranty. Then the first visit after the warranty expired, conveniently it needed $600 worth of work that WOULD have been covered by the warranty. I felt that if I had been taking it to the dealership, they would have caught that and fixed it under warranty. Instead I paid $600. Back to this last visit to top it off, I pay and take the car home, park in the driveway, and the oil is dripping out under the car like crazy. Turn around and go back and find out gee whiz, the oil filter had a nick in the seal so it was leaking. Woulda thought they might look at that before they finish to see oil is running out of it. Guess not. It is so convenient to me but I doubt if I will every return. They are not what they used to be. read more

I took my TOYOTA Tacoma to tire pros for a simple oil change. The service guy writing it up looked at my account and told me there was a note to not roll down the driver's side window. When I went to pick my truck up I was told that the mechanic had rolled the driver's side window down and couldn't get it back up. He had to take apart my door in order to get the window up. I got home and tried to roll my window down (it is a power window) it wouldn't work. I called tire pros, they said they disconnected the motor for the window. They forgot to tell me. I had to bring it back the next day to have it reconnected. They had to take my door apart again. About a month later we had some rain. The driver's door leaked so bad that it flooded the whole driver's side floorboard and the carpet.It took 3 days to dry it out. I called tire pros and talked to the owner, Paul Fuller. He said they would fix the door leak. I took it back. When I picked it up I asked the manager, Eddie if they tasted it, he said it was to me. It rained again and leaked again. I took it back again. When I picked it up, again I asked if they tested it, Eddie said no. I took my truck to the carwash and it leaked again. I called tire pros again and told Eddie that the door leaked again. Eddie said he would talk to Paul and find out what to do. The end result was Paul the owner felt they had done everything to fix the door and would not do anymore. At this writing my door still leaks. I was assured by Paul the owner that they would fix the leak. On top of all this, not once did Eddie ever apologize for my inconvenience. I gave 1 star because I can't give negative stars. read more

The prices were more than reasonable & I was given explanations that I could understand regarding repairs needed now & repairs that could wait til later. How I found Folsom Tire Pros? New in town, motor on window went out, winter and raining and oh no, I don't have a mechanic yet. There they were, the first shop I found. This is one of the most difficult parts of moving to a new area, especially when single and, well, among the elder! They took care of it for me and I was so impressed with their customer service I decided to check out their reviews which I found to be good and take my car in again for servicing. I would purposefully ask customers in the waiting room how long they'd been bringing their car to Tire Pros/ Folsom and their experience with them. Not ever a complaint, nothing but good feedback. Over three years later, here I am still taking it in for everything! I have been to Folsom Tire Pros twice now, once in search of tires and once to get an alignment. I have a car that is a complete pain the a** to work with since it is lowered a significant amount with stretched tires and just in general a lot of modifications that make it a hard car just to get up on the reack. I have dealt with Wade Vetter both times that I was in and it is clear to see that he is a true honest person and is always looking out for the customer. Due to the fact that my car has some tricky things to overcome just to get it off the ground he always makes sure to have me check things out and tell me the worries and possible difficulties up front. I have numerous great things to say but the last thing I will say refers to some previous poor reviews. I know that everyone won't have the same exact experience but I have never been overcharged or had any try to talk me into coming back for unnecessary reasons and I know for a fact that they wouldn't have to try hard to find something that could use some TLC on my car. Wade warned me of easy, free fixes to do at home and I left extremely satisfied with my experience and I can confidently say that the whole crew at Folsom Tire Pros are good people and gave my car the respect it deserved while they worked on it. I've had my car here for oil changes and tire rotations in the past with great service. However, recently I brought it in for brakes. Rick did a free inspection, walked me through everything and ordered parts all within 30 minutes. He offered to drive me home while we waited for parts, but since they have wifi I opted to work there while they fixed my car. He was open and honest with me and even gave me the coupon price on the repair. He saved me some money by doing extra inspection and finding I didn't need a part he thought I might originally have needed. I was even offered lunch twice by his very respectful son and I'm assuming a grandfather who was there. These are the types of small businesses we need to be supporting in our community. I will continue to bring my vehicles here and I trust their work and service. read more

Awesome customer service! Came in to install a used tire bought somewhere else but find out it's unusable and unrepairable. They actually pulled the tire out and inspected the damage without extra charge. Eddie recommended to call and return the tire where I bought it for a replacement. Received the replacement tire and Tire Pros reinstalled the tire without appointment. I even received a follow up call from Marc to make sure I am satisfied with their service. read more

A few weeks ago I had my tires rotated in Cameron Park and returned today due to a leaking tire. They told me "I needed new tires" and refused to repair them. The other workers had not mentioned it when the prevous work was done (we recently had to buy a full set of tires there when my husband went in for a tire change last month, making me even more suspicious). I was frustrated, so I drove to Tire Pros, where I had not been in years. They were extremely helpful, repairing the leaky tire at no charge. Not only were they able to help me without charging me, their customer service was outstanding. Everyone I encountered at Tire Pros was exemplary in their service and trustworthy (due to my realization of items I had left in the car that were there when I returned) throughout the entirety of the transaction. I have been taking our 2 vehicles here for 2 years. Originally I thought they were an oil change/tire place only (from their name). I was surprised to find they service quite a bit more than that. I have had my vehicles serviced from routine oil changes (with free 5 tire rotation even though I didn't buy the tire from them) to minor repairs. full synthetic oil changes is what got me in the door initially. They have always been MUCH cheaper than any other place I have gone for a full syn oil change. Both my vehicles are pushing 10 years old so maintenance is key. Most recently I had to have my vehicle towed because of a problem with my ignition switch. The team here has always been helpful. Their estimates have always been reliable and Wade and Eddie have always been up front with me on any diagnosis. They also keep me updated regularly when they have my vehicle. I have lived in the area for less than 5 years and I am very happy to have found an auto repair shop that I feel I can trust. I see lots of reviews referring to previous staff. I have not had any experience with anyone besides Eddie and Wade. Both have been a pleasure to work with. read more
