It's a pretty solid smash burger, self ordered and within 5 minutes the food was ready. I like the meat to cheese ratio, and the bun was nicely toasted. Wilshire location had more pick up orders as opposed to the one in Hollywood that we go to where people dine in. Plaza has valet parking, but we parked on the street.

Came back and this time I ordered for take away!! Honestly it didn't disappoint. It was packed well and all the things I expected were there - flavor, texture and the crispiness of the fries! I do live about 10-15 minutes away from home without traffic and I got to dive into eating this yummy burger not too long after getting home so the food didn't get soggy. Not sure if that is an issue with how they packed everything. Will have to assess when ordering delivery. Really good natural real burger tasting burger!!

I've had a burger from For the Win the grand central market location and I've said it one so I'll say it again. For the Win is a top 3 smash burger restaurant in Los Angeles hands down. The burgers are crafted to perfection and are topped with fresh ingredients. I don't know if they use short rib beef or refined ground beef, but the burger patties are smashed so thin that you could eat a triple or a quad and not feel overwhelmed. The service was excellent, i received my meal swiftly and was able to eat before I went to my final destination. I also enjoyed a chocolate milkshake that was a flavorful pleasant treat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance on the inside is very chill, they have plenty of seating and TVs where you can sit and enjoy your meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will continue to visit For the Win when craving a smash burger.

I was pretty excited to come here based on all the hyped that this place has + the good rating this particular location had. My friends and I came on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty empty. I wish the photos on the kiosk actually lined up with what you actually get for that burger. Don't look at the photos and just base your decision on the description! I ended up getting a cheeseburger with sauce on the side and fries. The cheeseburger was good. It doesn't come with any veggies aside from pickles, so if that matters to you, you should be able to add that to your order for an additional cost. Overall, the burger felt really dry. The sauce definitely helped it, but I feel it was still pretty dry in comparison to other smash burgers that I had. The fries were nice and crispy though! I also just wished they had some tap water available, but only water bottles for purchase were available.

WAY OVERSALTED. did the burger guy/girl forget to use the sifter on the salt and just pour it on my burger? ordered the double cheeseburger online for pickup to try FTW for the first time. after hearing so many good things about this place, what a disappointment. if salted properly, maybe a 3.5. i've had a better cheeseburger at johnny's in west adams that's similar in flavor profile. WITHOUT THE SALT. spent $13 to be salt bombed here. fries were acceptably salty but wish they had a no salt option online. i liked the taste of their frying oil. hopefully, this was a one time thing, but total SALT BOMB. BLEH. i have to go hydrate and apply lip balm to my parched lips. needless to say, I didn't finish the burger. i'd only come back to order in person or on the phone to specifically tell them to HOLD THE DAMN SALT. holy, sweet salt Jesus. did i mention salt?!!?!?

The worst service. No one says hello. They are all behind the far counter. I've waited for a ready takeout order for 10 minutes and had to flag down multiple people. Things are on the menu that you can't order online so if you try to order in person it's a 20 min prep difference. read more

The smash burgers were good, but I wouldn't say they were the best. I wouldn't feel the need to come back immediately. The jalapeños were pickled, not fresh, and the fries didn't taste fresh either; we could see them just sitting under a heat lamp. This is hands down my favorite smash burger in LA. (I've tried Burger She Wrote, Burgers Never Say Die, Heavy Handed, Easy Street, Chris& Eddys, Apple Pan) I was so happy to see they opened up in Koreatown! The burger is the same taste as the OG Hollywood location. I hope they have plans for a liquor license because I miss the beer pairing options offered in Hollywood but not Ktown. read more

I don't know why this spot is so empty because they literally have one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten in my life. Even the bun is delicious. The service was on mute status nobody greeted us. Two people working the kitchen. We ordered through a kiosk at the counter. If you want water you must buy a bottle water which was ridiculous. I ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts which were burned and swimming in balsamic dressing. Not enjoyable. My son seemed to enjoy his burger. The young lady who brought out our food said zero to us. This was my first time trying For the Win! I got a single smash burger with everything on it (grilled onion, pickles, sauce) plus bacon! The super smashed crispy patty was somehow still juicy and had a ton of flavor, I wished I was capable of eating a double, good portion of bacon and a huge portion of pickled jalapeños, I couldn't finish them all! The regular French fries were a 10/10 for me, they reminded me of a restaurant I always go to when I go home to Chicago, so the nostalgia factor might make me a little biased! BUT, perfect texture in my opinion, crispy and firm on the outside, soft on the inside, not a soggy or burnt fry in sight, someone else might think it's a cheap type of fry but I love them. Only note I have that knocked my rating down is probably the size of the burger, the presentation made me question it a little, and the bun could've been toasted, otherwise a very satisfying experience Definitely would eat here again read more

Got them for delivery today and the food was great EXCEPT everything was super cold when they arrived (I live in Ktown btw, around 1 mile away). I understand there could be many factors for this but the packaging was very lacking (fries were completely uncovered) and something they should definitely improve on. read more

We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. The ham for a baguette and butter sandwich and the mortadella to used with another type of bread I got. The meats were neatly sliced and packaged and the service was quick. I really am a huge fan of this place.
