They are known mostly for the burgers, so that's where I've gone. My go-to there is the Estate Burger - Smoked Gouda Cheese, Sweet Red Onion Marmalade, Arugula, Tomato, Crispy Onion Straws, and White Truffle Bacon Aioli on a Brioche Bun. Today was the day, I FINALLY got to try to new Burger Spot in town ! Let me tell you what, pulling up and parking this restaurant sure does have some curb appeal. Walking in the crowd sees like a mix between family's and people of all ages. You can't miss the big ford truck in the front definitely adds to the aesthetic of the restaurant. The employees walk around in mechanic like uniforms. Super Cute! I had the pleasure of having Jasmyn as my server. Best service I've had in awhile. She was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested that I get the Don's Mom and that didn't disappoint. I took my daughter and she ordered the kids cheese burger that came out super fast. Which is great when you have a hungry 8 year old right out of taekwondo practice. I was able to relax while enjoying their version of " Spicy Shrimp" and a cold beverage before heading off to the local ball field for baseball practice. This will be our new spot for delicious cheese burgers of all types and ice cold beer. Very yummy! Oh and at night the whole building is lit up with blue lights! Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. The wait for seating would not have been an issue, had there not been a wait for the food as well. Happy to have a local Ford's Garage! Tonight was our first visit to Oviedo and enjoyed watching all the amazing employees working through the chaos. Had some interaction with Gracie and Jackson (servers) before we got a seat at the bar which was quite pleasant. Megan was our main server at the bar and we watched her juggle so much with the most professional and calm demeanor we have ever seen Had some interaction with the Opening Trainers...Bill was personable and attentive; David was very focused on being the cool guy and didn't have much time to ensure we knew how the Ford Garage returning customer program worked. We never expect the food to be amazing during opening week with large crowds and new employees.. this part of our review will not deter from giving them a second shot; mostly because of the amazing staff. The Philly cheese burger was cooked perfectly, but the cheese was DEFINITELY Velveeta and NOT pepper jack; the onions and peppers were great. Brisket Ranchero Roaster was also cooked perfectly, but the brisket was sooooo DRY. All in all it's definitely worth a second visit! read more

I have been to other Fords Garage before and have been happy with the food as well as the service. I thought I would be happy to have one in my neighborhood but this may be a one and done for me. I went with my husband and we sat at the bar, our waiter was below average to be kind. My turkey burger was cold and tasteless. I ate it without complaining because I was hungry and wanted to leave already. My husband had the bison burger which he also described as tasteless. This place is very expensive as dinner for two without drinks except water and 1 appetizer was 50 bucks. Could have gone to Five Guys in the same parking lot for much less. The atmosphere is sports bar like with the accents of being in a car shop. That's a good look as employees are dressed like mechanics and their napkins are shop rags. They have televisions throughout and a full bar. Tables are very close to one another with open floor seating - I don't recall seeing a booth. Menu was full of appetizers and entrees alike so you definitely have your choice. There is a place outside for to go orders but you funny have access to the full menu. Even stranger is the table and chairs that are not actually for dining or so we were told. I grabbed a pretzel and we ate burgers as our first visit. Burger was presented well with their logo burned into the bun. It was not short in size or taste but the accompanying fries you could count and that's always a turn off! Especially when they come with a hefty $4.50 price tag. I will give them another shot to try another menu item but I may need a gift card. read more

Tried to eat here today at 4;30pm on a Thursday. The restaurant was not even close to full. Lots of empty tables. We approached 3 hosts at the host stand and were told there would be a 15 minute wait! Ridiculous. No managers in sight and we walked out. The workers didn't care at all about losing the revenue and potentially losing a customer for life. Their nonchalant attitude was enough to make us never return. There was no explanation but if the issue was not enough servers, then maybe consider hiring more servers and less hosts! Don't need 3 of them to stand around and stare blankly at potential customers. We ended up going to Five Guys which is just across the e parking lot. They said this happens a lot... they get a lot of customers who are not willing to wait to be seated at the "new burger place". read more

When I asked the waitress she said she was waiting for the bar!!! Not that many people in there!! Not sure what that meant!!! Our table was very wobbly so I asked if they had a wedge to stabilize it. She came back with coasters and said "here, try this"!!! I went to eat and had to fix my own table!! Lol. We order food and my wife's order wasn't even close to the way she order her burger!!! While I enjoyed the food, there were a few major service flaws that kind of ruined it for me #1: I wanted to order the Patty Melt, but the server said it was not a burger. It's on the burger menu? She said it isn't patty. PATTY melt? #2: I really didn't want a huge 1/2 lb burger, the menu provided was difficult to even open, so I asked about a smaller burger. The server said they were all half pound (I see now your online menu says there are third pounders?). #3: I asked if you could sub onion rings instead of fries, the server said of course. However, she failed to mention there was an upcharge. Surprise at check time. #4: When paying premium price for a soda, I expect at least an offer of a refill. Fords garage is a great place for family dinners. Our server Madi was amazing. Had a smile on her face from the moment she came to greet us, which was literally 10 seconds after we were sat. She asked if we ever came here before and when she found out it was our first time, she gave us a little background on fords. Our food came out pretty quickly. I got the ahi tuna and it was scrumptious. My family got the Mac n cheese and standard burger. Mac n cheese was so delicious, even just as a side it's great portions. The only reason I docked a star was because of pricing. This place is expensive for this type of food. I will be returning for special events though. read more
