We reached at 10:05pm on Sunday evening and it clearly says that closing time is 10:30 pm ..we entered the place as door was open and the server lady blankly just said "we are closed".. don't know what exactly to comment when it still was 25 min in closing and she's just not going to serve even for take away. This place has limited options for frozen yogurt flavors, but many options for toppings. I always rate my frozen yogurt based on the cookie dough, and this place far exceeds many others. Not only do they have the balls from, but soft cookie dough in many flavors. This place provides any toppings and sauces you could imagine and I highly recommend, we go all too often! read more

Full disclaimer. I did not even go into this place. So I have no idea how their yogurt is. Or even their customer service. However. Friday night. 7pm. You would think this place would be hopping. One employee at the counter. WHERE THEY SERVE OUT FOOD FROM. Standing there. Looked like he was dancing to music or something. But he was EATING FOOD OUT OF A TAKE OUT BOX. Like major big bites out of a take out box with a fork. I think I even saw food fall out. Onto the counter where it's clear they serve food from. And the cups they put yogurt there are stores nearby. So , I WONT ever get to know if their yogurt or customer service is any good. Because that was a huge gross turn off. Pretty standard Forever Yogurt if you've been to others in the city. This happens to be my go-to one given the proximity to my house. I just can't get over how quickly the cost adds up. I wish they'd offer smaller cups so you're not inclined to fill up the only size they have and then they charge you $15. read more

This location was in Boystown and centrally located which was convenient. I love frozen yogurt and since I am gluten free and dairy free I am always limited on what I can get from these places. There was one flavor with guava and something else that I did not get but if I were to have gotten something that would have been the flavor I chose. It was right across the taco place that everyone raves about. My husband ate at it and had nothing but amazing things to say about it. The amount per ounce is going up everywhere so it isn't something that I can pick on Forever Yogurt on about. I am crazy about frozen yogurt. I've basically had every single flavor from every single froyo franchise and mom-and-pop shop. But forever yogurt has maintained my loyalty because it's abundance of different flavors. They are always changing their flavors and bring back the favorites. My absolute favorites are the euro tart, Italian ice, green apple, and pomegranate raspberry. There are so many more I can list but those are just a few. In addition to the flavors, the toppings are delicious too. They always keep their toppings area as clean as they can and greet me when I walk in. I come here a lot. Before this place, I never quite understood the froyo craze. I mean, we can all agree that ice cream is better, right? However, there is one thing that froyo places have that, for whatever reason, ice cream places do not: the business sense to be open after ten. For real, though, ice cream is dessert. I want it after dinner. After dinner is sometimes late on the weekends. Why you close at 7?!?! But froyo, froyo is there for me after dinner. Froyo is there for me after I drink too much on a Friday at 11. And it has started to grow on me, it still doesn't hold a candle to ice cream flavor wise, but I see the benefits. The top your own idea is awesome (Coldstone kinda does this, but is way more expensive and not as fun). The flavors tend to be pretty good. It's a little bit healthier. It melts WAY too quickly, but we'll let that slide (heh heh). The people who work here are super nice and patient. Also, every time my roommates and I come here it is empty and as we're making our creations, hordes of people always walk in. It makes us feel popular even though it's definitely sheer coincidence. The Yogurt was good.. the toppings bar was a bit of a mess.. and the place was WAY too loud for my (apparently old man) ears. Typical self serve yogurt shop with about 8 flavors that you can mix to your hearts desire. They had a few lo-cal options when I was there.. After testing your luck with not filling the cup to the brim you get to pile on any number of toppings.. that might or might not have become a big messy heap of sugar depending upon the day... finally you find out that you have spent a TON of money because you eyes can't judge the weight of something. read more

Come here about once a week. This is about as good as it gets for frozen yogurt. 10+ flavors that change pretty frequently. Nice staff. Good Music. They also have a pretty good variety of toppings. The fruit is always fresh. I love that its self serve, and you can mix as many flavors and toppings as you like. read more

I am somewhat hopelessly addicted to this place. Okay, I lied. I'm totally addicted to this place. Pick your own toppings? I load my froyo up with gummy bears and chocolate chips. And other things. I like that it's pay by weight, and not by topping. It's literally steps from my boyfriends apartment, and so whenever the "what should we do" conversation starts I usually suggest this place. First, I have to say that there is some postmodernity embedded in this Forever Yogurt. This store front went from beng an ice cream place (Coldstone) to being a different frozen yogurt place (Yogurt Pier) to becoming this frozen yogurt place (Forever Yogurt) that has another location 4 blocks away (Belmont & The Red Line). So I have to say there is some strange narrative here, though I don't quite know what to make of it. As for Forever Yogurt itself-- it's pretty yummy! They had a bunch of different options both between flavors of yogurt and different toppings. I had some cookies and cream and caramel turtle. It was pretty great. I tried a few fruit flavors, but they're not really for me. Though, the ones I got were smooth, creamy and delicious, so I definitely enjoyed. The environment is a little odd--they've expanded the seating area since the previous frozen yogurt place went out, which was nice--it was pretty roomy, but it felt too sterile. The Belmont Forever Yogurt location is a little nicer in terms of decor in my opinion. The music choices were also a little boring; I think they had a jukebox, which is cool, but I don't know if I would actually pay to put on music for a yogurt shop that I'm not spending that much time in. The staff was also a bit overly-friendly; my guess is that they were bored (we went early-ish on a cold Saturday night, so it was pretty empty in the place), but I feel like there is a limit to how much attention a customer needs. Overall, it's a nice spot, and I'll probably end up going back soon. read more

I've been here twice with friends who really wanted yogurt. Both times I was surprised how much it cost when they rang me up. It's a pay by weight self-serve frozen yogurt bar. The yogurt was good, lots of topping options, ambience was fine. It could be 4 stars except it was way too expensive without doing anything different than other cheaper yogurt places. Maybe the toppings are higher quality, but I paid more because I had a lot more heavy yogurt than lightweight toppings? Just not sure $8 for a medium strawberry yogurt makes sense. read more

Forever Yogurt is a self serve yogurt store decorated in hot pink and neon green colors. For some reason, frozen yogurt stores seem to have these bold color schemes. Upon walking in, the cashier will offer you some sample cups. They usually only give two sample cups and deciding has gotten easier since I go here a lot, but there are about 10 rotating flavors at any one time. My favorites are the Tahitian vanilla and the cookies and cream. After you finish sampling, you can grab an oddly colored cup to fill up as much as you want. Pricing is by weight! Be carefully; it adds up quickly. After choosing your yogurt, there's a full bar of toppings from fruits to candies to cookies. The variety is excellent and the workers do a good job keeping it fresh. Then, after all that hard work, you pay and eat. It's tasty, clean, and has the illusion of being healthy. What more do you want in a froyo place? read more

I came in last night for some yogurt and was very impressed. They by far have the most toppings I've ever seen at a yogurt shop- literally anything you could want they have as a topping. The tiramisu tasted exactly like tiramisu and was very good. The store was also very clean. This is the best froyo shop I've ever been to! read more

I love Forever Yogurt! I am an ice cream junkie. And this is a great substitute for less calories...as long as you dont go crazy with the toppings. They usually have like 8 flavors. I usually stick with the rich ones instead of the berry ones. SALTED CARAMEL POPCORN!!! YES PLEASE! I also love cake batter, chocolate, vanilla, etc. I mean, I actually love them all...who am I kidding. There is a million toppings to make your "healthy" yogurt very unhealthy. I love that the flavors are constantly changing and they have some interesting flavors. I am not particularly fond of the yogurt taste that is obviously part of frozen yogurt. But I really like that the fruity flavors here are more sorbet-like and not super yogurt-y. If this wasn't true, I wouldn't go here at all. I am a self admitted froyo addict and having recently moved to Wrigleyville I have become a regular at Forever Yogurt. NOM! They have an extremely diverse selection of flavors that change frequently so I am never bored. Also, the toppings bar boasts some unique goodies that I haven't seen at other froyo joints (puppy chow, what?!) All this being said, I was a little bummed out the past few times-- when I went to dispense my eurotarty deliciousness a measly trickle of watery "yogurt" ended up in my cup. I brought this up to the cashier who told me that it had been broken for a while...OK SO FIX IT ALREADY! Or take down the sign misleading me that it is in stock! This minor complaint aside, I will continue to indulge (but..not really cause it's healthy, duh!) on a daily basis...as I said, I'm happily addicted! read more

I like this location. Why can't we have one like this over on chicago/wabash. It's clean, spacious with nice employees. The only downside is that there's limited selection at times so it can be boring. Other than that, I'm down with this location when I'm close by. Jealous. Now if only we can get one of those self serve frozen yogurt places like in Portland that resemble your local day care with lots of cutesy asian characters. read more

There may not be anything that Forever Yogurt can do about it this issue...but I won't be giving them any of my business. Basically, immediately prior to Forever Yogurt, there was Yogurt Pier in this spot. They had a deal where you got 10% off if you bought a gift card. Then, after undoubtedly selling a ton of gift cards, Yogurt Pier suddenly closed down and this place popped up a week later. Despite saying that the owner of Yogurt Pier invested in Forever Yogurt, the manager at Forever Yogurt rudely refused to accept the gift cards. It all just seemed really shady.
