Loved it. I don't have any other words than that for an exceptional dinner. Everything was amazing.

We knew that Fourk had undergone a change in ownership last year and that the prices have gone up since we first started coming a few years back. But we had a free night come up and had been saving to be able to try it out again. We were one of only four parties there on a Thursday evening and we sat at the bar. We always enjoyed doing that in the past and once again loved the experience because we got to chat with the host Vincent and the chef Charles throughout the evening. We also were glad to see that many of the old elements of the Fourk experience have been upheld despite the change in ownership. Now, to the good stuff- the food was absolutely delicious. You can tell Chef Charles nerds out on coming up with all the dishes, how they work together, how they work with the season and also how the wines will pair with them. We had the Classic wine pairing which gives you a nice 1/4 glass pour with each of the four dishes. Believe me, you will be satisfied with the amount of wine you receive. Our four courses included a delicious winter greens salad with sweet persimmons, creamy goat cheese and candied pecans, a creamy potato leek soup with complex layers of flavor including a Chantilly cream and chive oil, a pork roulade with a filling with garlic and herbs paired with the yummiest apricot/mustard pan sauce, truffle mashed potatoes (with real shaved truffles!) and a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Every single dish was scrumptious and we left feeling very full and satisfied. A five star experience from start to finish. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. We will be back after we save up for the next time

The guy I was dating made a reservation here for a romantic dinner, and I found out it was a prepaid four-course meal (paid reservation as well) with a set menu that changes monthly. It's a small, intimate spot--which explains why they book up quickly, especially on weekends. He was smart to reserve for a Thursday night. It was quiet and cozy, great for an intimate evening. The food was definitely good. The meal included a caprese salad, asparagus soup, your choice of lasagna or filet (which you have to choose ahead of time), and dessert. Each course was well-prepared and nicely presented. They start you off with a small glass of their house red--it was tangy with a sweet finish, definitely something unique. I ordered a Chardonnay afterward that paired nicely with everything. There's also a fun, thoughtful theme: Forks & Four hence "Fourks." There are only four staff members working each night--the chef, hostess, server, and runner--and they all introduce themselves at the start of the evening. The vintage fork decor adds charm and character, and the team was genuinely nice and knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. That said, there were a few things that impacted the overall experience. We were seated at a small two-top table against the wall, even though there were open four-tops. I felt boxed in, and unfortunately, I was facing the front door, where sun poured through an uncovered upper window for most of the meal. It made it hard to see my date--it honestly felt like I had a film over my eyes. Not ideal for a romantic evening, especially since it ended up being the night he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was a special moment, and the ambiance just didn't quite support it. What made it a bit more frustrating is that staff walked by several times and didn't seem to notice or offer to adjust anything. To top it off, there must've been a staple or sharp piece under my chair because it snagged my stockings and caused a run. I had to toss them afterward, which was annoying--especially at a place considered fine dining. Would I go again? If I were being taken on a date--yes, I think it's a sweet, unique experience. But would I personally pay for it again? Probably not. The food was good, the concept is creative, and the staff was lovely--but for the price point, I expected a bit more in terms of comfort and attention to detail. If you do decide to go, I'd recommend asking for a seat away from the door if the sun's still up--and maybe skip the delicate outfits, just in case.

Amazing dinner date at Fourk! We loved everything on the menu (first day of the April menu) and had such a wonderful experience! The staff are so friendly and engaging. We had a wonderful time speaking with one of the owners, his daughter who served us, and the chef. We will definitely be back!!

A delightful and unique dining experience, arrive early to enjoy the happy hour, then dinner is served altogether at 6:30. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. The food was bomb, especially the incredibly tender skirt steak and savory French onion soup, finished the meal with coffee and light dessert. Excited to see what menu they come up with next time!

Tonight was my fourth visit to Fourk, and it was without question my best experience there. I visited once before the current owners took over and enjoyed it, but this dinner with the current team completely outpaced my previous visits. Each course was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and clearly made with care. You can feel the passion behind every plate. My only regret is that I ate far too much and the menu will change before I can return for another round. If you can make it in for January's menu, I highly recommend it. Fourk is absolutely worth the trip.

Very nice small restaurant. There is one seating per night, and only 3 employees, chef, server/manager, and a helper. The entire night was great from the first time we stepped inside until us leaving. We appreciated the intimate service and feel of the business. The menu was a 4 course style with a set price. All three employees were great. Since it was such a small business, reservations are needed. They usually buy/prepare for what is expected. The desert was a berry cobbler, and it was great. The only problem was that I could not order a second one, even if I paid extra, because they did not have any extra. Thus reservations are highly recommendations. I like the rotating monthly menus. We will definitely be back. As a Side note, if a fine dinning experience with a cost to match. If money/cost overrides the experience this might not be the best place for you. If you want excellent experience over cost/value than this is a great choice

We had an excellent dinner, late December prior to New Year's. The staff is always incredible. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. It was a great date night for my wife and I. This is the fourth time that I've been to the Lincoln location and I absolutely love it. I still have two grandchildren to bring to experience this innovative feast. The garden to Fork concept is amazing. Their steak is always incredible and the little touches. The chef adds as the chefs create their own menus for the month are always surprising unexpected and delicious.

This fast casual spot has genuinely nice staff who care to provide great service. From smiles of welcome to patrons, speedy service makes it worth stopping. We had Tri tip beef dip sandwich, cheese, bacon marmalade and grilled onions - Really fantastic! My sandwich was exceptionally flavorful and tender beef. It was really that good.

This review is specifically for pizza delivery…read more Overall not a bad experience with a couple of hic ups. Pizza delivery can always be a chancey proposition, yet it's so convenient when tired and just want some comfort food without going out for it. The pizza did arrive right at the outer edge of the delivery time. I ordered am xtra large vegetarian pizza and a large side salad w/my selection of blue cheese dressing. The pizza was fine with all of the right ingredients and a very tasty white type pesto sauce. The criticism is that the dough and crust wasn't fully baked and very chewy and doughy. The toppings aren't evenly or well distributed and end up in the middle, the place you don't want them bunched up for easy eating. Except for the dough and the way the toppings were placed, the pie was tasty enough. The pie also wasn't at all warm when it arrived and needed reheating. We may have been at the end of a delivery cycle (?) The salad was excellent. Fresh and full of flavor, including beans which is a nice touch. The croutons were essentially torn bread chunks and not toasted, or in the least very little. That was fine for me but a bit strange to taste. The dressing, delivered in containers was delicious. OK, a few glitches but I'd still get my pizza from here. It's kind of a "luck of the draw".

The restaurant has a beautiful, outdoorsy atmosphere surrounded by plants and nature, with excellent design and a very relaxing feel. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff provided excellent service from start to finish. Between the gorgeous setting, great food, and welcoming atmosphere, High-Hand Café is definitely worth a visit. It's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal and then wander through the nursery afterward!

Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant was completely ruined by our waiter. It was around 3 p.m. and getting close to closing time, so I understand the staff probably wanted to finish up for the day. But from the moment our waiter came to the table, his attitude was rude and unprofessional. He asked if we were ready to order and then bluntly told us that everyone was waiting for us. While taking our order, I asked a simple question about whether the rotisserie chicken pizza had cheese on it. Instead of just answering, he responded sarcastically, basically saying, "Yes, it says it right on the menu. Look." That set the tone for the rest of the meal. We ordered the rotisserie chicken pizza and an artichoke pizza. The chicken pizza arrived within about five minutes and was only warm, while the second pizza came roughly 20 minutes later piping hot. I can't say what happened with the first pizza, but the difference was noticeable like it was from a cancelled order or something. The worst part came near the end. The waiter brought our check while we were still eating, then started abruptly clearing plates from the table even though we had not finished. It felt like he was trying to push us out as quickly as possible. I don't expect over-the-top service, especially near closing time, but I do expect basic courtesy. Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience simply because the staff wants to go home. The nursery and olive oil tasting were great, but the waiter completely changed our impression of the place. What could have easily been a 5-star visit turned into a very disappointing experience because of the way we were treated. Because of that rude waiter I'm giving 1 star, only because there is no option for zero!
