Changed my cabin air filter yesterday-- crazy how it was recommended to be changed today! "Cabin air filter recommends changing: Fair condition". "Buy American", "support your dealers", they say. By doing what this business just did, it's enough to completely distrust and take my business elsewhere. Could've had $450 for changing my brakes today, but I won't support a business that acts like this. Well I'm going to change my rating from the last that I provide with an other website. Im pissed, I drop my car few weeks ago for an engine light on by chance my family have a mechanic shop so we just wanted to checked wich sensor was bad. Code showed fuel pressure sensor my ford have two sensor so we doesn't really know which one it was. Anyway I drop my ford for service, the result that they provide me was different, fuel pressure sensor in line, valve pump, fuel tank, fuel pump, result $2500. I buy the sensor plus the valve and I installed myself. At least I approximately spend $200/$300 for two parts. But the funniest of that it wasn't the good sensor, so the mechanician tell me to change the sensor in line by the fuel tank. I found out that I have a recall on my fuel tank and my fuel pump plus the fuel delivery who can have a reduction of a fuel delivery, also no one checked out before that. So I called the FORD dealer in highland park and explained the issue, the first thing that they told me was " they should checked the recalls first " second about this code they should to replaced as recall if the pump was defective or the tank. Here is my surprise when I hear that, so I called back this dealer and explained the problem, the first manager that I got tell me " well I have to apologize bla bla bla, drop your car and we will apply the recall " so in my mind here was the issue, it would be fixed and that's all. So I got an appointment on Tuesday dropped my car and waiting. Here is someone showing and telling me that the fuel tank was okay and the fuel pump too so no Recalls need it. And the code was a catalytic convertor so ... so wait a minute someone already checked the car before then they said fuel pressure sensor and now catalyst convertor. So wait they gave me an invoice of $2500 for fuel tank fuel pressure sensor purge valve fuel pump, and after telling me that I didn't need to replace those. After showing up with a catalytic convertor. Also this code start to show up while after the fuel pressure sensor code, so they should be related. First picture after erasing code plus driving about 30 min second ( P018C code solo ) picture about an hour or so of driving ( P018C code plus p0420 code ) so wait if I totally understand the first diagnose was wrong? When I asked the mechanic he cannot give me an actual answer so I actually pay few parts plus one diagnostic for no reason because the code is still the same and my car still have the same issue while I'm driving. Well after that I spend $3000 for my transmission, TCM plus some parts it's my last time at this dealer I will go somewhere else, or even took some after market parts. read more

I've had to replace 3 tires in 6 months (thanks to Chicago streets) and once Aimmey heard about this she told me about tire insurance (which will likely save me hundreds of dollars over the next few years). She has the kindest personality and really goes out of her way to put a smile on my face every time I see her. During my last visit I needed 2 new tires so I could pick up my young child from school and Aimmey moved mountains to find me replacement tires and get yhem installed in record time so I wouldn't be late for school pick up! Do not shop here. Looking over the reviews and there seems to be a history of the store waiting for a great deal on a car coming in and then then either selling to a friend or selling the car behind the back of a person willing to buy it at the agreed price. Avery the store manager can walk around the obvious recurring problem that this dealership has by saying first come first serve (because I was there first). I came in Thursday and told them I wanted to buy it on the spot. They Told me that it's a great deal and the mechanic would be done with it on Monday and I can come in and buy it, I offered my credit card and he told me don't worry about it. I told him text me the minute it is ready. 1:39pm the next day he said it's almost ready and to be ready to come in, in an hour or two. Then no response til the next morning that my car was sold. The issue with this is Avery told me they came in at 9am on Friday and bought the car. I was told at 1:30pm on Friday the car was still an hour or two before being ready to be sold. Someone is lying. I'm assuming a salesman friend was told about the car on Thursday and it was sold that day. Avery tried sending me two other vehicles that were "comparable" was not even close, he would have needed to come down by another 4,000 to be anywhere close to the amazing deal I was screwed out of. I recently purchased a used car at Fox. Very happy with the car after 2 weeks of Driving. My problem with them is my being a disabled veteran, I have a iServe multi-year plate. They claim they couldn't use it. Instead they added to my contract and issued a new plate. I asked for a temporary plate they lied and told me only EV autos got them. I checked with Illinois Secretary of State and found dealers can issue temporary plates. Saving me about $400 being financed. I can get a refund from the state for the new plate. But the finance charge will be much larger. I'm 73 years old, I should have known better. But I really liked and wanted that car. That it for now, to be continued. read more

I come here frequently for oil changes and they are always quick and efficient. However, my fiancé's car has a transmission issue and is basically brand new. When we tried to have this dealer inspect the vehicle, we received the run around and were told our name was on "the list" but that it would take months. When we went in there for an oil change a week ago, the service agent said there is no list and that they "have one old timer that does transmission work and he does it whenever he gets free time" and that they "have cars that have been in their shop for six months without even being looked at." WHAT! Don't lie to us and say we're on an imaginary list. Our thought is that they hope we wait long enough for our warranty to expire. read more

Not a good value There is a poor price to value equation in the service at the dealership. Nearby is Milito's Auto service (and Mobile Station), who are Ford specialists. They are both cheaper and (for some reason) more knowledgeable on various Ford vehicle problems. I won't bore with the details, but the dealership mechanic and service people were poor communicators, and were using guesswork to solve a mechanical problem. Expensive, and not effective. Only issue, why it is not 5 stars, is because I was emailed an estimate while waiting that quoted me one price, but the total was a lot different. You might want to get that figured out. April was very kind, explained the pricing, and then looked and saw that I had Ford Pass Points that covered it all. I wish I could give this review less than 1. Horrible customer service. Jessica, one of the advisors, was incredibly rude to me upon arrival. Insulted my intelligence with cars as well as condescending. I was trying to get a fuel tank recall repaired as well as a purge canister valve. Let them know the drivability was not functional and that the fuel gauge was off. She informed me that the "door latch recall should affect drivability"....obviously I'm aware of that. Just because I'm a female does not make me incompetent when it comes to automotive repairs. After getting both recalls fixed, 3 hours later both my check engine light was on as well as a new clutch transmission repair. Completely ridiculous that 3 hours after service, my car drives worse than when I brought it in. Now they want to charge $2500 + a diagnostic for the new repair. Thanks for nothing Ford. read more
