Tito marre lunch special, would like to see a regular meal. This was plenty.

Stopped here on a whim and wow, it's so good. We both got Tito Marre lunch special with the salad and it was awesome. Even got cheesy bread which was really yummy. We will definitely be back and service is great!!

This is a comfortable family oriented, Italian diner for dates, small groups, or casual business meetings. Beyond pizza and pasta, Frankie G's as a range of salads and sandwiches. I ordered something I don't often see in an Italian or family restaurant: a Reuben sandwich. It was a hearty portion with coleslaw as a side. It wasn't the best Ruben I've had - the corned beef could've been more tender - but it was completely acceptable and I'm not sorry. I ordered it.

I used to come to this place all the time when I was a kid, so it has a place in my heart. I've never had any complaints about the food, except that I can never finish it (if you can even call that a bad thing). But oh man, the prices are way too high. The food is good don't get me wrong, but not THAT good.

We recently utilized Frankie Gianino's catering for my sister in law's wedding on 9/21. They were extremely easy to work with and very reasonably priced. Our primary contact was Mike who was super helpful. Mike met us to tour the venue ahead time, arrived early the day of for set up, and during the dinner service was tirelessly running around himself collecting plates and drink wear. His staff were also super professional and friendly, The food was plentiful and delicious! Mike and his team also helped pack all of the leftovers for us so it was ready before tear down at the end of the night. We cannot thank Mike and his team enough and would recommend this catering service to everyone!

Easy to access , it has plenty of public parking. We came in on a Saturday evening and got seated right away. They have gluten free options that are reasonably priced. The food was good with large portions. The service was good , quick to respond to our needs.

With my Daughter Sister & Mother! Always a good time!!

We went here for a little date night close to home. Good food and good service. Had plenty for leftovers. No complaints here.

Wonderful italian without the drive to the Hill! No visit is complete unless you order the Gianino's house salad.

Don't bother, they went out of sequence for seating us even though we had been there a lot longer AND had a pager. Just not worth it.

There were other people there. The hostess and waitress were very hospitable. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, and my wife ordered the chicken modiga. We heard the portions were big, and that is the truth. My serving of lasagna was about 4 inches square and about 3 inches tall. Multiple layers of pasta and meat and other yummy stuff. I ate about half and took the other half home. My wife's chicken modiga was also huge. She got two breaded chicken breasts and a pile of pasta. She ate about half of one chicken breast and brought the rest home. The chicken breast that she started eating was great. Nice breading. Nice lemony sauce. The next day we reheated our leftovers. We each got some lasagna, and we split the chicken breasts (I got the whole second one and she got the one she started on the night before). The lasagna tasted as good as the first time. This is what I noticed on the chicken breasts. The whole chicken breast tasted like it had a rubbery side to it. I suspect that particular chicken breast had freezer burn on the one side. The other chicken breast was perfect. I had my wife try my chicken breast and she agreed, kind of rubbery. I don't know if this is a one off thing or if this happens often. As I stated this was my first time there. That is why I am taking one star off for my review. Other than that chicken breast, everything was great! I will eat there again. I highly recommend the lasagna.

All of the above, went well. Food, service, & ambiance were more than satisfactory…read more Highly recommend.

You need to book a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights. We had ours for 7 pm and were seated promptly. Food we got Toasted Ravs's these are a STL staple and a must get. The sauce is on the sweeter side so be prepared. I got the Lasagna which came with a salad. The dressing is also on the sweeter side. I love that so it's a great salad and it's topped with provel cheese. The lasagna has provel, beef, sausage and ricotta. It's light on the ricotta which I love. They use the same sweet sauce for the toasted rav's. It's a huge portion! My friend got a chicken dish which came with bacon, broccoli, peppers, and had toasted bread crumbs. He loved it, however he said it did not have much chicken. We were so full we skipped dessert. Great meal. For two people it was about $100 so pretty reasonable. We also got alcohol so it would have been cheaper without wine and a mixed drink. Best Italian on the Hill in my opinion!

The interior is nothing fancy, but it has that standard charm of The Hill. The service was excellent, we had Katie. She could have told us she went to WashU and majored in waitressing and we would have believed her. Prompt, professional but slightly personable. Good combo. The food was GREAT. We couldn't decide which was better, the Chicken Picatta or the Chicken Speidini. They were both super high quality poultry mixed with a rich and flavorful sauce, yum. Katie even let us make the side shells "pink", by mixing marinara and Alfredo for us. The only reason I'm subtracting a star is that our salads were a bit wilted -- my Mom kept running into some weird looking greens. Regardless, we'll be back.
