What a gem of a spot! Perfect for date night, a celebration or just because you like good food! We opted to sit in the bar on a Saturday evening. There are booths and tables available as well as an amazing dining area showcasing their wine cellar. Our food was amazing. Definitely try the toasted raviolis! Service was top notch!

Went on a recommendation because I had a massive need for Veal Cordon Blu but was told Frashers had Chicken Cordon Blu, and I was like Yup, that will do the trick!!! So glad I went! Loved loved loved my chicken cordon Blu and my friend demolished the steak, perfectly seasoned and temperature. Great spot with excellent bar. Met the owner, George, who has 2 other restaurants in the Valley. His attention to detail in the dishes was exquisite. The Butter cake melted in my mouth, it took all my self control not to finish the entire thing lol. Highly recommend! Great for families, friends and date night.

Justin was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as was the host who greeted me. The bar had a cool atmosphere, though it was relatively quiet for 6 PM on a Friday night. The French onion soup was excellent! I also tried the crispy rice but didn't love the fishy topping, and the rice wasn't as crispy as I expected. The menu had a diverse and interesting selection, and the service was great--very attentive and quick to bus plates, which I really appreciated. Overall, a solid experience with great service and a nice ambiance!

Great happy hour with friendly bar tenders. It's nice and dark in the bar. Not a place to go party, much more relaxed and intimate. The fried ravioli are good to snack on with your cocktail. (Get the blue cheese olives in your martini!)

We came to celebrate my nephew's graduation from ASU here in Scottsdale because I reviewed the ratings on Yelp! I'm telling you, my Yelpers never let me down! We were greeted immediately and welcomed into the establishment. Atmosphere was steak house like. With a beautiful wine cellar in the room we sat it. Amazing cartoon drawings of famous baseball players. (See video). We ordered two great wines that were suggested by our fabulous waiter. We started with the rib end appetizer that were a lot better than they sound. Ordered the Fried Calamari and toasted raviolis. All delicious. For our dinners, we ordered filet mignon, rib eyed steaks with bone in and boneless steaks. My other nephew ordered the pork chop and we had the crab legs. All were fabulous. The crab legs were so good they melted in your mouth. Seasoning all perfect with our choice of meats. Heavenly mash potatoes and potatoes au gratin that were delicious. Our table service was the utmost best. I loved our time here and our food was memorable. Plenty of parking out front. Easy to find location. My family and I Loved it! If ever back in Phoenix we will be back! Thank you all for making this day so special to our family. Cheers!

We reserved a table at Frashers Tavern a couple of weeks beforehand to celebrate my birthday, wanting to have something very special this evening. The web pages informed about the dress code being business casual, so we dressed adequately. The reviews indicated superior quality, so our expectations were pretty high as we entered the restaurant timely, and waited at the front desk for some time. A person appeared after a while, and after having prioritized someone calling to reserve their table, we were finally seated with a happy birthday note. The room has nice, classic decor and wood walls, although the place sounded rather loud. That was ok, but it was somewhat awkward to note that we were basically the only ones having business casual outfit. Then, we ordered the appetizer and drinks. It was again a bit strange to realize my wine took such a long time to be served, although our server informed even couple of times it is on its way. Again, not any big deal as we were not in hurry at all, it was just that we needed to wait paciently that birthday brindis to materialize. Perhaps there were some more important customers, we thought. That all were of course just minor details, the steaks being of the main importance. After very tasty crab cakes, we ordered a petit tenderloin and ribeye, ready to enjoy the treat. The tenderloin turned out to be fantastic although it was slightly undercooked compared to the ask. Excellent it was regardless, so 5 of 5 for the quality. Nevertheless, the ribeye was slightly disappointing. Delicious it was, and prepared to a perfect medium, but for 61 dollars, it was kind of tough - texture-wise it actually reminded more like choise-grade New York strip than prime ribeye. Sufficiently juicy it was, and pretty tasty, but for the price, I had somewhat higher expectations so I would give 3 of 5 to this one. The recommended house dessert, butter cake with icecream, was fantastic. The bill was around 200 dollars plus tip, no bread served, and regardless of some other evaluations indicating a nice surprise of their dessert being given as a birthday present, I was simply charged for that one. All in all, we enjoyed very much the evening, regardless of the rather high price compared to the overall experience.

Frasher's Tavern in Scottsdale was fantastic! We loved seeing St. Louis favorites like toasted ravioli, Provel cheese, and ooey butter cake on the menu--everything was delicious. The service was amazing, the owner was so friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend!

Be prepared to pay a pretty penny But worth that pretty penny I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes but these were good The meat was cooked to perfection The broccoli could have been cooked a little longer but tasted amazing

Their famous butter cake yum... so good.

I love this Frashers Tavern in Scottsdale and I love the great food, hospitality and the owner George is so funny and fun when he comes by and talks to you. He makes you feel like one of the family. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. The place is very nice for upscale date night or you can sit in the bar area and have a nice cocktail and appetizers or even a meal there. It never disappoints. I've been coming over ten years and every time they never miss.

Staff was very nice even though they had three people call out they made sure to be attentive and give great service, the food was definitely the highlight

The host told us that there was open seating along the wall or under cover outside. Since the wall was full, we ventured outside near the cooler. We were given water right away but didn't even see a server, Jessica, for 12 mins. We even had to ask her for menus. It was a very awkward start. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well and the grits were incredible. They were creamy, with pronounced poblano and Jack cheese. It was the perfect accompaniment. Jessica did a great job checking in on us during our meal but, again, it was awkward waiting 15 mins for her to offer dessert and check. We will return but perhaps not during happy hour, when it's very busy but the evening staff hasn't arrived yet.

No staff members were running around frantically, and I could tell they are staffed amazingly well. So organized and kind, genuinely smiling at us. Let us know not to touch the 500 degree plates when they arrived. He took out drink orders and answered any question we had. He promptly came back with drinks and fresh, hot rolls!! Then, they served each of us the crème brûlée corn. All of us that ordered meat, asked for medium rare and we were not disappointed!! Our meats were spot on!!! Perfection!!! The petite filet mignon were very juicy and delicious, as was the New York strip. The Crispy Hasselback Potatoes were so good, especially with the topping. The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. With a good amount of meats and food Kids meals - they forgot to bring fries with the meals until we were ready to pay the bill. They also were supposed to come with sundaes but they ran out

They have their own farm with their animals and they actually have a slaughterhouse up the street as well so everything is always fresh! This place has been there since before any of the industrial stuff went up. That's why it is kind of the oddball out in this area! It is extremely large inside the decorations in there are very fitting for a steakhouse! Fun fact John Wayne used to eat there. They have his booth with his pictures up, so that's a pretty cool fact to know! The staff was absolutely amazing so informative. The waiter was probably one of the best I've ever had. He suggested different items on the menu, He told us about the restaurant, and was so helpful and so friendly all the employees were great! Timely on refilling your water and taking the food plates that were empty. It was nice how quickly they took care of everything. They had some amazing jalapeño corn cornbread the 8 ounce sirloin with the Parmesan potatoes and the 8 ounce fillet with Parmesan potatoes were divine! My husband got the house salad that he liked, I got their soup of the day, which was the hatch green chili and chicken soup, which was so hearty and delicious full of flavor. Everything about this restaurant was great. I would highly recommend going here.

However we ordered the prime rib for 2 and the meat left much to be desired. It was not as tender as a steak restaurant would usually serve. The portion was very generous for the price but some areas of the serving were hard to cut through. Maybe I'm just spoiled with the quality of the prime rib served at Lawry's. In any event I plan on returning to Stockyards to sample some of the steaks served there.
