This is a hidden gem... there used to be another location that closed. And when we heard they opened another one we were thrilled. We got ribs, fish special, and steak sandwich. The fish was the THE BEST fish I've ever had, the sauce was to die for. Ribs were Smokey and tender, and sandwich was huge. They don't skimp on the portions, expect to go home with leftovers! So happy that full service Frasher's is back in Scottsdale. Great central "downtown/old town" location. The food was delicious - try the ribeye! - and the service was warm and wonderful. I can see this place taking over the "Post Game Steakhouse" slot left open by the demise of Don & Charlies. Especially when they get the smoker in place and turning out ribs and wings. This will be a "go to" place for my friends and me and we're willing to fight for space if the tourists discover it. read more

We were there with friends from our building for Happy Hour and to check out the restaurant and to hear about George's other restaurants. The service from the wait staff and from the owner were special! We tried the burger sliders, the mac and cheese pops and other items from the menus. The owner came to our group of 20 and talked about the restaurant and concept and was very gracious and welcoming. We live next door and will go back for dinner soon. Have eaten here 3 times in the last week, usually don't post on Yelp, but must report that Frasher's has the best steaks for the money in the valley, service is sharp and very friendly. You are definitely missing out if you don't try thier St. Louis style toasted raviolis and gooey butter cake. Yum yum. read more

Good service, nice decor , prime rib was the worst I ever had, but it happens, you can get a bad piece of meat any where. They made adjustments to the bill , and offered me a replacement meal on the house , nice gesture but I passed, not after a free meal , as I said you can get a bad piece of meat anywhere. Settled the bill , no big deal , looked closely at the bill they had an itemized charge of 2.00 for ice , just crazy , could have been for the olives with the Tito's on the rocks, but just hit me wrong . We had crab cakes and scallops appetizers. Both were delicious. Lots of crab in the crab cakes and they tasted great alone but the sauce that accompanied them enhanced the flavor without over-powering. Scallops were bacon wrapped but the bacon flavor did not transfer to the scallops. I cut the bacon off and ate it separately (again, great) and then ate the scallops. They were sweet and perfectly seared. Dinner was rib-eyes with the garlic mashed, a filet with garlic mashed and broccoli. Not sure if the steaks were marinated or just seasoning but they were all very good and the mashed potatoes were perfect with them. Have to mention our server. She was truly awesome. Answered all our questions, made recommendations, was very attentive and a delightful personality. All of this and prices were well below other steak houses in the area. The appetizers were amazing! The waitresses were super sweet and inviting. My group and I are restauranteurs and they definitely fulfilled our expectations. I had the most amazing dinner here last night ! It's in a primary location in the old town area yet slightly hidden amongst the hotels which is actually perfect because there's lots of parking ! This location just opened and has a nice vibe it's both a place where you could take someone for a nice occasion or something casual and you would feel both comfortable and appropriate. We had the filet mignon and the pork chop. I'm usually a steak person but wanted something different- after i ordered i admit i had some buyers remorse (should I have gotten the steak?! ). No way ! Although the steak was phenomenal i was blown away by the pork chop - thick, not too fatty, juicy and DELICIOUS! Our wine was a great pairing and the service was friendly but gave us space to talk! We didn't know this place existed until our St Louis friends said they wanted us to go with them and try it! Have never known anything about St Louis or their cuisine but if this is the way they cook there, I'm impressed! Everything we had was exceptional except the Caesar salad could use some garlic! But our entrees were fabulous. I had what they called a double Loin pork chop that may have been the best piece of meat I have ever had! That's saying alot! Husband got cordon blue and he, too, was impressed. Our friends who go there regularly had a fillet and one had lobster tails. We were all impressed with the server whose name escapes me, but he was helpful, fun, funny and attentive to us all. I think he doubles as a bar tender. After I ordered he tokdk me the pork cho[( no bone) was one of his favorites on the menu. Will we return??? YOU bet! Great atmosphere and Best steak I've ever eaten! The fried ravioli and Green chili Mac n cheese were delicious. For dessert must order the ooey gooey butter cake served warm with vanilla ice cream. This place is a little off the beaten path for us. Walking up, it definitely looked to us like a good place for the younger crowd to get drunk in Old Town, so it was surprising that we had one of the best dining experiences-- foodwise and service wise-- in Scottsdale in a very long time! Went on a Saturday night and were seated in the dining room near a bachelor party and a group of teenagers. LOUD. But the tall blonde hostess picked up on our discomfort and she re-seated us after our first course at a corner table in the bar in front which was much quieter. The owner, who was working the bar, noticed that we'd been moved, and he offered us free dessert (thank you!). We enjoyed everything we ordered and every employee we encountered was genuinely kind. Christine was our server, and she was amazing-- super nice and very on top of everything. We paid with a gift certificate we had won at a charity auction and there were no hassles or embarrassing explanations, they just took care of the bill seamlessly. We had a surprise birthday party for my husband's 80th birthday and it was planned by our children. There were 22 of us and everyone raved about the food. Our waitress met us outside when my husband and I arrived and asked us if we had been there before. My husband told her it was his 80th BD. She quickly said "Oh, I have just the table for you" and led us back to a private room where our entire family was gathered. The atmosphere is lovely, the appetizers were hot and tasty, the main courses all arrived at the same time and were hot! The food was amazing.....most had steak or prime rib. I had chicken cordon blu and it was one of the best I have ever had. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed it. Didn't have to ask twice! This a family owned restaurant that is located just north of Old Town Scottsdale. For those familiar with the area, it went into the old Outback restaurant space that had been closed for years. It has a sophisticated supper club vibe. The food was excellent. The prime rib was cooked to perfection as was the pork chop. The "onion mound" (crispy onion strings) was outstanding but be warned, it was large enough for our party of 4. The only reason I did not give this restaurant 5 stars is service needs some polishing. We had gone to the bar first and my husband ordered a mescal margarita and got a Moscow mule. The bartender said all he heard was "Moscow." The wait staff was attentive but not intuitive however I am sure this will come with time as the place is new. read more

We loved the old place and missed it when it closed. The new location carries on the tradition well. Specifically, it carries on the great quality vs cost for steaks tradition. It also has a very friendly and welcoming staff, which is a hallmark of Frasher's restaurants. My kids give it, "Infinity thumbs up!" for our first visit there. Definitely a step down from the original Fraser's. To start, the hostess corrected me on how to pronounce my name. I was looking forward to having their baked potato, which I remembered was so good. The photo of the Prime Rib and baked potato on their website had me drooling - I guessed baked potatoes were served on weekends as is their Prime Rib. BUT NO, they don't offer baked potatoes. Bummer. I ended up ordering the Baby Back Ribs - very meaty, but very tough. I only ate one. My husband and his son both got the Ribeye Steak, also pretty tough. They both ordered medium, and SIL's came extra rare, husband's was rare. My DIL had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and said it was good. The Mayfair salad is bland. House Salad is very good. Garlic mashed potatoes were meh, creamed corn was good. Best part was the Gooey Butter Cake. The dining area is very dark, some people like that I guess. Other than hostess's tacky faux pas, the service was good. read more
