    Chicken Tender Plate
    Earl S.

I stopped in to this spot yesterday. I think it's a chain in STL. It was my first meal during my visit to the city and I went through the drive-thru. The wait was reasonable. It was a typical drive-thru experience. The food was mediocre at best. Some of it was cold. My chicken was flavorful but cold. Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. Don't give people cold food. It's not a good look. Maybe another location would have hot food.

    Fried dill pickles. Tasty!

I don't think their fried chicken is good. Very greasy, not seasoned well. Perhaps I got a particularly bad batch, but I can't justify coming here again in the future when I can easily get better chicken at a KFC or Churches. Also, I asked for mashed potatoes as one of my sides THREE times because the cashier kept on repeating my order to me saying I ordered potato wedges instead. After reaffirming the mashed potatoes, when I get home there's potato wedges!! What the hell! They were also very greasy and poorly seasoned. I also got Cajun rice as my other side and it was super soggy and unappetizing. I will say however that their fried dill pickles were great. And their 99 cent BBQ chicken sandwich, while very cheap-flavored in its simplicity, is quite a good deal for some quick and filling eats.

    Fried thigh. Original recipe.

The worst aspect is the ventilation which needs much work. We came out smelling so greasy and smokey. We seated ourselves and waited a minute for our waitress to assist us. She kept saying she was new, that it was like her second day or something and didn't quite know the menu. She also didn't know how to make a drink, with that being the case why are you allowed to make any cocktails. If you have a limited cocktail menu but an extensive bar selection you would think their cocktail specials were on point. Nooooo. The BF tried a margarita special and it was awful. I tried a special crafted cocktail that was cool that our waitress asked the guy bartending to specially make because she had no clue about what I was talking about. I hate going to a spot where I make drinks better than the bartenders on hand and that's your job. The BF ordered the the garlic burger and I ordered the Korean wings which NEVER came out because our waitress forgot to order them. So I shared food with the BF. The burger was extremely underwhelming, not seasoned at all. How do you specialize in burgers and mess that up. The best item we ate was the fries and the comedy show was good. I love dinner and entertainment. We are burger enthusiast and if this what your restaurant specializes in I expect to be wowed. We saw all the social media hype surrounding this place and were so excited to try them. To find out it was ALL just hype is a real let down. No we will not be returning, the burgers and service speak for themselves.

They're known for their smash burgers and seasoned fries. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the food bc I had dinner plans, but I did stay for a couple drinks. They have a great selection of spirits and cocktail specials. My friend got a tequila sunrise, so I followed suit. The pour was quite generous, I must say, and I'm def not complaining. The drink was smooth, with the perfect amount of tequila and sweetness. The bartenders working were both friendly and sociable. The vibe was relaxed and is a great alternative when things get too crazy at the dam. While I only got drinks, I'll for sure be back. The smells alone (all good of course) will have you lingering back!

We were hoping to get the hot dog flight, but they weren't doing it that day since it was so busy, and burgers weren't available either. We ended up getting a variety of hot dogs instead. I'd been planning on the flight, but when I got to the counter they were out, so I just picked something at random and ended up with the St. Louis hot dog. Didn't realize until it arrived that it comes with spicy mustard, and I can't do spicy, so that was a bit of a bummer, but I ate around it and just didn't finish the whole thing. My friend got the Hawaiian style and it was really good, a little on the sweet side, so skip it if you're not into that combo, but I liked it. We also got the chili fries and cheese fries to share, both good. Inside seats maybe 30 people including the bar area, and there's a patio out back that works well for bigger or smaller groups. Weather was nice so we ate outside. My hot dog was a little dry, can't speak for the others. Overall it was fine, nothing that blew me away but nothing bad either, I'd come back to try the flight next time. Heads up, parking is street parking only.

There is a one person unisex bathroom. They have an entrance with a few steps or a full ramp to enter. There are plants in the front window, local artists artwork on the wall for sale and a glass case full of goodies. You order at the counter and they bring your order to the table when it's ready. On this visit, I ordered a breakfast bowl that had potatoes, eggs, cheese, spinach and tomatoes, with a side of toast. I also ordered a black pepper & rosemary scone, and a cold brew coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious. Besides this establishment having a wonderful and welcoming vibe, the staff is top-tier. They were so incredibly kind, friendly and patient. This was my first time dining outside with my pup and since it was hot, I appreciated them doing that. I wanted something light and with protein, so I got the lunch chicken and steak fajitas and a medium guava and mango margarita. They gave us chips, salsa, and water to start. The chips were fresh and crisp, while the salsa had a nice kick of spice but it wasn't over the top. The margaritas were refreshing and I liked that we could mix the flavors. They weren't too busy, so it wasn't long until our food came. My fajitas had a good ratio of each meat and the accompaniments (rice, beans, and salad) were quite tasty as well. Service was stellar as they made sure both mine and the dog's water cups/bowls were kept full. We both enjoyed our time here and will def be back.
