You can count on them if you ever want your salad screwed. You want bread with your order? Well too bad, they'll make sure NOT to include it in your bag. You want to pay extra for that chicken? Don't worry - they'll have you pay extra but won't put a single piece in there. How about dressing on the side instead of mixed in? Welp, leave it to them to DOUSE your salad. Either the staff is POORLY untrained on what seems to be the simplest thing on earth - making a salad. Or these people don't give a crap about service or the quality of your food. I have never posted a review on Yelp. I know ppl say that but it's 100% true for me. I ordered from this place consistently. In the beginning say a year ago , the service was ok, however, it is completely down hill. On several occasions when I have ordered on the app, I get home and the chicken is missing from the salad. Not only that , they put hardly anything in the bowl . The wraps especially the chicken one is not edible Omg over spiced. After several incidents I decided to take my business else where which is hard because this is one of the only healthy places to go within that radius . Do yourself a favor and go to CHOPT! it's further down the road but way better. On the positive side the ppl that work there seem nice , but the finished product is extremely disappointing and sometimes gross . read more

It is with heavy thumbs I write this review. Written after half a dozen visits. ------ We waited for over a year for Fresh&Co to open for we always had fresh and tasty experiences with their other locations. Not so in Yonkers. After numerous visits to the Yonkers location I feel I must provide some feedback so they can improve their customer experience. 1) Inconsistent food quality. During the early hours the food is fresh. The closer to the evening hours it seems they are not reFRESHing some foods that need refreshing. Specifically, yesterday their sweet potatoes were soggy. Their sprouts looked and tasted as if they had been out for days. The chicken was dry. 2) Poorly trained staff / attention to detail. It's been months to get this resolved. I understand it takes time to build a well trained and synchronized team. However, the staff is getting on the job training at the customers expense. And they are still getting orders wrong. The supervisor was constantly correcting food prep and register operation. Confusion is a good word to describe these moments of crisis. Twice they punched in the wrong order. And the last order which we placed online but received an incorrect dish they tried to blame on us. The customer. 3) Friendly is missing in many of their employees. Some greet you with energy and a smile. Unfortunately too many times I witnessed and experienced frowns and attitude. Made to feel as if one is disrupting their day. One can forgive making errors in an order if the team admits and corrects the errors with a smile and sincerity. I hope the aforementioned will help them. They have a great location at Boyce Thompson. Lots of businesses during the day and a fast growing population here in north Yonkers. read more

OK I want to be fair and honest! I stop going to this location for about a year the previous manager gave me discriminatory vibes. I started going here again because I was nearby and I heard there was a new manager. I have become so disappointed that I'm going to definitely stop coming here. The food quality is really decreasing this was my meal today. The girl who serve me was literally scraping the mac & cheese from the pan. I am so disappointed I do not think that this is worth $13. It's not enough food. I'm so mad at myself because I work very hard for my money and I spent $13 on this I could've went to McDonald's. It sucks because every time I go I'm so disappointed with everything. Proportions have to be a little bit bigger. I just feel like you're so expensive and the food is just not enough you're so skimpy with your portions. All of my coworkers feel as if the food quality is really spiraling down! Went there on opening day and although it looked crowded and chaotic there were many workers and they got us out of there quickly. I ordered the Mexican Caesar salad which was delicious and filling. I was also given a sample of split pea soup which was very tasty. The staff was friendly and I am looking forward to trying other things out. I anticipated the opening of fresh&co since I saw the "coming soon" sign months & months ago. I absolutely could not wait for them to open, because there aren't many casual healthy "fast" food options available in the area. The wait for this place to open was well worth it. The quality of the food is absolutely amazing, "fresh" for sure & so delicious. They offer a lot of very healthy, flavorful and customizable options - not to mention, plenty of vegan choices which are so hard to come by in general, but especially in the Boyce Thompson center. It's a much needed addition to the Yonkers food scene, and the proximity is close to a lot of businesses/schools/etc. which makes it the perfect place to pop by for lunch or a quick grab&go for dinner. They even have an app in which you can order ahead. It's comparable to Chopt which is just a ride down the sawmill, but in my humble opinion, so much better because of its variety and the quality of the produce they use & how it's prepared. The store itself is clean & well organized, and their staff is very friendly and helpful. I know it's still new and they want to set a good example, but first impressions definitely matter and I can foresee consistency, and also foresee myself spending a lot of $ here LOL. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of what you're getting. Don't hesitate to go!! Keep this place in business forever!! read more

What a wonderful addition to the renovated historical Boyce Thompson building. Delicious fresh fast food. Great for taking the kids for a bite or a quick weeknight dinner. A bit busy at lunchtime so be prepared to wait for a couple of minutes because each salad and sandwich is made to order. Last night I needed to bring food for a sick friend and I picked up a tuna sandwich on pumpernickel, a salad loaded with cranberries, walnuts and blue cheese and a healthy plate of hot food: salmon, yams and broccoli over brown rice. I wanted to start off by saying that I was so happy and relieved when I saw that in this area in Yonkers they were opening up a fresh and Company. I work-/ manage a steakhouse chain in New York City and there are plenty of sweet greens and fresh& companies there and for somebody like me who is trying to live a healthy life with organic and whole foods I was awaiting the arrival of this here in Yonkers by my home. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by 3 to 4 people behind the counter that were more than 5 feet away from me. ( My rule for my staff in my restaurant is the 5-10 feet rule; if they are within 5 feet you greet them by asking them how they are or saying hello etc. if they are within 10 feet just a smile and acknowledge.) I had told the woman that I needed a minute when she asked me if I was ready to order because I don't recall the last time I have been in a fresh and Co. she said oh don't worry let me take you through what we offer and how it works..(again very impressed with this staff and this technique as it is what we offer and what we do in the high-end restaurant that I manage and to see this in a small fast food place was extravagant and shockingly surprising.) I then began to ask for the toppings that I would like on my salad and when I came to jalapeños the woman said that they didn't have any. I was pretty bummed but then I asked if they could maybe find something else that was similar because I love spicy food. She then stated that they did not but there was a man standing next to them and said ( in a very polite and professional way ) are you sure there's none maybe you can check over there? She also could not find it on the other side of the salad bar so then he asked someone else to gather a jalapeño and chop it up for me. This was the icing on the cake for me I have never seen Customer Service like this in my entire life. Which I might add is very sad to say. I was able to shake his hand and personally thank him. I thought this might be the owner but he was only the manager and I must say that to the owner if you're reading this you definitely want to keep Stephen around ( I hope that's his name.) As a manager of a very high-end restaurant (which is definitely different from this small restaurant) I know how much passion and drive for ones job it takes to provide customer service the way that Stephen did for me today. The entire vibe from even the customers that were coming in and out of the store was just so positive and such a great way to start off my week on a Monday. If I could give this 10 stars I would. I hope that the customer service doesn't change I know how when restaurants first open it's usually always extremely great service- but I hope that is never changes!! I will definitely be back and will come out of my way to get to this location. Thank you again!!! What a disappointment. Staying at a local hotel I thought this would be a quick easy dinner. The staff seems very confused about their menu. Not very helpful though that they did seem friendly. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken which has decent taste but is very dry. The mac and cheese as a side is so salty I won't be able to finish it. The only other vegetables were broccoli or mushrooms. They were suggesting sweet potatoes or quinoa. One starch was enough. I would not recommend the restaurant. Wanted to try Fresh&Co as they are a relatively new eatery in my local area. They had a wide selection of options to choose from. However, when buying a $10 Açaí bowl, I did not expect to receive far less granola and açaí than many of their competitors. Instead of a wonderful açaí bowl, I received a slush of banana and cashew milk. SolBol on Central Park Ave has far better açaí bowls and should update their menu with inspiration from SolBol if they want to make an even half as good açaí bowl. $10 is ridiculous for a slush with less than a teaspoon of granola and 1 strawberry. On top of this, both of their card readers were not working, if using my card was going to be a problem then they should have advertised this beforehand instead of at the end of my order trying to swipe my card multiple times with no success when two seconds later I was able to make a purchase at Starbucks with my card with no problem. On top of this, it was clear that the worker serving me was very confused as he took a ridiculous amount of time to produce such a minuscule product. read more
