Expensive, but good gluten free pizza. Have ordered many times from the Manhattan Beach location

Came here for the first time last week. I had heard of Fresh Brothers before, but never had them until we ordered a pizza for pickup. I went with a Detroit style sausage pizza. I liked a few things and didn't like a few things. Here they are.......... Liked - The dough. This dough was fantastic! It had a great flavor and an awesome chew. Really, really, really good dough! - The sausage and cheese. Tasty toppings. Didn't Like - The price. $32.00 for an 8 slice pizza is pretty damn steep. I can get Jet's where I live for about $20.00. - The configuration of the cheese and toppings. While good, the cheese was a little skimp (not all the way to the edges) and the sausage was scattered randomly (some pieces had one piece of sausage, while others had 5). Did I like it? Yeah. Would it be way better if it was $20.00 instead of $32.00? Also, yeah. Not sure I would come back unless I had a coupon. read more

This location is really more of a pick up and go place. No fountain drinks so they only sell cans of sodas, etc. I always like a refill when I'm eating pizza so that's a downer for me. Parking is fairly easy, as long as the dance studio in the back isn't have a recital or larger practice session. Personal sized pizzas are enough for one hungry person. For light eaters, you might get two meals out of it. Small dining area inside, relatively quick service as it takes some time to cook a pizza. Next time we go, it will be for take-out because of the lack of refills / fountain drinks but the pizza was good and had plenty of toppings. Hope you get the one you like and...enjoy!!! read more

I have been to the FBs in Santa Monica and Brentwood and have always had a great time. This Manhattan Beach location is also excellent. My personal sized pizza and cheese sticks rocked. Both items were very fresh, really tasty and a great value, enough for two meals. Service by TJ and staff was friendly, professional and prompt. There is a good amount of parking in the shopping center lot. Recommended. read more

This place was in the same center as another place I went to in this center and I just had to try their pizza because I had never heard of them. I got the Detroit crust Da Works and it was fantastic! You can really taste the high-quality ingredients and they don't skimp on the amount of toppings they put on. I wish there was a location in my area! read more

I'm going with a 4 because it's super solid. Then gluten free crust is pretty good and the pizza sauce is on point. The have regular and vegan cheese, which is helpful. Now, the wings are where they score big time with me. The lemon pepper are always perfectly seasoned and crisped at this location. For real, for some reason, the wings made at this location are just better than at other FB locations. You can make a note on app for gluten free preparation and they always handle it and put a gluten free sticker on it, letting you know they saw the note and handled it. Parking is pretty easy in their lot. Final Word: It's all about the wings here. read more

8-mile individual pizza with a can of diet coke $17.50. Parking lot. 3 seating tables inside for 4+2+2. No garbage, no utensils readily available. Service was fast and friendly. Radio was on now it is off. Three pieces in total the individual 8 mile pizza is similar in size to a french bread pizza but this dough is very filling so I ate half. The cheese is the star of this show to me. There is a lot of seasoning perhaps oregano which may or may not be a key to whether one likes the Fresh Brothers pizza or not. Plenty of mild sausage, but not too much to overwhelm. The sauce is ok and a little more perhaps on the side for dipping crust is a good idea. Pizza is decent but this is a greedy business. They charge a 4.99 delivery fee and want a tip for delivery. Who is getting this money? The driver? The business? Or is it Uber? After you order your get a text with a link to let your Uber driver know your location and instructions. I'm spending over 8 bucks for a pizza to be delivered and have no idea who is getting paid that money. The guy making the delivery gave me the stink eye as he was expecting me to go in my pocket and tip him cash. This tipping scam is out of control. I'm done with this chain. I'll be ordering from only mom & pop pizza joints. Oh yeah, don't expect complementary Parmesan cheese or crushed red pepper. That is way too much money to give away for these guys. read more

This was my first time trying this place. It's very small 2 tables they had another small table but it had boxes and stuff on and around it. We actually missed it going down sepulveda and had to circle back to find it. Parking was no problem since it is in a shopping center. The employees were very nice. They had options for different type's of crust and toppings. I ordered their new triple pepperoni XL and 6 knots. I cannot believe I'm going to say this but on this pizza there was way too many pepperonis. It was so greasy, as soon as you picked your the pizza the grease just dripped right off it. I have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to grease on pizza so, I had one slice to try it. Plus the smaller pepperoni's on top were burned as you can see in the picture. Thankfully my family ordered the regular pepperoni pizza and their margarita pizza and they were both really good. I will go back and try something else just not the triple pepperoni. read more

We order from this place a lot. It is a good mix of value and quality when they do it right. They used to be 5 star, but then I saw a decline for awhile. They seem to have retooled and are trying to come back. I have never dined-in, but the delivery is always quick. They have a good choice of pizza toppings, salads, and other options. My sister and I used to bring our kids into Fresh Brothers regularly at the Redondo location. The manager, Brandon, was always so good to us, always made us feel welcome, never had any issues with our food. We were so sad to hear he was leaving. Whoever the new manager is, I think her name is Amy(?), consistently rude, dismissive, and acts like customers are a burden instead of the reason the store even exists. We actually switched locations just to get away from her, only to find out she's managing Manhattan too. Imagine how disappointing that is; to escape poor service only to be met with the exact same problem. Fresh Brothers needs to seriously reevaluate who they put in charge, because one bad manager is enough to drive away loyal customers. read more

Fresh Brothers is definitely more than 5 stars. Everything we dined on last evening was over the top. I developed garlic and cooked intolerances - my problem so I have to be selective with restaurants. Their staff did a work around with even a phone call to me asking for clarification. It worked, no issues. In today's life, this is huge for the personal attention, my thanks and appreciation. Ordered a vegan pizza w/ veg Mozzarella and veg pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers - and it was seriously the best pizza I've eaten in ages. They're called "Fresh Brothers" and the veggies did, in fact, seem very fresh. I'm eating the leftovers for breakfast right now. I might order another one this evening. read more

Ordering pizza through the Yelp app was very easy. I was very excited to see that our food could be ready sooner (in 15 minutes versus 40) if we went to pick it up ourselves, so that's what we did. There is plenty of parking outside of the store even with all of the construction going on next door, and pickup was quick and easy. Our pizzas were hot and done exactly as ordered. The kids love the mozzarella with tomatoes and basil added. We also love the Fresh Momma's Favorite, with the pesto marinara blend, garlic and spinach with chicken added. I love the skinny crust with vegan cheese so I'm always happy to see those options available. read more

This is some of the best pizza ever in Manhattan Beach. This used to be my favorite local pizza place. The quality of the pizza ingredients is still excellent and I love the very thin and limited crust on their original pizza. What I don't like is the service. The last two orders pick-up orders weren't ready when we arrived at the end of the window we were given. One order wasn't even started. Zero acknowledgement. When i questioned the delivery person he didn't respond, after a few more attempts it became clear poor man spoke no English. Fresh Brothers says they vendor out delivery and have no control over who shows up at my door delivering their food. I find that attitude a bit scary. read more

I've always liked Fresh Brothers since I've moved to the South Bay 7 years ago. Their pizzas are always solid and yet it's been years since we have ordered from them. Not because we had a bad experience or anything, we just seldom have pizzas but whenever we are in the mood Fresh Brothers is always my top pick! During the lock down the Mr and I decided to order from them. I like my pizzas cut in squares and had specified mine to be cut into squares. I left the Mr's pizza alone and did not leave a note, both of our pizzas ended up being cut into squares Hahahaha! I will be more specific next time to leave his alone in my notes. Ordered a delivery today for pizza and wings. We are staying at a nearby hotel and specifically requested plates, cheese and pepper. All 3 were missing. In addition our 12 mild wings order had only 10 wings and they were extra spicy. Very frustrating especially when you've planned portions for your group and kids won't touch spicy wings. The 313 Detroit was very good and a nice portion size for about 3 people if you have a side with it. Overall disappointed the order had paid items missing and incorrect. read more

We tried their classic pepperoni pizza and a side of garlic knots. The pizza was fantastic! The crust had a nice balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. We have been a customer here for years and have been disappointed with the quality of their food and a dramatic decline in their service of late. For example they're not using as many toppings on the pizzas as they used to while their prices have increased substantially. Also we have routinely had mistakes with our orders over the past 6-8 months and all they offer is an apology - not "we're sorry about the mixup with your order, how can we fix it?" - like most restaurants handle it. The final straw occurred a couple weeks ago when we got food poisoning from our last order. This was confirmed by our doctor the next day (and it was the only food we had in the last 18 hours) so suffice it to say, we will be finding a new, local pizza place. read more

I'm again really disappointed. I had tried pizza first time from Marina and decided to try another location. I love a good pizza with good toppings. I ordered a large with artichoke hearts, garlic, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, basil, mushrooms and red onions. It was like every piece of pizza only had 2-3 of the toppings. None of them had all the toppings. I've seen some photos where the pizzas are loaded with toppings and was told my first time I must have gotten an off pizza. Well it seems the pictures with pizzas loaded with toppings are what's rare. If I had a pizza like some in the photos I would be a repeat customer. At this point I'll stick with papa John's as they are much more generous with their toppings! If I was starving I'd eat it but I wouldn't waste my money to buy a weeknight pizza. read more

This place is a bit hidden, even though it's very obvious once you know it's next to Rubio's. It's not visible from the street and was hard to find. It's more of a take out/delivery place for two reasons: 1) the restaurant didn't have that much sitting space. 2) the inside of the pizza box had 3 different promo codes to use for online ordering, i.e., $5 off, $10 off, etc. So my pepperoni pizza was probably sitting for 30 min by the time I found it. And you know what...it was still really good and earned a rating of 4 stars from me. The pizza was cut into squares (I didn't ask but I liked that b/c it's easier to share pieces with more people with more slices). I ordered the thin crust which was still a decent firmness. The tomato sauce had lots of flavor and so did the pepperoni. Just order directly from the website, and not through a third party, because it will be cheaper, even if you don't have a promo code. I will definitely order again next time I'm in town (to visit my parents). read more

Ordered online, food was late by 25 minutes passed promised time and was cold, I watched my driver on the app go to 3 different drop offs before he got to mine, he delivered the food to the wrong unit and when I tried communicating this with him he didn't even speak English and was telling me to "Call Doordash" over and over, I didn't order through Doordash, those guys are sometimes not very efficient and always bring me my food cold cause they do so many drops at once and rarely use their hotbags, which is why I don't use them, so I called the store and they told me they don't have their own drivers anymore so you're forced to deal with 3rd party now and deal with a runaround, they offered to remake my order and redeliver it through Doordash, I came to get it myself. You're gonna lose a lot of customers delivering cold pizzas. Secondly, a lot of those 3rd party guys only grab orders with good tips attached, so unless your customers are tipping enough you're gonna have smaller orders with low tips getting a lot of refunds since no one wants to take them. I have been ordering from Fresh Brothers for 10 years at least and have never felt so frustrated trying to get my order. The staff was totally friendly and apologetic on the phone and remade my order for me so I don't blame them one bit but arguing with your delivery guy was an obnoxious experience, is this going to become a regular thing now? On top of that I noticed the prices just went up again. This pizza was already pretty pricey, you're paying nearly 50 bucks for an XL Da Works pizza after tax, my kids are getting Tillamook frozen pizzas from now on these prices are going to force me to get a second job just to afford "Pizza night" read more

My wife and I gave the thin crust combo pizza a shot and it was very solid - lightly chewy, thin crust loaded with fresh cheese and toppings. The baked wings were also well above average and plenty juicy inside. Would definitely recommend the lemon pepper and chili lime dry rubs. read more

What a weird experience. We went tonight and placed an order online. We fully paid online, but when we went to collect the order, they told us we owed an extra $1.04. You can see my screenshots of the online receipt vs. the paper receipt received with my order. For reference for any management reading this, it says "O Alondra" fulfilled our order. When the cashier told me I still had to pay $1.04, I told her I didn't understand why. I hadn't ordered anything extra and I fully paid the $38.96 online. I find it suspicious that my paper receipt read $40 even on it as well. This seems like manual input into the computer. The manager ended up coming by and actually accidentally refunded me about 9¢ because he couldn't figure out how to pass the order through on his end. Is this a system error? If you're buying from this location, double check what you're actually paying them. I scrolled on the register tablet and couldn't find where the extra charge came from. It just reminded my bf and I of several bad experiences we've had with restaurants in the area where random charges have been added to the bill without explanation. Side note, the sliders are really sad. Don't order them, they're bad. We got the chicken parmesan sliders and it's like a microwave chicken parm patty in a cold grocery store bun. The pizza we got was actually okay, so I would come back for that if I wanted a cheap cauliflower crust pizza. My bf thought the pepperoni one topping pizza tasted like a mozzarella stick though. read more
