I haven't dined here in a few years so yesterday I decided to dine in for lunch. I forgot how good the food is! I had the fresh corn grill salad with steak.... Delicious! The steak was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The salad had all of my favs mixed in.... Corn, asparagus, avocado, cherry tomatoes and steak. The portion was big, I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner later that evening. The place is really clean with indoor and outdoor seating (small patio area). There was a line (came on a weekday during lunch hour at 12pm), but once we ordered the food came out in about 10 minutes. You order first and then find somewhere to sit with your number visible on the table. They have street parking (meter) or valet. Highly recommend if you want something on the healthier side and if you're in the Westwood area. Plenty of options to satisfy your tastebuds.

Food was good, they do have big portions so something to keep in mind while ordering. Will definitely be back soon. Came here for a lunch outing with my team it was great

Great spot for a quick meal in the Westwood area, whether it's lunch or after work. I stopped by with friends on a Monday around 6pm and was surprised there was no line to order. We tried the sun-dried tomato pasta and it was delicious. The space is clean with plenty of self seating. Parking can be a bit tricky since it's right on the main street with mostly metered spots, but they offer valet for $3 for two hours, which is very reasonable and plenty of time to grab a bite.

Just had to leave a shout-out for one of my top Doordash options for lunch due to the choice of substituting penne pasta for spaghetti squash, the restaurant staff taking the time and effort to label names on the entrees which is so helpful for group orders, and of course, how great the food is. The flavor of the sundried tomato pasta sauce in particular is so incredibly delicious with lots of depth to it - multiple people walking by have commented on how good my lunch smells (and they're right). Though the chicken to me seemed a bit dry, adding the shrimp is really the best way to go because of how well cooked and sizable they are (please admire in photo). I've enjoyed the fresh corn grill salad as well as their specialty plates but the consistency in quality and satisfying portion of the sundried tomato pasta is what compelled me to write this review and why I choose to keep reordering from this place instead of trying a new spot.

Went there around 8pm before they closed with my best friend and her partner. The food was very healthy and the server was ok. The environment was not busy. The food was good. We like it. I doesn't like the sauce thy have. Maybe personal preference.

I recently ordered takeout from Fresh Corn Grill, and I must say, the experience was a true highlight! The restaurant successfully delivered on its promise of fresh, high-quality ingredients, making for a delicious and convenient meal. I opted for the steak plate, and it traveled exceptionally well. The steak was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and seasoned just right--demonstrating a commitment to quality protein that holds up even in a takeout container.

Ordered delivery, half soup half salad... soup not pictured but the portions for both were substantial! Delicious too. I can't believe this is a half salad

I stopped by on a Monday evening to grab dinner with some friends. There were a few people inside and plenty of seating options, including an outdoor patio. You place your order at the register first, then they give you a number stand and you find a seat. Once you are seated, they bring out your food and utensils. I ordered the sun-dried tomato pasta with chicken and a Coke. The pasta was hearty, saucy, and delicious. They also offer pizza, salads, and soup so there are plenty of options to choose from. Once we finished eating, the staff came by to clear the table and brought us boxes and bags for our leftovers.

Haha! Came back after many years, and the food is actually as good as I remembered when they were in a small shop few blocks down.Played it safe and ordered chicken with mushrooms / mashed potatoes, and a must have Corn. To my surprise chicken was a good size mushroom and corn were great as I remembered. The following day ordered the same thing to see how well the consistency holds, but ordered Brussels instead of mashed. They were tough and not too tasty, but the chicken was tougher and sides were still good. Next I will try the steak and we will see. Not going to try salmon cause I know the size will disappoint. Also the Caribbean sauce is still better than Korean bbq sauce.

Seen this place as I've driven down Westwood Blvd and wanted to try it. Unfortunately when we were standing at the order area a customer was complaining about how they never get her order right. She was there for at least two minutes. Menu is on the wall with no description of each item. Ordered corn chowder and Cobb salad . Hubby had mushroom fettuccine. Soup was very watery but tasty not a chowder which was I was expecting. Salad was good with lots of avocado and chicken. Fettuccine was good with a garlicky, cheesy but sauce was thin. Big portion of pasta. Not sure if I would return.

First timer and ordered the sun-dried tomato pasta just to be safe but after taking the first bite, I quickly regretted it. It heavily lacked flavor and the bread was hard and dry. I can't speak to the service and ambiance since I got it delivered but am open to trying again, just not that dish! Good portion side though for the price!

How can you go wrong with this? Skirt, steak, corn, asparagus.

The inside was full so we sat outside, luckily the sun wasn't really bright and full, otherwise it would've been too hot to be outside. We got a table for 6 because there were 5 of us. We ordered water but also an orange juice, they had house made sodas but we thought hydrating with water on a hot day is better. We got an appetizer to share, white bean dip, with oregano flatbread. It was delicious, it reminded me of a thick bean soup and it had beets, orange slices, and walnuts. I ordered the chicken piccata, the others ordered lamb pita and a burger. If you want to replace a different protein for a dish like salad or pasta, there's a fee which they said follows the add options not replacement options. The chicken piccata came with risotto, I usually don't order risotto on its own so happy to have it as a side, it was a bit hard and a few bites were chalky, but the rest were good. Loved the broccolini with capers, and left the lemon alone. Chicken was tender but also very small, but still deliciously flavored. Very attentive staff, wonderful ambiance with a nice breeze and nature surrounding our table. I think it's a very relaxing break from the other places we could've chosen in Westwood. The place is also does not charge for gratuity which is surprising with the great service included. May try to come back to treat a great coworker or come as a team!

I love the little animal paintings on the wall, and the wall made of books. It wasn't too busy the day we went, which was nice since it wasn't too loud. Now the food.... well that's the whole reason I'm writing this! I'm used to having dry af salmon at restaurants but this place blew my mind! I didn't know you were able to have your salmon cooked medium rare or well (like a normal steak), so when I was asked that I was taken back. I believed I chose on having it cooked medium. The whole dish -- flaky salmon, creamy cauliflower smash, well seasoned greens -- was an experience from start to finish. I haven't had a salmon dish that delicious in AGES!! Someone in the kitchen got down that day, so hats off to the chef! My fam was satisfied & they enjoyed their dishes as well. Unfortunately there was a mishap where some appetizers weren't brought out but we resolved that. The waiter was attentive & kind (and really handsome lol) I really wish I remembered his name, but he made the experience memorable as well. He was kind enough to step away from his duties to take a few group photos of my family. I'll def come back again, and next time I'll try their drinks!

We were greeted and seated quickly. The girl getting our water could not remember if we ordered ice or not. Two trips later, the three of us had water. Our server approached us quickly but we were not ready to order. From this point on, it was like we were invisible. We ordered one appetizer (Guacamole Fresca w/ chips), a burger and the short rib grilled cheese. Our entrees were served ahead of our chips and guacamole when I commented, we were told they were still working on the appetizer. Seems odd that it takes more time to serve chips and guacamole than it does to prepare the entrees. No apology or acknowledgement from any staff members. My beer glass and my son's water glass sat empty for 10 minutes. When we asked for refills, it took nearly another 10 minutes to receive the beverages. Our server NEVER came to check on us. We were NEVER asked how we were doing or if we wanted dessert. When asking for our check, the server had to bypass us twice and then told us that we had to fill out the receipt before the card could be run. In a city with so many dining choices, service is as important as food quality and taste. The new management has work to do or this will be another failed restaurant. We will NOT be returning.

Service was fine, but nothing special. We were greeted, seated and the waitress took our orders. Once the food arrived, our waitress barely came by again except towards the end to drop off our check. Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.
