BLT w/xtra bacon & xtra tomatoes
    Kayla W.

Went to tasty freeze because it's a work night and didn't want to cook. A yummy BLT with extra bacon and extra tomatoes and fries sounded tasty! Just terrible. I could have made it better at home. The bacon is charcoal on one side of the sandmich and undercooked on the other side. No xtra bacon, no xtra tomatoes. Did get xtra grease soaked bread. What a waste of food, time, and money. 9 months ago was my first time here. It was BOMB.COM. I've recommended to everyone since then. What happened?

THE BEST HOT DOGS!! I haven't had a hotdog done this good in a longtime! It doesn't look super appetizing, but the first bit was a reminder of what a hotdog should be !

Friendly counter service. Order at window and they'll call your name when your order is ready. Four outside tables plus additional seating, with four inside tables and 8 counter spaces. High chairs available. Preparation seemed like it took a long time and they weren't busy at all. Cheeseburgers were tasty. Fries were just okay. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit they were out of onion rings, so we didn't get to try them. Will likely try those or fried zucchini on a subsequent visit.

Classic cheeseburger that's very tasty! Always good spot to stop on a hot day for some cold ice cream.

Parking is plentiful and the location makes it convenient to grab from downtown. My favorite part of the menu was that fact that you can order a flight of ice cream, which are priced at $6 for 4 scoops or $11.50 for 8 scoops. It's a GREAT way to have customers try different flavors without overwhelming the sample spoons (PS I don't think this place does samples). I ordered a 4 flight of Mango Habanero, Chocolate Hazelnut, Dream Sweet Cream, and Cherry. The Mango Habanero had a good occasional kick of habaneros in an otherwise sweet ice cream. The chocolate hazelnut was dark but not very nutty - I think it's a safe pick. The sweet cream tasted like a mcdonald's ice cream cone (but perhaps healthier), and the cherry flavor can be avoided as it didn't taste like anything close to cherry. The line was a little slower than expected, but the pricing is very fair, especially for the flights. Service was friendly, and I think their menu changes some flavors ever so often.

See picture of what my daughter got. Ambiance - Decent size location. We got here late so we were almost the only customers. Plenty of parking, but again, we got here extremely late. Open 7 days a week from noon to 10pm or 11pm. Service - Good; the two ladies/girls were very professional and hard working. Offered us samples, etc. Self service with yogurt machines and toppings. Price - $10, expensive, but expected. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success and with all your locations.

It's self service. You pick which frozen yogurt or sorbet you want, choose what toppings you want, how much you want, and you pay by the ounce. I had the yellow birthday cake, frozen yogurt, with fruity pebbles, toasted, and regular coconut. I had about 10 ounces, and it was more than enough. It was very tasty. They also have crêpes, smoothies, and other things on the menu as well. Prices are reasonable, and they also offer a military/veterans discount. I'm a fan. I will be back. Thank you!

A solid 3 1/2 stars, due to a couple of small hiccups. I've wanted to come in here for some…read moretime, but I was unable to make it into the restaurant, so I decided to do a DoorDash. The first hiccup, was the restaurant is less than 10 minutes from our place, yet from the time I ordered to the time the food came, it was just under an hour. Plus, it was after lunchtime on a Saturday, which should've meant that the place should have been less busy That's a long wait for a short distance. The food itself was pretty good. My first order was the cod, fritters. The flavor was good. I could definitely taste the cod. What I didn't care for, was the texture. They were pretty gummy. I don't know if that's how they are supposed to be or not, but I was not a fan of the texture. They did come with a red sauce for dipping, but it was a bit too spicy for me. On the other end of the spectrum, however, was the curried goat, which I loved. I called ahead to ask if it was spicy, and they said, not really. And they were right. It wasn't really that spicy. It was a mellow spice that made my forehead sweat just a little bit, but well within what I like for spicy. The flavor itself was fantastic. The goat was bone in, but it was so tender. It was literally falling off the bone. Goat can be gamey, but this wasn't. It had a nice mellow flavor. There was also a gravy, which had a deep, rich flavor, and the rice had a good texture and a nice flavor also. It didn't taste like plain white rice. Overall, even with the delivery cost, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely order from here again, but the next time I would go into the restaurant instead of doing delivery. Also, while I liked the flavor of the cod, fritters, next time I would order something else. Thank you so much for an overall good meal.

We showed up at around 1:30 on a Saturday and tried to open the door to find it locked. We saw workers inside, so we were a little confused. We just waited outside for a little bit, trying to research another place to grab lunch. About five minutes later, one of the workers invited us inside. I decided to get the sampler platter. It came with plantains, jerk chicken, cod fritters, and vegetables. The sauce that it came with was so unbearably spicy, so I'd definitely recommend avoiding this if you can't handle spice. The food was something different than what I'm used to, but I really enjoyed the plantains! Service was on the slower side, and they forgot one of our dishes, which ended up being fine. The inside of the restaurant felt very clean and open.

2 of 2 Yelp reviews…read more Quality/Quantity - A suggestion from Humboldt Bay Provisions and a home run! Today we got the following: Spicy Garlic Chicken Fries - #1 seller, so I have to try. Boy have I been eating so unhealthy on this trip, but you know that because you are following. Is that part of the reason I am having so much fun? This did not disappoint. I did not think it was very spicy, but my daughter said it was too spicy for her. Good thing she ordered the mild version of garlic chicken; see below. Decent portions. Garlic Chicken - A more mild version of the above. But with rice and mac rather than fries. A slightly healthier version. Ahi Poke Bowl - My wife's choice. Generous portions, especially the tuna; thank you. Because this is raw, we "forced" ourselves to finish this dish first. So good. And to wash it down, supporting local, Sticky Finger IPA.
