    Frogs Bag of goodies
    Yasmin D.

I had the pleasure to finally stop by Frogs stall at the Torrance Farmers Market one Saturday. I got a cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant. Yes, the croissant was flaky and you won't go wrong with it. I haven't tried the cinnamon roll so I'll review that later. It was finally good to have tried the croissant. I will come back Saturday again to try the other baked goods. Oh and yes! I got them for $1 each since it was nearing closing time!

Came here to get some coffee and croissant before brunch nearby. They're closing soon so not much left to get. The coffee is great, the baked goods are yummy and delish. Great service with smile. Will come back whenever in the area in the morning to checkout their other goodies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place smell delish and great friendly vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Vegan here. Their vegan options vary by day so I always ask ! My personal favorite is the almond croissant and I always get it when available!! Nonetheless all the vegan options are yummy . The cinnamon roll is very good as well. Not like the soft plush cinnamon roll you're probably used to . It's more of a flaky pastry with so many soft layers and a nice drizzled glaze on top. Service is always quick and easy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store itself is small but it's nice to be able to see all the selection displayed in the front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The vegan options I don't usually see , which is why I always ask!

Almond Croissant + Pistachio Morning Bun

I love visiting my local Torrance Farmers Market. Exploring the variety of fruit and vegetable stands, along with the various food stalls, is always one of my favorite activities. One standout vendor is Frogs Organic Bakery, known for its fresh-baked goods. One Saturday, I noticed a super long line at Frogs Organic Bakery. Curious about the buzz, I decided to see what all the hype was about. That's when I spotted their enormous croissants, which instantly caught my attention. I made a mental note to come back and try them. Fast forward to the first weekend of 2025! I made my first trip to the Torrance Farmers Market for the year and stopped by the Frogs Organic Bakery stall. The giant croissants were hard to miss, so I decided to try an almond croissant for $6. The large Pistachio Morning Bun also looked tempting, so I picked one up as well, also for $6. Of the two, the Almond Croissant was my favorite. From the first bite, the sweet almond paste inside stole the show. The paste was smooth, sweet, and perfectly balanced. This almond croissant is a winner! The Pistachio Morning Bun, on the other hand, didn't quite meet my expectations. While the generous coating of pistachios on the outside initially drew me in, the flavor was just okay. The bread itself was very airy and light, but it lacked the richness I had hoped for. Overall, I enjoyed trying out Frogs Organic Bakery. If I visit again, I'd definitely grab another Almond Croissant or perhaps try their Strawberry Croissant, which also looked delicious.

    I'm in love with Frogs!

First time today for me at Frogs Organic Bakery at the Certified Farmers Market in Tustin. The 3 beignets were absolutely delicious and the dough is truly amazing. I also picked up a nice baguette and looking forward to eating with dinner tonight.

Both my parents love this place, even telling me that their chocolate croissants are better than the ones in Paris (and they visit France often). I tried it and it was good and paired well with coffee. The regular croissants here definitely look refined and elegant. I'm partial to ham and cheese and theirs was great! Service was friendly.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This cute little bakery is tucked away in the most unseemingly location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But once you find it, you can find a wide selection of pastries. They offer unique flavors like almond, pistachio, ham and cheese, and more. You can also opt to get your croissant filled with flavored cream filling. Service was great and it's a small shop but runs efficiently. I do with the ham and cheese croissants were stuffed a bit more as it seemed to have only a small slice of ham. The almond croissant was flavorful and would get again.

First time visit. I stop by to get my team some pastries. I got there around 7:45am and there were so many options they all looked delicious! I was greeted by a lovely soul named Lisa. She was very positive and friendly (love this early morning). I explained what I was looking for and she made it happened! I didn't realize that this is a location where you can just pick up and order through like a small window/port. Upon arrival there was one person being helped. I had a large order and I saw 2 more people line up after me who started chatting as I turned and informed them I was getting a large order. The folks in line were also friendly saying it's always good to come early because they sell out quickly and the patrons are delicious. My team and I loved the pastries! I will definitely return! The amazing part is the bread doesn't make you feel heavy in fact it's light even when you had a whole croissant! The taste was delicious for the ones I tried. Great service and Food! Definitely worth stopping by! Go early so you can have options.

It's a small shop but there are tons of options and delicious pastries! The cinnamon roll was huge. It had a nice crispiness and sweetness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No indoor seating but there's a couple of outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be limited.

A delicious basket of rolls from Frogs that was a huge hit at Thanksgiving.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Frogs has an unassuming location but inside you will find croissant paradise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My personal favorites are the chocolate and almond croissants but even the plain croissants are an experience. Their breads and rolls are also amazing and we have picked them up to bring to Thanksgiving or other group dinners. They're always a hit. Great service from the helpful cashiers who are always up for answering questions or making recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a few small tables outside but you may want to take your items to go and eat elsewhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Pastries are delicious, so fresh and tasty. I have tried many of their pastries and never left a review. They need 10 Stars. I got them at the Alhambra Farmers Market the ladies are always so sweet and welcoming. I recommend so much to go get some Pastries. Will visit the actual bakery soon..

Carb me up! Lol. There were two bread vendors at the Torrance Farmers Market this week. The competing one didn't have any labels on their bread but, was available to answer any questions. I walked around and found Frog's Bakery and their items are clearly labeled. Both vendors had that lovely smell of fresh bread. At Frog's I was also greeted and the breads I was interested in both were made with whole what flour. There are also gluten free options for those that require that. French baguettes and individual breakfast breads were also on hand. The representative said it was a slow morning and offered me a deal (buy one get one free). That was amazing because normally folks at the farmers market are buying their goods. A few days later, my breads are still tasting and smelling amazing especially after toasting them. They are also great dipped in olive oil. From other reviews, I am informed they have a local industrial location where breads are available for sale during business hours. I would definitely return to the Farmers Market for their bread!

I stopped by on a Friday early afternoon to pick up a flan for my daughter's birthday celebration. There was no wait, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. On my second and most recent visit, I tried their vanilla and chocolate conchas. I really liked both of these classic flavors. They weren't too sweet, and the conchas were freshly made and still warm when I got them. They pair really well with hot coffee. I haven't tried the coffee here because I usually like eating my concha with black coffee, creamer, and Splenda. I also love dipping my concha in my coffee, so I picked up a hot coffee from McDonald's next door instead. Customer service is good, and the staff have been pleasant both times I've visited. However, during my last visit, only one staff member was working. I went in the morning before work, so it was during the breakfast rush. I had to wait about 10 minutes just to place my order because he was taking orders and preparing the food, and the two people ahead of me had ordered a big box of conchas. It wasn't his fault, and I honestly felt bad that he was working by himself. I hope management makes sure there is enough staff, especially during the busy hours.

I was so surprised by the location because from the outside, it looks a little run down and I don't imagine myself stumbling across this place unless if I was looking real hard for it, but I was so happy to have come here. First off, I've heard not from my friend Cindy but also another friend that this is probably the most tastiest, hand-made mochi spot. They have an array of delicious mochi desserts ranging from matcha flavored to the more generic snow mochi with red bean as well. I was stuffed from my lunch but managed to grab three different types of mochi and I cannot wait to go back again to try the other flavors. This place is a total gem, and if you haven't been yet, you are seriously missing out! Let me tell you about the star of my visit, the Matcha Cream Filled Croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is on another level. The croissant itself is buttery, perfectly golden, and incredibly flaky -- with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. But the matcha cream filling? Silky smooth, lusciously rich, with a beautiful earthy matcha flavor that isn't overpowering or too sweet. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-chew just to appreciate how good it is. I honestly could eat three of these in a sitting. The Korean-American fusion approach to their baked goods is inspired and completely unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay or in Gardena. Seriously Impressive, I paired my croissant with their Iced Matcha Latte, made with premium grade matcha sourced from Jeju Island, and WOW, this drink is stunning. It's vibrant, beautifully layered, and tastes as amazing as it looks. The matcha is bold and authentic without being bitter, perfectly balanced with creamy, cold milk. Not too sweet, not too earthy -- just absolutely perfect. It's easily one of the best iced matcha drinks I've had in a while. You can customize your milk choice too, which is a great thoughtful touch. This place is warm & welcoming: The staff here is attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The baristas are well-trained and knowledgeable, they took their time explaining the menu and made sure my order was exactly right. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. Decor is absolutely Charming. The interior of Smoking Tiger is adorable and so well thought out. It's modern, clean, and stylish with a cozy Korean café aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard. The lighting is warm and inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay for hours. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is a great bonus. Whether you're catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just treating yourself to something special, this place sets the perfect mood. One thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean this café is. The tables, counters, floors, and display cases were all sparkling, it's clear that the team takes real pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for every guest. A clean café is a happy café, and this one passes with flying colors. Bottom Line, Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is the real deal. Creative, high-quality food, exceptional drinks, warm service, gorgeous decor, and a spotless space, this place checks every single box. The Matcha Cream Filled Croissant and Iced Matcha Latte alone are worth the trip. Do yourself a favor and go try yourself. Miguel C.

The service wasn't great and only one drink was good or correct. I'm still not 100% sure one of…read morethem was the correct drink. I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

The shaved ice was incredibly light and fluffy, and the combination of fresh blueberries, yogurt, and granola made it refreshing without being overly sweet. The Hojicha Bingsoo was a nice contrast. The roasted tea flavor paired really well with the sweet red bean and crispy puffed rice, making it a great choice if you enjoy deeper, earthy flavors. That said, if I had to pick just one, I'd still go with the Matcha Bingsoo - it remains my favorite here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the café was clean and inviting. If you're craving bingsoo, Noon Korean Bingsoo is the place to go. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.
