They are usually at Farmer's markets. If you miss the farmer's market you come to their bakery factory warehouse to buy their baked goods. I've enjoyed their chocolate croissants, raisin bread, Sourdough loaf bread, and they even have gluten free bread. Their breads and pastries are pretty good. They use organic flour. This is not your normal bakery in a shopping center. It's in the industrial area next to car auto shops. They are open to the public. read more

I decided to come back to give Frogs another shot after I left a bit disappointed my first time, and I'm glad I did! I've actually come back a few times now since actually! I love the assortment of Pastries you can choose from, and from time to time they mix it up. Staff is upbeat and friendly. I recommend the cinammon Bun, the scones, and ham and cheese! I felt the Rasberry Croissant could use more of the Rasberry flavor coming through, but still delicious. I still wish they had some indoor dining area and some great coffee options to go with the delicious pastries. This is essentially a commercial kitchen with an order window, but they do have some seating if you'd like to stay for s bit, but for most part it's grab and go. The #1 reason you should come here in my opinion is that you won't find a better place that offers these prices for the quality of Pastries. Check out the prices on the menu of some of the pictures you'll see on their Yelp business page. $3 for an artisan pastry in 2024?! For the value-conscious, who love Pastries, Frogs is a MUST! I ordered via email 2 days ago and picked up at factory on Crenshaw. There are parking in front also you can park on street for sure. I ordered 2 vegan chocolate croissants, 2 almond croissants and fitness bread. Unfortunately they put vegan croissants instead of almond croissants. When I emailed they placed order wrong and they replied quickly for refund. Great but they said they don't have almond croissants today. I don't see the purpose of ordering 2 days ago. Well, it's ok maybe they didn't have almond and I totally understand. Just appreciate they have a great customer service. Vegan chocolate croissant was so yum! Fluffy and moist at the same time with crispy outside. I'm a fan!!!! I haven't tried fitness yet but my husband loved it. While waiting to get our car repaired, I spotted the organic bakery sign on the street. So, I decided to stop by and boy am I glad I did. The employee who served me was friendly and nice. The place is small but smells enticing causing me to buy a little of everything . The freshness of the products is amazing! So far I nibbled on my cinnamon roll and cheese danish....AMAZING!!! This little gem is most likely a spot you drove past plenty of times if you live in the area, then one day you'll see this huge painted mural of a baker and put 2 & 2 together that Frogs is a bakery open to the public. This is most definitely an early Sunday morning spot for when I want a good pastry to take home and relax on a Sunday with a nice cup of coffee. When you walk in you will see all the fresh baked pastry showcased and then you will have the dilemma of what to choose. I suggest you to look at the menu from their website and decide them, then I would suggest you have a plan b just in case you get there late and they're sold out. So far everything I've eaten from here is delicious, especially the pistachio roll which I suggest you eat the same day sough slightly warm and have a napkin ready because once you start unrolling be prepared for all the goodness. Make sure to look for Eliza, she's so sweet and helpful and will make suggestions based off what you have the taste for. Officially addicted and dreaming about when I can visit next. I tried the plain vegan croissant, vegan almond croissant, vegan cinnamon roll, and vegan chocolate croissant. Top favorite was the vegan almond croissant, which is filled with a decadent buttery almond spread. Also loved the plain vegan croissant. The pastries aren't overly sweet because they have that perfect level of saltiness. Highly recommend reheating in the toaster oven/air fryer on low heat to perk up all those flaky layers. My wife and I just moved To the South Bay and were bummed that lodge bakery or Bianca didn't have locations in the area. Enter Frogs on Crenshaw. Super close to our house, this place was a godsend. Amazing pastries (you must try the chocolate almond croissant and the pistachio pastry). Sourdough bread is very good and airy, and the staff super friendly. The one downside is the parking, which they share with an auto shop. Sometimes there are no spots which forces me to drive right by. Other than that, this place rocks. read more

Organic stuff. Great. Covid safety measures. Not so much. They don't enforce mask wearing of customers when it was state mandated. Their worker at the front doesn't wear a mask either. She stands there and talks over all the food so you can imagine what gets in the pastries. It's less about the law but more about common sense working with food. I've stopped by their booth at the Redondo Beach farmer's market, and everything has been so good. Perfect with a coffee on a Sunday morning. So far some of the things I've tried are their croissant, a scone and a pistachio pastry thing (forgot the exact name lol). All delicious and huge. Holy heck! This place has the best croissants I have had since moving to the South Bay 3 years ago. I have tried croissants in bougie bakeries in the Beach Cities and Frog's beats them all in a heartbeat. I had the chocolate almond and the spinach cheese filled croissants. Absolutely phenomenal. I've picked up a few things from Frog's over a few years and it has been good enough, but not great. The Pistachio Bun has a lovely bread texture and flavor, but I always wanted a little more touch of sweetness. The Almond Croissant, while very, very good, is much too sweet and I have to pull much of the almond filling out. I started stopping at another bakery before I get to the farmers' market so I haven't been getting anything from them for a while. A couple of weeks ago that bakery didn't have any baguettes. When I saw the baguettes at Frog's I thought, yes, an organic, French bakery. Their baguette should be better than anything I can get from the grocery store. I picked one up. It was dreadful. Fortunately, I had a baguette in the freezer that I pulled out once I tasted the fresh baguette. I like a baguette with a toothy crust. I like a baguette bread texture that has some tug and flavor. The Frog baguette (on the bottom row) looked, tasted, and felt (on the tongue) like an inexpensive loaf I could purchase as an off-name brand at a regular grocery store. It was just white bread in the shape of a baguette. And not inexpensive either. I let it dry out and pulverized it into bread crumbs. read more

Let me just start off my saying the pastries here are AMAZING! I got the Pistachio Croissant ($3) and definitely worth it. Although, I would like more of a pistachio filling. I had such a hard time deciding what to get from their pastry selection. Definitely, a place to go for croissants, scones, muffins and breads. I had Yelped this spot before leaving my house and was happy to see that they have their own roast of coffee. I love independent coffee roasters and retailers and am always game to support! But, I am a coffee snob--if you say your business has premium coffee for premium prices, I expect all the accouterments (sugar selections, milk/cream selection and at the very least, pour over service to cover low volumes of coffee customers). I was super excited to have my morning coffee and pastry! The coffee was the first thing I ordered since I thought it would allow me time to decide on which pastry I wanted. Needless to say, I was disappointed to see the coffee poured out of a Mr. Coffee coffee pot and into a Styrofoam cup with a mismatching lid. It was lukewarm. I had to ask for a bit if milk which was added for me--in the kitchen(?). The coffee itself was not bad...even though it was not hot. What has me so bummed is that a lot of the coffee dribbled out from the mismatched coffee container they use. There was a coffee puddle in my car cupholder. I know how hard it is to survive with the pandemic but we are living in a takeaway culture---they should use better cups. I won't be back for the coffee...the pastries? Yes. read more
