Decided to try this place out with my friends because they were raving about it. The soft serve was incredible! And I loved the variety of flavors they offered. However, the service was rude and curt while we took a minute deciding on what we wanted (despite there being no one else in line behind us). I've never seen service stare at customers up and down, and blatantly roll their eyes! They did serve us pretty fast but everyone in my group felt uncomfortable by their demeanor throughout the entire transaction that we decided we would rather sit outside in the chilly breeze than eat inside with unwelcoming and (possibly) racist service. We are very open and tolerant people and did not credit their behavior to the fact that we were Muslims, but couldn't help feel a wave of offense as we watched Caucasian high schoolers get treated with smiles, genuine welcoming, and great customer service. Despite the ice cream being satisfactory, there is no way I will put a dollar into a business that makes me feel unwelcome for my appearance or belief. I would rather go to a McDonald's. read more

This icecream is sooooo good! During Covid-19, you have to wait in line outside and order at the window, then go around to the pickup window. Everyone in line wore masks. Its safe! After hearing from friends of mine about Frostie Moose and saying that it was good I thought I would give this place a try. I was somewhat disappointed with this place. The portion sizes were somewhat small compared to similar soft serve ice cream places (Nathan's and Kline's). I also thought it was an exact copy of Nathan's, but Frostie Moose didn't stand out as any different. Honestly, I think that both Nathan's and Kline's both are one step up of this place. If Frostie Moose wants to have the popularity that Nathan's and Kline's have, then they need to have something different, new, and delicious! Soft serve ice cream joint that is clearly beloved by locals as evident by a long but fast- moving line on a Friday evening. I had the mint and it tasted pretty good; it definitely reminded me of McDonald's shamrock shake. The store is cute with a large mural on the wall. Lots of families and kids there who seemed to know the staff well. These positives are the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. The staff was friendly enough- they very nicely told me their coffee ice cream was out so I settled on the mint. No big deal. I understand. So We paid, stepped aside and waited for our ice cream. And watched as the customer right behind us ordered coffee ice cream and got their order immediately handed to them. I'm not sure WHAT is going on there, I didn't want to confront the staff over something as petty as ice cream flavors but it did kind of eat at me and it ruined my mood for the rest of the evening. I'm far from the person who calls "racist", but after that happened I noticed everyone behind the counter as well as all the other customers in the store are white and I'm Asian. The staff treated my boys and I like were were bothersome...and was annoyed while my youngest son decided on his flavor. However not at the expense of Paying customers. Came in yesterday with my family, a large group so I understand it can be hectic for a big order. This was my second time there, first time, it was a great experience so I had to come back and bring the rest of my family for some sweet treats!
