Popular place = slow to get in and slow service. Staff is friendly but is not concerned with how long things take. As long as you don't care either, you will enjoy this spot. We were there to chill. We ordered right away then finished our coffees before the food showed up. We do recommend the whipped feta pictured.

We visited this Frothy Monkey location 2-3 times while visiting Nashville. It was right across the street from our hotel, making it very convenient to run across for our morning coffee! There is quite a bit of seating inside, it definitely looks smaller from the outside than it is. There's also an adorable outdoor patio with a good amount of tables. Our service was always friendly each time we went in. Mornings seemed pretty busy, there was usually a line. But as the day went on you could pop in for a drink or snack and there would be no wait. I enjoyed my coffees each day and loved the seasonal offerings they had as well! My daughter tried the chorizo biscuits and gravy one morning too and said they were very good! All in all, a cute location, great service, yummy food and drinks!

This place is always so busy on the weekends and for good reason! Its a cool spot with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a to go line. The food and drinks are always good. The lattes are delicious. I've had a variety of food options like their salmon sandwich, the biscuit board, and the royale sandwich. All super tasty and worth the wait!

Great breakfast spot with inside and outside dining options. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks. Get the biscuit board to start off your meal!

First off, I absolutely love the interior of Frothy Monkey, it's super cozy with lots of indoor and patio seating. I got the chai tea with oat milk and I will say that the drink was quite oat milk heavy, I really couldn't taste too much of the chai which is unfortunate since this drink was about $7. The initial taste was great, but when mixed in with everything else it was just a bit bland. It would be great if they offered to add different flavorings as well or add that to the menu. Otherwise I love the ambiance and would definitely go back for a different drink!

Stopped into Frothy Monkey right at opening to get some work done before meeting a colleague for coffee and breakfast, and it was the perfect choice. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially considering I had my luggage with me. Such a thoughtful first impression. I started with the Havana Latte, which was warm, creamy, and super comforting. The hint of star anise really made it stand out and feel a little special. For food, I went with the farm breakfast with bacon. It was simple, hearty, and hit the spot. Great atmosphere for getting work done, friendly service, and quality coffee and food. An easy go-to if you're in Nashville

This location was so crowded but luckily we were only grabbing drinks to go (still took us a while though)! Most of us grabbed the monkey mocha and one grabbed the havana latte. Monkey mocha was delicious, the banana flavoring doesn't taste artificial (feel like that's rare), and pairs great with the strong mocha. The service was kind and efficient, which I really appreciate because again they were so crowded!

This is a really cute brunch spot in a prime location. It was a 45 minute wait on a Saturday morning (they don't have reservations), but they seated us in about 25. From there the service was just ok, as it was obviously very busy, but the inside was just as cute as the outside. The line to just get a to-go coffee was out the door and probably upwards of 30-45 minutes long, so I would probably find a new place if you're looking for something quick. Their coffee and food was really delicious! I think my favorite was the biscuit board-- I know bread and jam is simple, but it really was spectacular. My omelette was also pretty good but nothing special.

The pesto pasta was too good! So filling and flavorful. Smash burger was delicious. Juicy and great with extra bacon added. The grilled cheese was standout and yum with the tomato soup. Soup was alright but grilled cheese was better

Latte was really sweet, sweeter than I expected based on past reviews so I didn't get my normal half sweet latte. Service was okay, it was super busy so I am taking that into account. It's a nice coffee shop with plants everywhere.

Amazing food in the 12 South neighborhood! They serve brunch till 5 PM which was convenient since we were having trouble finding a brunch spot without a long wait. Also the server told me I was serving in my ID soo slay

We stopped at Frothy Monkey for a late breakfast and had a great experience! The hostess was super friendly and welcoming. While we waited for our table, we hopped in the to-go line for some drinks -- a Golden Monkey Latte, a Rosemary Honey Latte, and a Berry Good Thyme. All were delicious. We grabbed a gluten-free blueberry muffin from the bakery case as well - love that they had GF options! For food, we ordered the avocado toast (tasty, though I wish the mozz and tomatoes were sliced a bit thinner) and a breakfast bagel sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel -- so good! We sat outdoors, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Loved the vibe here, and we'll definitely be back!

Located in the Gulch, it was just a short Uber ride from our downtown area hotel. Before we were even seated we were already enchanted with the adorable 'cow bee' t-shirt. Get it? Milk and honey? Cute huh? Our table of 7 women ordered a variety of brunch sandwiches and biscuits. While everyone enjoyed their meals, I can only give specifics on what I ordered. I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. We loved the vibe, service, and food and will happily return the next time we are in Nashville!

For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. I happened to not be a pet person so this was a struggle for me + I felt bad for the dog. All those dirty feet walking on that floor and that dog was eating off of it. Didn't feel right. They did mess up our bill and we ended up realizing after that we over paid. Overall I do not recommend and wouldn't go back. If our waitress wouldn't have been amazing this would have been a 1 star review.
