Place is clean, not too long of a wait to order or get our food and I love the condiments from the huge hot gooey cheese you can indulge in to all the fresh fixings. On a mini trip to concord we decided to stop by fuddruckers for the first time. I was shocked to see both an Ice cream parlor and a burger joint under the same roof but looked good on both sides. We were helped by our friendly cashier Hannah and she was every patient as we decided what exactly we wanted very friendly and helpful. Made our salad and as we picked up our food we did hear a customer complaining semi loudly she found a hair in her burger as she took her first bite :-/... Regardless i picked up my food took a huge swallow deep breath and decided what the heck. .. Food was hot fresh and delicious . Wedge fries and cheese sauce mmmmmm. What I am here to critique because I do give real reviews from customer and manager eyes as I have been both for many years are on the following things: Salads could have more lettuce at the end I was eating nothing but my toppings which sounds weird because lettuce is such a cheap produce . Went into this place the other day, and after I ordered I didn't receive my drink. Some time passed and as I took my seat at my table, my friend curiously asked, "where's your drink?" Immediately a gentleman behind me handed me a fresh new cup without any hesitation. I believe it may have been the manager/owner. I gratefully accepted and was very appreciative of his kind gesture. Moral of the story, they have awesome customer service here and i definitely recommend trying the buffalo chicken sandwich. We were stayin across the street at the Hilton, it was lunch, and why not have a burger fries and a cold one? We mozy across the street, place our order, not even 10 minutes and all 7 of us were bun deep. Burgers were outstanding, fries were on par for any fast food joint, I mean lets face it, other than seasoning, it's deep fried potatoes. This place, especially the Concord and Walnut Creek restaurants, have been my go-to places for a top-notch burger. When I'm Jones-ing for a real honest to goodness great burger, this is the place I yearn for. They've got all of the condiments out for the taking. You can pile it high with whatever your heart desires. You can get some decent beers to go along with your burger too. But, lately, there have been some issues. First off, the Jalapeno Cheese is getting too PC. I guess Fuddruckers doesn't want to offend the non-Jalapeno lover crowd. There is practically ZERO Jalapeno taste. You may spot something that 'appears' to be jalapeno, but you will be let down. There may be a hint of a spice, but it won't be jalapeno. It's just that the cheese is hot. Don't be fooled. This last time (Sunday 9/13/15), the buns were VERY doughy. So, I'm a little let down with the Concord Fudd. This is why this is a 4 star rating instead of 5. We got there at about 5:30 tonight for a co-workers going away party. The cashier was rude, unenthusiastic and unwelcoming. At the end of my painful order I asked if I got my drink now or later as I saw the last couple depart with their beverages. She said "oh yah" and turned around, grabbed my bud and handed it to me without acknowledging me. They called my husband's name for our order except it wasn't ready. The second time they called his name we both went up there and saw the three plates we had ordered - then some guy walks up with another plate and said my husband's name again. I push the three plates back and ask which ones are ours. He finally determined what our order was and we left. No offer of dipping sauces or anything. Then I realized I was missing the milkshake for my son - I go back and ask and find out that you have to go to a whole other place for this. No one told me that and I have never been there. Milkshake girl was also unenthusiastic and unwelcoming and just pointed to where it was and had been. The food was not very good. I was expecting way more. It's fast food quality at BEST. My husband and I hardly ever go out but when I do, I expect something as good or better than what we can have at home. Let me tell you my husband can make a tastier burger in his sleep. great place for your end of year sports party. Place is big and loud with a great game area. Just give your kids enough money for the game area and they will love it here... Condiment bar is big and it is fully stocked with fresh crisp lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Burgers are ok, they are too greasy for my stomach. I can handle only one slider without pain. The "home-baked" bun is not to my liking. Big fries are ok if you add plenty of ketchup. In winter I am always cold here, it feels drafty - especially upstairs. My favorite hamburger restaurant, period. Their beef / burgers are the freshest and as anyone who has been to a Fudds knows, you dress the burger just the way you like it at their condiment bar. Chicken breast or other 'exotic' meats (e.g. buffalo) are also available. Too bad they no longer offer ostrich - I enjoyed it as a beef alternative. They bake their own buns on the premises; they're fantastic and make the burgers that much better. Their taco salads are great also. Yes, there's an ice cream / bakery section for the sweet tooth. Also, a small video game area with air hockey. I've been going there literally for decades. This restaurant actually moved locations during the 90s but I'm glad they're back at their original spot at The Willows shopping center. They get regular walk-up business from the Hilton across the street and from nearby office workers so they're subject to the occasional rush. read more

I came to this location on 1/16/2021, I was surprised when I walked in to see customers eating inside the restaurant, since we are in the mist of a pandemic and most restaurants are only offering take-out. There were little to no covid19 precautions taken; self-service soda was available for customers to use and customers were able to sit as close to each other as they wanted, since no tables were blocked off. My friend wanted to order a beer but the cashier refused due to him not having an ID, which is understandable. I also wanted a beer with my burger, but the cashier said I could not have a beer even though I had an ID. His exact response was "no you guys are going to get me in big trouble". I guess he assumed I was buying a beer for a friend, but I really wanted a beer to drink with my burger. Sadly I wasn't able to enjoy one. This location is actually going to get itself in big trouble for allowing indoor dinning when that is prohibited in contra costa county. This restaurant needs to re-evaluate how they speak to their customers and see how they are in violation of mandated orders from the governor of California. Very dirty! When walking into the building you'll see some yellow canopies that are covered in dust bunnies. The floor was very dirty and the table with the condiments was flooded with water. The staff also seem to generally not care. When our order came in wrong we got no apology. It seemed to be happening to a lot of other guests tonight. The cherry on my bad experience was when I was ignored at the dessert station because the two employees where too busy flirting with each other. Good burgers - they're pushing the exotic meats now and I'm enjoying the Buffalo. The service isn't that good, and the produce isn't as fresh as it used to be. Let's be honest, the food is good, but not so good that I would pay over $10 for a hamburger meal. It attracts a mixed crowd. I would call these people confused. They're white collar people who feel the need to show their earthly attachment by feigning a blue collar lifestyle. The truth of the matter is, no minimum wage earning person would be crazy enough to eat here, so I'm not sure what these people are trying to prove. Fuddruckers... this place is great for families or large groups. I went here with two little boys that were only interested in playing the arcade games. But first dinner. I had the ostrich burger. Let me tell you why my friends... because the calories are slim to none compared to the other burgers... but ohhh yeah then you put on the jalapenos, lettuce and other essentials (low calorie indeed) and life could not get better... We had a great lunch here today. There were two of us, we ordered one 1/3 lb burger with cheese combo and one 1/3 lb burger with cheese. We shared the potato wedges that came with the combo. Portions were good size and the burgers were cooked to our specifications. We like all the goodies offered at the condiment bar... red and white onions, both sliced & chopped, tomatoes, again, a bin of sliced & a bin of chopped, fresh pico di gallo, shredded lettuce, whole lettuce leaves, pickles, pepperoncini...plus the various mayo, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc, condiments associated with burgers /chicken sandwiches/steak sandwiches....just about anything you need to put on a burger. Always a great place to get burgers. It's not the best I've ever had but it isn't bad. The only down side is the wait sometimes is forever to get your order. The 1/3lb is enough to fill you up. They have a condiment/fillings bar with all the lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, onions and pickles you can pile on there... I also like to make a makeshift salad on the side with this stuff. This is only 2 stars as we had food delivered through Uber eats. Fudds makes a delicious burger albeit the buns fall apart half way through ! The selection of meats, sizes , produce is all great when dining in . A milkshake is the icing on the cake ! The problem here is getting it out the door to my door . Overpriced! I've finally decided that it's far too expensive to eat here. This is Concord, not Disneyland! It shouldn't cost $50 to feed four people chicken and burgers and potato wedges. The burger itself was the high point, and I suppose that's appropriate for a burger place; however, the rest of the experience was merely fair. Prices are a bit high, particularly because you build your burger yourself. The spatial layout is confusing and requires a lot of navigating - you have to fight upstream against the line after ordering to reach the pick-up counter, ketchup (and other sauces) station and the topping bar require going around a display to reach, the ice cream counter (for your milkshake or dessert) is on the opposite side of the restaurant. Décor is rustic country picnic. Their seasoned fries, like most, are over-seasoned. There are too many other options in the strip mall to make this a good choice. read more
