The only set back was I asked for no mustard but still got mustard on my burger but to my surprise the home made BBQ sauce mixed very well with the mustard to create an awesome taste. The pork belly melts in your mouth. The onion rings are nice and crispy. The gyro meat was juicy and the pita bread grilled to perfection. The flavors of the food are unmatched by any other burger shop. The wright bacon is thick and crispy just like I like it. The French fries were good I prefer them a bit crispier but can't take away from them because the seasoning was perfect and fluffy on the inside. His smoked brisket was great on the burger. The patty melt cheese and bacon OMG. Hard to explain how great these burgers were. You have to understand these aren't your average burgers to understand the price. Man, I love this place. This chef had a different restaurant on the traffic circle when I was in college that my buddies and I would go to. It had the best food, and the Fuego burger on the menu was unlike any burger I ever had. I always recmmended it to people, and I was so sad when it closed. Fast forward and now I learn that he has a burger restaurant just south of where the old restaurant was, I had to try it! The bacon mushroom swiss burger was unbelievable, one of the better burgers I've ever had. Idk how he gets the sweet bun so perfect with the amount of butter and tiny spice from jalapeño mayo, but wow. And the caramelized onions were 100% the right add on. The crispy chicken sandwich is also amazing, it's so moist but even getting it to go the thick buttermilk crust was still crispy and hot. Again would 100% recommend it. Definitely get some of the housemade ranch to go with this and/or the fries/tots. So happy to have found this place and bring back good college memories - I'll definitely be back! read more

We walked into the same scene- the lady in the back was chewing everyone out including the gentleman who was taking the orders. They seemed to be at odds and grumpy with each other. Based on that I would have given 1-2 stars. However the hamburgers were excellent. The meat was superb as were the buns. The chips in the photo were freshly taken out of the fryer. We came here as a part of Fort Worth Burger Week. I was a bit apprehensive as I'd read the reviews on here, it was either best burger or worst burger! Lol! Plus the commentary on the husband and wife duo behind the counter. It's a mom and pop place, a lot of signs telling you what to do and what not to do. We got their New Mexico Hatch Chilli burger and hatch chilli loaded fries. They charged extra for cheese. The tables hadn't been swiped down on the restaurant side and there were no napkins available to clean our table. The burger was good, nothing special though, the bun was the stand out component of the burger. Wasn't fussed about the fries. Everything was quite salty. The drinks station was behind the counter, so you weren't able to self serve you own drink, however the owner did come out during our meal and refill our soda which was nice. Yes it sounds like owners are about to kill each other and it's probably not the kind of entertainment you want around small children. However....with that being said, the chemistry in the back brings incredible food to the front. My burger was hands down the best damn burger I have ever sank my mouth in. Fries were seasoned perfectly and onion rings were exceptional. Food cooked in passion either love or anger....is still passion. And there was plenty of passion in that food. We went here last night for the first time. Located in the middle of a shopping center, this establishment has thar hole in the wall feel. You do place your order at the counter and self seat yourself. The food here is fantastic! I had a cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger is cooked to perfection with a roll rather than hamburger bun. It was so good! The onion rings are thin but crunchy. We also ordered chicken tenders that tasted homemade. While we were greeted by what seemed to be the owner, we were ignored when trying to discuss the menu. The gentleman who was assisting us, was more focused on showing pictures of the burger of the month. He came off dismissive and in a rush, however we were the only guests present. We ordered a burger of the month , Memphis Burger & a Cowtown burger. We ordered a pork belly starter & a side of fries & side of onion rings. This order was to-go and the gentleman bagged everything & knotted the bag closed. We placed faith the gentleman helping us was efficient in completing our order, we were wrong. We made it home to discover our order of fries was missing. Overall our first impression is that this place seems to have great potential, if the service & efficiency improve. The burgers here are geeeasy but goooood. The burgers here are good. I had the Fuego Burger: burger with green chilies, jalapeño mayo, and a toasty-crispy apron of ooey, gooey cheese. It's flavorful, juicy yet NOT spicy. ("Pro" tip: peel off the edges of that crispy apron of cheese and put it back on the burger, yum.) My spouse had the bacon, mushroom swiss burger. It, too was huge and juicy. Both burgers are served on these super-soft, slightly sweet buns. Tbe buns are lightly toasted on the grill-top. We split an order of tater tots. Those were well seasoned and nicely crisp. Ok, let's be honest, the location is unassuming and the food certainly is greasy. Burgers are 1/2 lb patties, HUGE. It's delicous but know what you are getting into. Plan on leaving feeling stuffed and questioning your food choices. Go home, nap, skip every meal for the rest of the day, spend a few more hours at the gym the following week, and then you'll be ready for your next Fuego-run. read more

Let me start of by saying 99% the time I come here the restaurant is busy and you can almost taste the atmosphere. However lately the problem doesn't seem to be the food, it's the shouting match in the back of the kitchen. It gets so awkward in there sometimes the customers all go dead silent. Secondly the prices on the drinks are absurdly high. 2.50 for a can of soda.. 4.50 for a Mexican Coke. The best thing about this place is the lunch special, two can eat for under $13! 1/4 burger with fries. Can't beat that! My biggest complaint about this establishment is the menu prices are way to high for the area it's in. It's almost like a polishing a really rusty car. I would give this 4 stars but given the fact they make no attempt to reduce prices or update in the interior I'll leave it at 3. Hopefully the next time I come in it won't sound like a military training course in the kitchen! read more
