Look at the picture, the corn underneath all of the lathered Cheeto crap looks dark brown and it was squishy like corn that's been floating in water for a few days. A sad waste of money and time. I really like the birria tacos and birria quesadillas. The meat is soft and easy to chew and has a lot of flavor. The horchata was a bit too thick but good flavor. The cucumber lime agua fresca was good as well. I was disappointed with the hot Cheetos esquites. It was just corn, small amount of Mayo, and hot Cheetos. It lacked flavor, it had no cheese or butter and could really use lime and/or chili powder like tajin. I don't recommend the esquites. I would come back for tacos and agua fresca. read more

I ordered the chicken street tacos and the chicken is flavorless and just tastes boiled. I ordered the shrimp taco which would have been good but was so cold like it just came out of refrigeration. Also they NEVER have the flan but it is previewed as they do. I really tried to give this place 3 chances because I love the idea of their meals, but I've been disappointed 3 times. All 3 of us remarked at how salty the burrito was and the oil slick left on the paper. We finished it because we were really hungry. The surf and turf should have been called the surf and salt.
