This was a work lunch and we were all very hungry, so we pretty much ordered everything on the menu. Nothing really screamed delicious or bad, even though hunger makes food taste better than it really is. I can get better tasting food at Tokyo Central for a fraction of the cost here. The staff were super nice and service very quick. I loved how they used shrink wrapping for my to go order. However, that meant I needed to eat it all in one setting. That didn't happen. The restaurant was clean on the inside. There were a couple of discarded gloves laying on the ground in their outdoor seating area. Otherwise very clean. I ordered the shrimp chow mein. Very well seasoned. Very promising. HOWEVER, my noodles were overcooked and they were VERY mushy. Yuck! In a 2nd small container, there were onions and another item (e.g. yellow or orange) I haven't been able to figure out. I really liked it. Although the noodles were mushy, I am still planning to return. However, next time, I will I inform them that I do not like overcooked noodles! The jjampong is downright delicious! The best one ever (IMO) because I like it spicy. Their broth is probably--apart from the spice--the tastiest I've ever had and I've had more than a few. The jjajangmyeon is also super good, the portions are for sharing but sharing is optional. Service was very good, they get my order right every time and the way they pack to-go should be how every restaurant packs to go. It's tidy with the cutest containers. Came here for a quick dinner on Saturday evening. We only had about 45 minutes to order, eat, pay, and leave to go to the play we had planned for the night. We walk in, and the server was EXTREMELY friendly and kind. He seated us immediately and got us our menus. The place is clean and comfortable. I ordered the jjampong (seafood spicy noodle soup) and my boyfriend ordered the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). We also got fried pork with sweet and sour sauce to share. Food was great! The only complaint we really had was the jjajangmyeon sauce was a little thinner than we liked, but the flavor was all there! The server was also the ONLY ONE THERE because the other 2 servers happened to have called off on him that night! But he worked diligently and was courteous the whole time. Very good food and best service sums the whole experience here at Full House Plus. It only opened about 4 months ago upon this writing. My family and I went last night for the very first time, for our dinner Jajangmyeon & Tangsuyuk craving, and oh boy it just hit the spot! We also ordered the K-Fried Chicken Wings (that is the owner's special recipe) not pictured, it was really juicy and flavorful. Upon checking out, the staff packed the leftovers and sealed it nicely. Saw this place on TikTok as I was searching for a different restaurant to try out in Torrance. The service here was great and kind! Mini salad was a complimentary appetizer. The food and its portion was good. The black bean sauce is a great pair with the fried rice! Our waiter which I forgot his name, he is Korean, is really nice! He was attentive to our table, gave us more daicon when it was almost gone, and offered us some real good tea. As we were finishing up, we had a small left over that he went to package and the packaging is pretty neat! We also got fortune cookies to enjoy. Will come back again. read more

Wasn't too excited before looking at the reviews but decided to come in anyways. After all it's the closest black bean noodle place in South Bay. Ordered the black bean noodles 9.95 and the sweet and sour pork 20 bucks. THE SERVINGS WERE HUGE it fed two people with enough for leftovers. I'm not an expert at Korean food but just from a does it taste good stand point. It was great finished everything and left some sauce to have with rice when I get home. The noodles tasted fresh and firm? Haha and the sauce didn't leave an oily aftertaste and wasn't too thick or full of onions. After a bunch of turnover in this location since its days as a Baja Fresh, it is now a Korean Chinese restaurant! We ordered takeout--jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), jjajangmyun (black bean sauce noodle), kkanpoong shrimp (fried shrimp with sweet & sour garlic sauce), and tangsooyook (fried pork with sweet and source sauce). My mom liked the jjajangmyun, but it wasn't my favorite in the area. The veggies are chunkier than I'd prefer, and there's no bits of meat in the sauce. The jjamppong, or the spicy seafood noodle soup, was delicious! When we opened the takeout container, we saw little bit of charring on the vegetables and seafood in the soup. I really wasn't sure about that, but then I tasted the broth, and you could taste that yummy charred flavor in the soup itself. I think they torch the toppings for some extra charred umami. I really liked that a lot. The fried pork was alright, but my standards for that dish is extremely high because I grew up eating really good versions of that at home. The fried shrimp was better, but I wish they served it with the sauce on the side, even for takeout, because the batter became a little soggy on the way home. I'm sure it'd be better if you ate it in the restaurant. I like that they're closeby and they deliver (thru delivery apps), unlike some of the other Korean Chinese spots nearby. read more

My wife and I visited Full house Plus for lunch on Friday. I had been dying to try it. They offer five set lunch specials. I ordered the Jajangmyeon and fried pork combo. My wife ordered the jajangmyeon and mandu combo. We also had a small order of plain chicken wings. I've tried Black Bean noodles at four or five different restaurants, and I've never understood what all the fuss was about. The noodles are always soggy and sticky, and there never seems to be any pork in the sauce. The jajangmyeon here is different. The noodles are fresh and not over cooked so that the sauce mixes well. The sauce was neither too thick nor too thin, and it wasn't all onions. The fried pork was also very good, crispy with a sweet and sour sauce on the side - so one can dip or pour. I always considered myself a dip guy, but some sauce dripped onto a few pieces of pork at the bottom of my bowl and now I'm not sure; I may be a pour guy after all. The plain wings were also excellent. We opted for plain so that we could really taste the batter, and I'm glad that we did. It was thick and crunchy, but not so much that it overwhelmed the chicken. The batter has a very unique flavor; I think it's all spice. The wings themselves were good sized and they were still very hot and juicy when they arrived at our table. The portions are very generous. Neither of us finished our plates. Overall, we were very happy with everything and can't wait to return. My only advice: ask for more napkins in advance, especially if you order the wings. read more

It's a small Korean Chinese eatery with average to low flavor oily food. I asked for vegetarian options and everything came out of the kitchen with meat particles in every dish. The waiter apologized and said, I know you asked for meatless dishes but as you can see on the menu all the food has meat in it. Don't be mad about it. I wasn't mad about it but when the waiter asked the cook if they can leave the meat out of the dish there is the expectation that they won't add it. Oh well. This is a new restaurant in the Restaurant Row area of Torrance. They are located next to the Starbucks. There have been some very good restaurants that have occupied this space. I'm hopeful this place will follow. But they need a little help with the food. I ordered the Egg Rolls and the Egg Flower Soup since they did not have the noodles for the Chow Mein that I was hoping to have. The Egg Rolls are mini rolls, served with a slightly red hot sauce. The rolls were crispy but they lacked flavor, very bland. The inside was lacking in filling and only seemed to have cabbage inside. The sauce did add some flavor. The Egg Drop Soup was very disappointing. I've had this soup in so many places over the years and the taste is always superior. This soup was bland despite all the different vegetables floating around. The one thing I really wished they had told me was that there is tofu is ABUNDANCE in this soup. I am not a fan and would have asked them to not put it in. This soup is full of shoots, beautiful shitake mushrooms and, of course, the egg flowers. There is no taste to any of it. The broth was very thick and lacked flavor. I decided to fish out the tofu and there was enough to make another meal of it. Unfortunately, I didn't eat much of it. I even tried to add some seasoning and some salt but the broth just seemed to absorb it. They added a salad, at no charge. The chinese dressing was oily. But, it was a beautiful salad. All in all, I'd say they have a few things to work out. The front end young lady was very nice and still learning the ropes, but very nice. The gentleman, who came out when I was leaving, is also very nice. They forgot my fortune cookies and he wanted to make sure I got them. I'd say try them. This is there soft opening and I'm sure they will get any "bugs" worked out. I will definitely be trying them again. read more

Awesome little place. Nice, clean and modern. Staff is attentive and legit happy to take care of you. Lunch special came with a salad, nice little salty vinegary action. Got an entire jug of water and my side of pickles, black bean sauce, and onion. I got the tangsuyuk jjajjangmyeon lunch special combo. Food was HOT, just the way I like it. Noodles were Al dente, sauce was awesome. Nothing fancy, nothing too complicated, just some good ol comfort food. I had to leave probably ten minutes in, accommodated my take out on this nice little take out container for me, which is perfect cause I hate my food touching. What a bland bland bland food experience. That's 3 blands! This place is soooo expensive and awful at the same time. We spent over $60 here for pork fried rice garlic chicken and soup. Should have known by the name alone to avoid. AVOID!!!!! You probably most certainly WILL be disappointed as we were. They seal all your takeout dishes in these nearly unsealable containers which make it look like you just spent $60 on grocery isle freezer container meals to be reheated. This was a pathetic expensive experience for us and hopefully this review will help you avoid this "fusion" place of nothingness and blandness! I hope they stop peddling this stuff soon. Avoid.
