Great chicken wings! I can see what the hype is about. We bought extra to have as leftovers and they were great in the air fryer!

I got take out around 8 pm yesterday. The food I got was Singaporean noodles, Thai tea and chicken. The chicken was a little crunchy and dry. It came with hot sauce packets. The Singaporean noodles were pretty good. It came with meat and veggies. I like the size of the Thai tea. The food is pretty cheap here. It took 10 minutes for it to be ready. The food and service here may vary based on other reviews, but when my husband and I visited, we were pleasantly surprised. Despite seeing some lower ratings, we found the food to be quite good especially their BBQ Pork and Kung Pao Chicken. We ordered Combo C, and I was impressed by how generous the portions were. It was definitely more than what I usually get at Panda Express. I'll definitely be coming back to try their crack chicken and pepper steak stir-fry which also looked appealing at the time, but couldn't get too much since I wasn't too hungry then. However, I can't wait to go back. As far as parking goes, there's a large lot that I believe gets packed throughout the day, but we were able to find a spot once we got there. Been here multiple times. Before this restaurant called Ok Chinese now it change owner. Ok Chinese is better than this. It changed so much specially on the food. The chicken wings doesn't taste the same. This please used to be known for the fried chicken wings, crunchy and lots of salt. Now the chicken it's not as crispy and tasty as before. Super easy to place an order for a party tray pick-up! I called two days ahead to order a medium tray of their fried chicken, and they were able to accommodate my order. A medium tray will cost you about $48. They are very generous with their portions! I will definitely be back to try their other party trays. Their combos looked to be a good deal too. I came here because I was told that the chicken wings are really good. In fact, I was told that they are fire. The woman working at the time of my visit, she was crabby and seemed very unhappy. I noticed that there were not many chicken wings left. I asked if more were going to be made. She said no without saying no. She actually asked me how many chicken wings I was planning on buying. I told her if there were no more coming out then all she had available was whatever was in the window. She looked at me as though she wanted me to understand that this was all she had. so, I bought the rest of them. There were maybe about six. And to be quite honest, they were so cold that I had to reheat them when I got home. I put them in the oven for a little bit. They were not terrible, but they weren't real good. I have a feeling. They probably are really good when they are fresh and hot. But these wings, they were not. I was kind of bummed that I paid as much as I did. But at least now I could say that I've tried it. I was jonesing for Chinese food--the kind you get from a strip mall. I read some reviews and I was excited. I ordered combo meal with 3 items. It was pretty mid. The chow mein tasted like it's turning. The fried rice is pretty bland. The fried chicken is nice, and crispy, but it's overly salted. I also got the orange chicken and bbq pork. You come here for the delicious crack fried chicken. I got a carton of the chicken and they fill it above the rim where they don't even close it. (And when they do that, you know it's a good place.) As an Eagle Rock native over 20+ years, this is the spot for some chicken wings.. I have not had one person tell that these wings are not addicting. You can eat them as is, with rice/chow mein, and most recently ranch (Thanks to a friend....) They have their other typical fast Chinese dishes available for order if the chicken wings are not the only thing you want. I have friends that have moved out of LA and still cater the chicken wings from here. They also order the one gallon of Thai Tea! Prices have remained decent since the early 2000. After living in Eagle Rock for how many years, this location decided to change their name to Fusion Bowl. This spot was the spot to go to for fried chicken back when I was in high school which was 12 years ago. I stopped going because honestly it didn't taste the same to me anymore throughout the years. A week ago, I wanted to eat their famous fried chicken again. People call it "crack" chicken because it's so good and addicting. Leaves you wanting to eat more than 2. I tasted it again and it brought back memories. We ordered food and I wanted to check inside if they changed it. They definitely added a few food menu items. Ladies who helped us were nice. This was OK Chinese for years; the best place to go for cheap, filling Chinese food that wasn't half bad. Well, they changed ownership at some point, and are now called Fusion Bowl, but not much else has changed. Everything inside seems pretty much the same, but the food, at least what I ordered, has improved slightly. The fried rice is still a bit dry from sitting on the steam table, but the Orange Chicken now has more chicken in each chunk and is not over-cooked. They didn't have Green Bean Chicken (my other favorite dish) when I was there today, but it's listed as a steam table option on their hand-out menu folder, so they must have it at least sometimes. I was not sure what I would find on my first visit since the change, but I can happily say this is still a good place to go for cheap, filling Chinese food that isn't half bad. P.S. I, too, was a big fan of OK's "crack" chicken wings. I haven't tried the version sold by Fusion Bowl, but am hoping they are as good. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past and buried in the corner of the shopping plaza. I was dying of hunger, so I popped in and this place is straight from the definition of a hole in the wall. I ordered the combo and this place was suprisingly good. More tastes than Panda Express and more flavors, although once you get passed the environment then you will definitely appreciate the food more than the environment. If you are more a of a visual person and can't stand the hole in the wall visceral feeling, then this place is not for you. I realized this spot is where folks order the chicken wings platter for parties and brought some home too. The chickens are more like sizes of ostrich wings if that even is sold but huge wings with lots of flavor with more batter than chicken. For the price of the place and if you want to bring some authentic chinese food to a party definitely recommend their chicken platter. I've been going to this place for their Fried Chicken and for $48 for Medium Tray, I think it is affordable. However, lately when I call them, they are so rude. I spoke to 2 different women, got their names and both of them are so rude! This week I ordered personally for a next day order and paid for it. Unfortunately, I had to cancel 3 hours later (enough and so much time) as our gathering has been cancelled. I called in immediately and told them to put my payment as a credit as I cannot come in anytime this month. It was a simple request and transaction, but I heard a lot of things and took 15-20mins for the conversation to end. It was awful. I called in the next day to make sure that the order was cancelled and to make sure that I was understood and oh boy, the woman I spoke to was rude too. I guess I need to find another good place for fried chicken! The rude attitude was exhausting considering I told them to put it as a credit so that they don't lose business. Ok to be honest I forgot about this place. When I was a kid, every Filipino parties had their infamous fried chicken. Everybody loved it, we never got tired of it. This place has gone down and im sad for it. They really are "ok". We have been ordering their delicious FRIED CHICKEN here for years before we moved out of the Eagle Rock area so we decided to stop by when we were in the area. They were about to close so the chicken wasn't as fresh so I can't really judge it fairly since I love it when they come out with a newly fried batch. This place usually serves crispy, fried chicken with probably a lot of MSG but hey it's delicious. We also saw that they got a THAI GREEN TEA which I was excited to try, but they were out of. Before, we were able to order a whole jug of THAI ICED TEA but we didn't get it this time so not sure if they are still doing that. So why the 2 star review? Service was a bit hostile. The "lady" behind the counter was rude and we just ended up getting our chicken and couldnt wait to get out of there fast enough. In the past, even if they were busy they were at least cordial if not indifferent but this time it was like "get out" was the welcome we got right when we got in the door. Hopefully that "lady" was just having a bad day and we were the unintended casualty to it but it was very off-putting experience. My family had been buying food here for decades especially when used to be located at the bigger plaza where CVS is located. they're famous for their "Pepper Chicken". or should I say what used to be pep chicken with best n slightly spicy flavor. The Customer service is awesome! However as years gone by even before the pandemic the quality and taste of the chicken had deteriorate. no longer do they serve the pepper chicken which had a nice rich flavor but now it's just a basic almost no taste fried chicken. Just early this week we ordered some of the checkin and we were very disappointed with how awful it tasted. it's so bad that we finally decided it will be the final time we buy food from that place. because if it's just basic Chinese food, I rather just go to Panda a block away in all honesty. I've only gone to OK chinese as a loyal customer due to their chicken but with the below average quality, we hit the last straw. I'm placing two stars is simply for great customer service.
