We went for lunch at Fusion House in Kanab, when they were open just for about three weeks. To our surprise they had many customers, and were reasonably busy, but looked a bit stressed. The Chicken Katsu Curry was really tasty. We also appreciated the Mochi Ice Cream. I had it with mango flavor wrapped in dough. They also cater for vegetarian which is important with Best Friends animal sanctuary around the corner. We got takeout from this place as when we got there on thanksgiving night the line was out the door. Although they took a little while to take our order, the food was ready in 10-15 minutes. We got the edamame, vegetable gyoza, tofu nuggets, and tofu veggie with steamed rice. All items were tasty and prepared well, and I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for some Asian cuisine. read more

Don't eat here. The food is so full of msg. The "chicken" was like gelatin. I ordered chicken curry and the sauce looked like brown gravy. It was so salty and disgusting. We took two bites of our food and got the check and left. It was also $39 for 2 entrees and a beer. It's kind of a weird place because it had a good clash American and Asian foods, and the decor is blah, but the food was great. I got a mongolian beef wrap (hot) and it was delicious. The hostesses were very helpful, polite, and on top of things. This place is just taking off, but I can see it being another great in town. read more

Went here while visiting Zion in November not expecting much. Boy was I surprised!! This place is an absolute jewel and without a doubt the best place to eat in Kanab. A plain-looking restaurant will transport you to small town Asia with their unbelievable Udon Noodle Soup. I love Asian fusion and have been to countless high-end fusion restaurants - I can safely say that this little hole-in-the-wall serves the best Udon soup I have ever had. EXCELLENT! Our family was staying in Kanab for one night after hiking at Zion all day. My husband is mostly a vegetarian (still eats fish), and the rest of the family is not big on red meat. This place was awesome! Elisha (sp?) Was a great server and hostess. The food was amazing! My husband had the tofu & vegetables, and he said it was delicious (and he's picky). Had the avocado sushi roll (yum) chicken katsu (double yum, was crispy and tasty) and first time trying mochi ice cream balls and so glad I did! (They are ice cream balls wrapped in a sticky rice.) The reviews online didn't look bad but we walked in and there was nobody in the restaurant for lunch. The place was clean and what looked like the only employee in there sat us. The pictures on the menu did not look promising. The daily lunch special was bento boxes, 3/5 of our table ordered a bento box. The lady gave us water right away and our glasses were never empty. Lady who seemed like the manager/owner who served us seemed annoyed that we only had a small order and was turse when we asked for some utensils for our takeaway order. We eat here frequently for a refreshing change from other local restaurants. Service is always good, food is fresh and hot when it arrives at the table. Occasionally, things are a little salty for my taste, but I make sure to order "easy on the salt". Would like to see a bigger sushi selection! read more

Fusion House: I wanted to love your food but didn't. Maybe we just made bad choices of menu items. We thought it sounded great and ordered take out by phone based on the menu we found online. When I picked it up, there was no one in the restaurant during the dinner hour. Yes, not a single customer even though the restaurant is on the main drag. We took it back to our very nearby hotel as we had a sleepover dog from Best Friends and dining at the restaurant wouldn't work well. We stopped in Kanab on the way home from the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and the restaurant choices were limited and we were not in the mood for BBQ. We decided to give the Fusion House a whirl and we are glad we did. I ordered the chicken curry noodle soup. The waitress asked me if I wanted it spicey and I told her medium. It was that and more and very tasty. Hubby ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and was very satisfied with his order. We also ordered a side of spring rolls which were fresh and crispy..just the way we like them. The food was excellent and the prices were very affordable.
