I used to like this place, john on the bar knows the menue well and always has ideas . I enjoy the Sierra Nevada Ipa, but,but the last time I was in my wings plate scrapped up the coating on bar top. This old clear coating is obviously a health issue as it's peeling and separating that cause large flakes over a half inch in diameter. When I brought it to the lady service attention, I was told that they have many more bills that they have to worry about, yet the management knew of this problem . I'm concerned about my health first, and if this company is not, I can not come here perhaps a call to the health department would help them sort out their bill issues. Wonderful food, great service. It was a perfect spot to enjoy a late afternoon lunch. I got a burger and onion rings and my husband had the potato skins. We took enough home for Sunday lunch and it was almost as good as when we first had it on Saturday. Except the onion rings. We didn't bring any home because they were all gone! Fantastic food. If I didn't live in gilbert, we would be back sooner than October. We had ice tea and I ended up drinking 2 full glasses. It was exceptional. I'm sorry I didn't get our server's name. I have been to Gabby's many times and have had a great experience every time! This time in particular, I met a bartender/server Courtney. We made simple conversation and she was very kind, positive, and willing to listen to be blab on. Lol. I ask for a recommendation since I'd never been there for dinner...... and her recommendation was spot on! One of the best soups and chicken Marsala I've ever had! She also spoke very highly of the owners, which I have never heard before, and of the staff as well. It was nice to walk into a restaurant and here how much she loves her job is soooo refreshing. I usually hear the opposite and people need to understand that when guest come into a restaurant m, they are looking for peace, happiness and good food. Not negativity, crappy attitudes, and lack of care or pride I. Their job. And Courtney was the perfect person for a great experience. We were here a few years ago and remembered it being a decent place. We were meeting up with family a party of eight. The restaurant was all but empty just a few people sitting at the bar and maybe two other tables. Our service started out pretty decent. I ordered the chicken Cordon Bleu, which I'm pretty sure is the same frozen piece you would get from Costco. It was burnt on the bottom and so dehydrated that the cheese literally Was gone. There are a couple pieces of cold ham in dehydrated chicken. I sent it back. But only after about 10 minutes of waiting for the server to come back. During this time, half of our table still didn't have their food and the other half were eating theirs. My mother ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, which was actually very good so I went ahead and ate some of hers. My daughter also ordered the chicken Cordon Bleu and we were hopeful that it wasn't in the same state as mine. It was. When the server came back, all of our drinks were empty. She asked one person if they would like another drink. Another person had the French dip sandwich, which came out with nothing to dip it in. But because of the wait she went ahead and just ate it without. I did go up to talk to a manager who was also the bartender so I had to wait. He said that there was a new staff in the kitchen. Maybe they need a manager back in the kitchen if the staff is new. Instead of pouring drinks and chatting up the bar regulars. I will say their salad was delicious and had a lot of extras. Not just a bit of lettuce with a couple things on it. Lucky for me otherwise I would've left hungry. They did take our meals off the bill, but the low quality of food coupled with the slow and inattentive service will make this a no go for me in the future. read more

First things first: Gabby's wing game is on point! Moist and tender in the middle with a toothsome, crispy skin that does not wilt when sauced. In a world filled with soft skin, pizza-house, baked wings, it's so satisfying when a restaurant prepares wings the right way. Bonus: every Wednesday you can enjoy them for 50cents each, with a variety of flavors. The horseshoe shaped bar area is right in the center of the dining room. It's a great spot with comfortable full backed, and plenty of elbow room and plate room if you want to eat your meal there. The bartenders are great, offering the right amount of friendly chatting with you, if you so desire. (Shout out to Shamarie, Andy, and Grace!) You can watch the game on the big screen, people watch the dining room action, or hobnob with the locals or bartenders. By the way, in my experience the 'regulars' I've met here are not a hardcore drinker type like you'll find day drinking at some local watering holes. The restaurant sports one of the nicer interiors locally. The vibe with just the right amount of upscale featuring warm colors, lots of wood and stone, high ceilings and pleasant lighting. It is always clean and well maintained; it is obvious the owners take real pride in that. I had been here a few times a couple years back, and thought I had written a review about my good experiences. I couldn't find that review and have no idea what happened. So over the last couple of months I made a few visits her. I found everything to be good as I remember it; in fact, maybe a bit better. The food is always tasty, and served quickly. The service is just super! And the prices are reasonable. While I don't live close enough to come here often, I do try to stop in whenever I am in Prescott Valley. Love this restaurant! Creative menu, upscale, imaginative comfort food with a flare. Consistent quality, consistent service, with options of dining inside or out. One of the first restaurants to my knowledge in the area that actually listed gluten-free options on its menu. This is where I take friends, family, and never have regrets. In numerous visits to Gabby's in the last 2 years, there has only been one time that things weren't up to par; once at breakfast. Other than that, perfection! My wife and I were in Prescott Valley for a couple hours, and someone we asked recommended Gabby's Grill for lunch. He was so right! We shared the calamari, and it was very good. Not greasy at all, and the marinara dipping sauce was spot on. I had the Gabby's Grill Southwest Melt. Roast beef, onions, green chiles and cheddar. It was delicious. We took desserts to go. In town for the week and came again tonight. I usually come here when visiting Prescott Valley. I live in Southern California. This is an excellent restaurant. Nicely displayed good quality food, comfortable vibe, craft beer on tap, reasonably priced and service was great by server Shammarie. Hot pastrami sandwich is excellent here. Very lean and no fat and on marble bread. A perfect pastrami sandwich. French fries are also very good, has a different flavor than typical french fries. I think might be deep fried using soybean oil. Tonight, my daughter had the Lemon Herb chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, and my son-in-law had a Reuben sandwich and they both always like the food here too. In fact, they are the ones that turned me onto this place. I will continue to come back to Gabby's Grill when in town. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot remember our waitress's name...young, dark hair, enthusiastic, a joy to have as a waitress...we were the two older couples in for breakfast today at 10am. we had more food than we could consume at one sitting. I especially went for chicken fried steak, but it was only available on dinner menu. I settled for the chicken fried hash...pretty good, but my mouth really wanted the chicken fried steak. All four meals were excellent. My wife enjoyed her veggie omelet along with our friend. The other meal was the crab Eggs Benedict which looked and tasted great. We ordered two salads, a tuna melt and french onion soup. The salads were decent not great lacking flavor. The Tuna definitely wasn't good quality albacore, it tasted horrible like the cheap brown tuna ( we sent it back. we rarely do that). The soup also was bad... We were in need of lunch while in Prescott and I often pass Gabby's and bookmarked on my Yelp page. This time we stopped in for a light lunch and were impressed. We ordered a salad to share and the avocado egg rolls with two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was nice. The hostess and server were overly accommodating. I went in for lunch. I sat at the bar. I had a couple of beers. Then a great sandwich, and french fries. Everything was great.

We stopped here for lunch before heading back to Tucson after our business trip. The decor was cute and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. They had lots of options on their menu too! The food was really good! We got the potato skins as an appetizer and they were so freaking amazing! Between us at the table, we had wings, fries, grilled cheese, cheese burger, soup and a meatball sub. Everything was delicious! We got our food in timely fashion as well! Now for the funny part--my friend asked the waitress "which one is better?" (between the special and another meal) The waitress--with a straight face, replied with "well, a special is something that is not offered very often, only on special occasions-so I would say to maybe get that one now because it won't be here every day" -- We just looked at her, holding back our laughter at her response until she left the table. Not the best recommendation we have gotten from a wait staff before--but definitely the most entertaining!! We would go back to eat there next time we are in that area though. read more

Great lunch and wonderful service! My wife and I stopped for lunch after playing a round of golf. We both ordered the daily special Taco Salad. Our salad came in a huge tortilla bowl filled with fresh ingredients typically found in a Taco Salad. We also had the choice of Grilled chicken or Carne Asada. My wife had the grilled chicken and I went with the Carne Asada. Both proteins were tender, moist, and grilled to perfection. Our portion size was on the large side a nice blend of ingredients. Our server Brittany was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. It was nice to be able to have a nice dine-in meal at a great restaurant. I went to the Grill with my Marine combat group. When the bill came there was an automatic 20% added. This was added to the bill without our or my consent. Frist, the service was poor, the food ok but they wanted to be paid 2xs for the service.... Our group hands a good server the tip in his or her hand, which we did and ask for the additional money be removed from the bill.. They said they could not it was a policy. Well our group will never return for mediocre food at VERY HIGH prices.... $13.00 hamburger is unconscionable. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more
