This place is amazing !! Burgers are so juicy and fresh. Ordering is à la carte . Gami sauce on the burger is so good but the pickles ... Spicy and tangy . I could eat my weight in pickles. Waffle fries are seasoned perfect with herbs. The shoestring fries are crispy and salty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a must try if you want a great burger.

Had marked this as a want to try place. Not too far from the place I was at so made the trek. Well it's pretty much street parking so had to park a few blocks away. The girl at the register was helpful. I ordered a single burger and fries. They do not have combos. The place is small with a few tables to sit at. My complaint is tgat the the two customers ahead of me go their food brought to them but I had to go pick mine up. The person that ordered after me also go their food delivered. The burger was okay with a difference is being sunomono cucumbers so more on the sweet side. The onion rings were tempura style but batter was too thick for me.

Gami burger was one of the first places my fiance and I tried together for a burger since I transitioned to eating meat again and it was def a special experience The double cheese burger was juicy and the gami sauce is amazing. I really love the onion rings as well-thick and crispy. Its nice to see them open up a second spot in midtown. Even though I don't tend to eat a lot of burgers this is def a go to place for one! The owner i believe also owns concept coffee (i think?) If so his baked goods are also something special !

Gami was pretty hyped up in the sac food scene so I was excited to try it out with the new midtown location. Double cheeseburger: B Solid burger, the patties are thin almost like a smashburger thickness so I'd recommend a triple. I believe you can customize the sauce too so I tried their house sauce but thought their wasabi aioli is better. Curly fries: A Fantastic curly fries, very crisp and very well seasoned. Tastes great even without any dipping sauce. Wasabi aioli: A+ I'm in love with this sauce and it works perfectly as a dip for fries and as a sauce on the burger. Highly recommend trying this one out!

First time here and already planning a return trip. We stopped in on a Thursday night around 7 p.m. before a Kings game, and it was a bit busy. The space itself is pretty small with limited seating, but there are a few bar-style seats and some extra chairs available that we figured we could grab if needed. Luckily, the timing worked in our favor and a table opened up just as we were got our food. Ordering can done through tablets, but since it was our first visit and we had plenty of questions about the menu, it was nice that there was still a counter option. The cashiers were super courteous and helpful while we asked about everything, which added to our experience. I ordered a single cheeseburger with onions and mayo and added NY cheddar, although I'm pretty sure the American cheese that normally comes on it was missed. Even with that small mix-up, the burger and the waffle fries were both fantastic and packed with flavor. We also grabbed a side of the wasabi sauce for the fries and holy moly... I did not expect it to be as good as it was, but it was seriously delicious and something we'll absolutely order again next time. I also tried to get the butter brickle milkshake, which sounded incredible, but unfortunately they were out that night. Definitely putting that at the top of the list for the next visit. This place is high on the list for best burgers!

Loved checking out their original location and I was so excited to have one closer to me in Midtown. We stopped by while exploring Midtown on a Saturday afternoon and since we had our dog with us I grabbed a table outside while my husband popped in to order. I had been telling him about this spot and was so excited for him to give it a try. Originally we were going to share a burger and keep walking around, but when he saw the menu he decided we were each getting a full sandwich. He ordered us the Single Gami Burger and the Pastrami Sandwich and we shared both. At first he was wary of the house made pickles because he prefers dill and doesn't like sweet pickles but their house made pickles won him over, especially on the sandwiches. Both sandwiches were delicious, but we loved the pastrami sandwich and would maybe even try a burger patty with pastrami on top on a future visit. Their house sauce is also very good. On top of burgers they also offer hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, an Ahi Tuna sandwich, kid friendly items, salads and sides. The location at K and 23 is great and inside is modern and welcoming. There are some tables outside as well. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Couldn't be happier that there's a location in midtown now. The burgers and fries are fresh and made with quality ingredients. I love that all of the fries have different seasonings so you can mix it up. The new location is smaller than the fair oaks one but it is clean, modern, and easy to order. The employees are kind and will check on you even though it's order at the counter and self service. Honestly nothing on this menu is a miss. All the items are unique in their own way.

I've been to the original Gami Burger location before so I was excited to hear that they opened one up closer to me. This part of K street is pretty busy but it's a great location since it's close to the Golden Bear and the beer garden. I believe it used to be a Burger Patch before. I came here on a Thursday night and it was relatively busy but the tables open up pretty quickly. It's definitely smaller than their Arden location. You can order at the counter or at the kiosks (there's two). Pros: our food came out quickly after ordering. I ordered a double patty burger with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Waffle fries were good. Food is on the pricier side. Cons: parking can be hard to find since it is located downtown.

Wow! Let's start over WOW! A friend recently told us about Gami Burger and last night we gave them a shot at the midtown location. Definitely, unassuming as you walk in though we were greeted by an enthusiastic staffer. The menu can be overwhelming so ask for suggestions. We settled on the Royal, a special burger with the works and an ahi tuna burger with special coleslaw and avocado smash. Both were delicious! For sides we went sweet potato fries and waffle fries. Both cooked and salted perfectly. The sweets were - yes- sweet and a bit spicy, and love the thin and crispy texture. Seriously dear readers this is the best burger place in Sacramento and I'd bet top ten in Cali. Enjoy!!

The staff are so friendly kind and patient. I really loved the patience. First time here! Grabbed 2 different burgers delicious, curly fries are bomb. Grabbed a cherry soda and root beer float very yummy! I love the decoration and how clean everything is!

Not your basic burger and fries!! The burger alone comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and sauce but you do have to pay for any extra toppings such as onions, cheese, avocado, and there's even an option for a fried egg. The sweet potato fries were seasoned to a perfect salty/sweet combo. The onion rings were delicious alone but even more so when added into the burger. The portions for the sides were generous, especially for only being around $5 each. The salads seemed like a popular choice and looked enormous and refreshing. I will be back for one and a chicken sandwich! I would love to see a vegan or even vegetarian burger option to honor the beloved Burger Patch that used to stand here!

    Chicago Dog and Gami Burger!

I killed two birds with one stone with my trip to Gami Burger- trying this place I had heard about for the past few months, and finding out what happened to the space left behind by the beloved Burger Patch. Gami Burger has kind of a fast food look to it at the counter when you order, but the food and dining area give fast-casual vibes- I'm a fan. The Burger was good and I ate nearly all of it but got full and saved the rest for a possible tipsy snack tonight. I also ordered the Chicago dog so I could try a few things in one trip. I'm gonna save that for dinner but it looked great, with the toppings neatly arranged over the dog. The only thing I was confused about was the addition of mayo, which is not listed in the ingredients on the menu. I'm not a mayo fan and didn't see it until I got home; if guests order this, they might want to double-check on the mayo if they're not a fan. The price keeps Gami from being a 5-star place for me- the Burger was $9 and the dog was $14, which seemed hefty to me but I do recognize that they're in a prime piece of real estate and I haven't ordered a hot dog in midtown/downtown in a while, so maybe this is a competitive price. They have some sides including fries and onion rings, and I'll have to try a milk shake and a chicken sando next time; both sound delicious : ) I'm looking forward to trying their other location as well, since it's in my neighborhood. One of the bonuses of the midtown location is that, like Burger Patch, they're open late for late night fuel. Cheers!

Almost $25 for a double meal is just crazy. That's hipster burger joint prices for fast food atmosphere and a very run of the mill burger.

The hostess was very sweet and sat us at our table right away. Our server was amazing and very attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all and gave us enough time to eat our appetizers and meals. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered for an appetizer the house made focaccia bread and was hot, well seasoned and so fresh. I felt as if it just came out of the oven. The French onion soup was excellent, flavor was on point and soup was hot. The boneless beef braised short rib entree was incredible. I literally licked my plate clean. We did order the bread pudding Togo to eat later since we were so full but didn't care much for it which is a bummer. It was a little dry to me and lacked flavor. We ordered the tomahawk…read moresteak, expecting it to be the highlight of the meal, but it was a huge letdown--especially considering it cost around $200. The steak was extremely salty, to the point that it overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. On top of that, it was finished with so much alcohol that every bite tasted like liquor instead of steak. Rather than enhancing the dish, it completely overpowered it. For a premium steak at this price point, I expected high-quality execution and balanced flavors. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing steaks I've had, and I left feeling like the meal simply wasn't worth the cost.

The happy hour prices were reasonable and had so many great options. Can't say for certain about the parking situation because it was a close walk from our hotel. We ordered 2 mocktails, the watermelon sugar and basil berry fizz. Both drinks were super sugary and tart, which I ended up diluting with water. Still refreshing and tasty, but I think it was a bit overkill on sugar. For our mains, we tried the rigatoni bolognese, trio of fries, and chicken tenders. All food and drinks for under $50! The portions were massive, especially the trio of fries, which I was not expecting. The sweet potato fries were a bit soggy compared to the other 2, which were significantly crispier. The chicken tenders were ok and probably the least exciting thing we ordered haha. On the other hand, the bolognese was by far the standout! Flavorful, rich, creamy and the cheese pull from the pasta was to die for. Our server was super cool and patient with us, as it was our first time coming here. Totally recommend checking this place out with a group of friends to enjoy happy hour.
