Small cafe with GREAT food & amazing service! we love coming here with our friends and family to enjoy breakfast/brunch. Meals come out within 15 minutes of ordering. The waitresses are always so sweet and cater to all our needs. This place is so underrated, I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a classic, yummy breakfast. This place has the small diner vibe that you see in movies or on TV. It's welcoming and you'll see familiar faces whenever you walk in and the staff will always greet you with a smile and tell you about the specials... All they need is a laugh track whenever someone says something funny. Me and my pal have visited on multiple occasions and are looking to walk in and have "our usual" to the point where we don't have to say what we want since we get the same server each time. The food is delicious and comes out quick if you're on lunch and there's always plenty of seating. I suggest you come by for a delicious breakfast or lunch if you know what's good for ya! read more

Great service! Very friendly staff. Food was pretty good. I enjoyed the veggie scrambled eggs with jack cheese and fruit for an extra 1.25. My partner enjoyed his Denver omelette and they were nice enough to give him cottage cheese with berries with it. Coffee was good. Toast was too dry. Bathroom was outside the restaurant. read more

Consistent in food presentation and taste. My usual is crabs benedict. The lady who serve food is very nice and fast. She always give free coffee as well. Always clean place and serving time is always fast. Minus one star because the burrito had so much beef fat that I couldnt even finish half of it. Great portion though... Great selection of items, great food, great service, great price without all the hype. If it weren't for yelp, I would have never discovered this place. I must pass it each and every time I make the 2 mile drive from home to Costco. I took my friend here to try it out, since we spontaneously decided to hang out and wanted breakfast but without the wait. Called and somebody picked up within the second ring. I got the gangnam omelet. It was amazing and had well seasoned, generous chunks of galbi. My friend got the benedicts. She said it was well prepared. I also really needed something with alcohol and got a sunrise. Not too strong and had pulp in it - just the way I had wanted it. The server also came back a few times to make sure that everything tasted good, that we didn't need anything else, and that our water was well replenished. Wonderful guy. Wonderful food. I'll definitely be coming back again. read more

Well worth going a little off the beaten track of Monument Boulevard for this friendly diner behind Costco, especially if you want a great breakfast for $10. I divide diners into two kinds: the big diners that try to do everything, with a menu that's dozens of pages, and the specialist diners with a small menu focusing on breakfast, sandwiches and salads. The big diners give you more choices and longer hours, but I often find that not all the food is high quality or consistent, e.g. Eggs Benedict are from a package. Gangnam is a small diner, with a limited menu and shorter hours (it's closed on Mondays and after 3 pm), but the food is consistently excellent. For example, their eggs benedict dishes are home made from scratch and utterly scrumptious. The service is prompt and friendly, with the chef often coming out to talk. She always seems to have the kind of grandmotherly twinkle in her eyes that comes from watching people eat her home cooked meals with such gusto. Today she came out to offer me a free side of salsa that she had just made--although she warned me it was spicy, it was perfect for my palate. The owners/chef are Korean, not Greek like many diners. That may explain the one absence on the menu that I regret: Greek salad or souvlaki. But they make up for that with a couple of Korean inspired breakfast dishes I have never seen elsewhere, like their galbi burrito with a side of hash browns. Wow! read more

A favorite restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly, food is onolicious, service is great and reasonable prices. It's a nice hole in wall restaurant which are the best. We always order a pancake on the side to share. One of the best. Moved to Hawaii 1 1/2 yrs ago, but we make sure we make a stop to eat here. Crab Benedict is the bomb! I highly recommend Gangnam Cafe to friends & family. We've had friends meet up with us here and loved it and I'm sure have come back. read more

Everything here was amazing!!! From the warm, inviting people to the well-flavored, perfectly prepared food. Like, these folks KNOW how to poach eggs well!!!!! And apparently this is hard-to-impossible for most chefs, lol, or just the restaurants I frequent [side eye at Katy's Creek & Jack's for rawwwww poached eggs]. We took our parents here when they were visiting us, and even they raved about the food & service. The server hugged us all when we were leaving! Not sure if that's typical or if my sweet dad who talks-to-much & compliments everyTHING he eats made an impression, haha. Anyway, this place is definitely worth the drive or the wait or both. This place is a hole in the wall type of place. My boyfriend and I got to sit down right away. Service is quick and efficient here which is ALWAYS a plus for me. He ordered the country fried steak which was delicious. I'd order that next time I come here. I ordered the combo Louis. It was ok I guess. Wish it had spinach in there. The crab was unfortunately not completely ready. I could tell it was frozen, which is fine, but I knew because when I was eating it still had a slushy texture to it. Wish they'd given it more time to thaw out before serving but they do give a nice portion of it. Rest of the dish was good and I got it with Italian dressing. I wouldn't order the combo Louis again but I'd come back to try some other delicious looking dish like the country fried steak or eggs Benedict. read more

We've had GN Cafe on our list of places to try since moving to the neighborhood last year. I'm so glad we finally got there today for lunch. We were impressed with their friendly and warm service. The food was very good. I had the chopped salad with chicken and bacon and it was full of yummy things like egg, cucumber, beets, and kidney beans. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries and was very happy as well. We sat out back on the patio which has a nice sunshade. We will definitely be back and make it part of our regular spots! read more

Really good place came here with my dad and my sister today, I used to come with my dad when I was younger. Really good place!! Really good crevice and really good food. One of my favorite places to come with my family and the only place that I can eat crab egg Benedict is here they have many other of good foods to!! They also have free wi-Fi !! Recently just discovered this sweet little breakfast spot and I wish I've found it sooner! Been here twice already and Ive only ordered the crab Benedict's. Best Crab Benedicts ever! They actually used fresh REAL crab meat and weren't stingy about it either. Although they did put too much hollandaise sauce on my Benedict's. If you come on a Sunday morning expect this place to be busy. The second time I went we got lucky with a table because afterward all the tables were full and there was a tiny wait. Although it took them a while to get our orders our food came out promptly. Definitely my go to breakfast spot in town! read more

Hash browns were not cooked all the way. Also I ordered the mini breakfast and it says clearly on there that it comes with "hash browns, eggs, your choice of toast and your choice of sausage or bacon" when I got my receipt the waitress charged me $2 for eggs and $3 for sausage ? I went up to her and asked her why I was charged for more of it is included in the meal and she said they hadn't updated their menu but now eggs and sausage are extra! What a rip off. What makes it worse is she didn't even bother to tell me it was "extra" even though it clearly says on the menu it's included. She should have honored what was read in the menu because it is not my problem that they haven't updated their menu. Bad customer service!! I attached the meal on the menu to show exactly what I read. read more

My daughters come all the time for breakfast and they say its great. So I finally decided to try it. I must say they were pretty good. Staff is friendly and they have the whole back area set up for outdoor dinning during covid. If your looking for a good breakfast don't let the industrial area turn u away you will miss out on good affordable breakfast or lunch. read more

Great food and service!! I had the fried chicken Benedict. Holy Smokes was it tasty! The chicken was perfectly crispy. The sauce was so creamy. It all sat on corn bread or something. Not sure. Either way it was insane! Coffee was really good. I highly recommend eating here read more

Looks a little run down on the outside, but the inside looks like an upscale restaurant. They have delicious, yet affordable meals. I ordered a burger with a side of fries. I knocked off a star because they close really early like at 2. By the time I found this on Yelp, they were going to close within an hour. I broke and arm and a leg to get here. It was totally worth it! Will come back in the future, probably a few hours before they close so I can actually enjoy my meal without the fear of choking to death. read more

Man, I've been looking for a cafe like this near work for a while. I just happened to stumble upon it after missing the turn into the parking lot hahaha. But the staff is very very nice, such a variety on the menu and the scene is a bit "old" for my taste. But shoot, I'm not here for the people. I had the breakfast burrito with hash browns.... I thought the hash browns would be in the burrito. I was wrong. So the only thing I would suggest is putting the hash browns into the burrito itself. Food was good! Can't wait to go back and the prices are pretty decent as well. read more

I told Valerie, our friendly and awesome server that I was going to write her a review. My bf and I were there on the last day outdoor dining was permitted. Food was excellent. I love the eggs Benedict! But what made our experiences much more better was Valerie. She greeted us with a wonderful smile and was like that throughout our meal. She gave us lots of attention! This place was great, when we where driving up to it wasn't sure what to expect. Outside looks like it wasn't busy and wasn't sure if y'all had it right, yet once you walk in you can tell that it's going be good. Right away great customer service and it smelled amazing. We where seated right away and the begging of great customer service and food began. First I ordered orange juice. Best orange juice I have had at any breakfast place. It was fresh and tasted like actual orange. ( I know you might be wondering what I mean) sometimes you go somewhere and it taste like concentrate or juice that was squeezed but has been sitting there for a while. This one didn't. I ordered the French toast breakfast. I normally don't order eggs not my thing , yet here I went all out. Eggs where cooked good and French toast was cooked just right .... Everyone that works here us real friendly and nice. The place is clean and neat. I am definitely coming back to taste more . read more

Gangnam Cafe's singage reads "GN Cafe" they are housed in a building that looks like a real estate office. eats: irish benedict(8.25) -lots of almost perfectly crisped hash browns (needed a little more browning) -fab sauce on top of 2 deliz poached eggs -corn beef bits a bit dry, not very tasty, salty -ok muffin on bottom pour: coffee(hazelnut, costco sourced, 1.75) -passed on house farmers brand -waiter made me another pot coffee not farmers -coffee lightly hazelnut flavored. crumbs: -staff (mexican and korean) very friendly, accomodating -lots of food, worth 5 stars. -decor sparse, just hanging pics, one of beatles. -lunch and breakfast only. -no notice anywheres explaining why cafe is named gangnam -some korean food available-bulgogi sandwich. read more

What an absolutely wonderful restaurant! I just filled up with gas at Costco Concord and wanted lunch. Yelp suggested this place that is nearly hidden on Detroit St., from the road, look for GN Cafe. Had the marinated Korean short rib sandwich and it was delicious. The meat was well marinated and tender. The toasted soft French roll was crispy on outside and allowed the juices to soak up the inside for a great taste. Will come back when in area. My server was prompt, efficient, and welcoming. read more

The location is very easy to get to, but parking is a challenge, and it was busy when we arrived; by the time we left, the line was gone! Still, we waited about 10 minutes for a party of 5, and we were seated at a nice large table. Our server, Cecelia A., quickly greeted us and took drink orders while we perused the extensive menu. There were some new items I came across, so I had my work cut out to limit my newfound desires. Ultimately, we ordered a few appetizers and some entrees, although some served cross purposes! We started with some boneless Ancho BBQ wings, truffle fries, onion ring tower, cheese curds, and then moved on to chicken nachos, a couple of kids' pepperoni pizzas, a shiitake garlic noodles, a Gardein adult mac 'n' cheese, and a BBQ bacon burger. The apps are quite large here, more so than I expected, and the cheese curds were a favorite along with the wings. The onion rings disappeared as well, but the consensus was they weren't up to Red Robin quality; they were good, just different with the parmesan. The truffle fries were garlicky, which I loved, and shiitake garlic noodles, although listed as an app, were my entree, and they were amazing! Very tasty, with lots of mushrooms and a garlic presence that was not overpowering. Would definitely get it again! The Gardein mac 'n' cheese was large as well, with lots of Gardein chicken in almost every bite. But the nachos - they were enormous! So big that the guy who ordered them didn't even try his BBQ bacon burger; that went home for a later meal! And the kids' pepperoni pizzas were also large, and with fries, were easily an adult meal as well. And we took home almost a whole pizza! Too many good apps filled most of us up before the entrees arrived. The service was great, the food great, the ambiance great, and I look forward to trying more Gardein options. If you are looking for tasty and hearty vegetarian options, look online first, for the website shows the Gardein options in their own section. On the printed menu, these same items are listed below the "regular offerings" as an option, and so it is difficult to find them and know what Gardein options are available for different items. The ahí salad didn't come out until the very end when we had finished the other 3 dishes. It also took a while to flag down a server for napkins and utensils. The food itself was pretty good! There were lots of friend groups and families sitting around us. There is lots of parking available in the shopping center.

The salad was good iceberg and I liked the dressing given on the side, not sure what it was but it went well with the chicken in the salad. We will order again from EZCater and Lazy Dog because they seemed to work well together and the details were taken care of.

I want to pass on my secret hide out. I stop here as much as I can before work, it is behind Costco across from PG&E off of Detroit. I love the staff and they are always friendly, They are new owners and they are from Korea and very nice. The coffee is GREAT! and hot! If they are low, they will brew you a new pot. I ordered the Sausage and eggs, they came out hot and fresh. They were the links and they were juicy and had a snap. The hash browns are nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The owner, the wife, I am sorry I don't know her name is so nice. She sent me out a bowl of fruit and it was impressive, it had berries, banana's, melon, strawberry... Recently went with a party of 5. The Mouse Pan Cakes for the kids are big, fluffy, and delicious. The Cheese Burger is very good... they use a difderent type of Bun loved it. The asian salad with dressing is awesome. The bacon was thick and delicious...they use the very exspensive type... the BLT was great since they used such high quality Bacon. I was feeling a bit unhealthy when I only had a choice of same-old Costco food when I was shopping there but now I found out this place right next to the shopping center! I had much more food choices than just pizza and hot dogs(they're good, but still) and I certainly felt happier and healthier when I devoured their fresh spinach mango salad with a cup of squeezed orange juice. It's a small spot (maybe 4-5 tables), so just keep that in mind if you're a larger party. My friend got the Yowza burger and really enjoyed it. I got the Peruvian Dip and while it tasted good and the meat was decently tender, there were 2 peppers next to it on the menu indicating it was spicy and the Aji Amarillo sauce was not spicy at all. A little lacking in flavor as well and the grilled onions were a tad overcooked and gave a slimy texture. Kind of disappointing that it's advertised as a spicy sandwich. The Cajun curly fries were also not spicy (but said it was on the menu), but the seasoning tasted great and the fries themselves were cooked perfectly and not oily at all. Great portion too. Would come back!

I got the chicken pops and my partner got the Benedict Florentine and we ordered a side of fries and everything was really well-made and delicious. For a drink, I had the Thai espresso. They have some really fun twists and plays off of Thai food. Staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating
