this is one of those casual dry cleaners that are near home. it's attached to the coin laundry service, and in the same plaza as the "we accept ebt" liquor store. it's on washington & wade- pretty much across the street from the outdoor grill and car wash. we needed some winter blankets dry cleaned so i can put them away, and as we entered, he was coming out of the shop since he just closed up. luckily he noticed we needed service, and he came to us to say he's gary and that he closed up but he took our blanket anyway. so nice. now it's all nice and clean, ready for winter! read more

Great place. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon and there were just a few patrons. The owner was there doing maintenance and cleaning. The place was very clean. The prices were good as well. For 75 cents the dryers give 39 minutes on high heat. The owner was a really nice guy. He was greeting the regulars and took time to talk with me as well. I live on a boat and doing laundry is a major hassle. Gary's makes me love laundry day. That's because I drop it off. Gary's staff washes, dries, folds, hangs my shirts on hangers and seals my laundry in plastic for only 99¢ a pound. I am never going to do my own laundry again. I'm having Gary do it every week. This is not a good place to do your laundry if you want to wash and dry fast. 60% of the machine not working or stop in the middle of the wash makes you rewash again. The employees are nice and friendly and always happy to help but I just hate it, sometimes I plan my day do laundry and other things mist of the times I spend more time than I expected when I wash. Too many of the machines are broken. Too much of the business is just worn out. This place may have been okay in its day but right now it's a bit of a pit. With so many nearby competitors offering more up to date facilities in more comfortable surroundings, I'll take my laundry elsewhere from now on. read more

I came here wash my blankets and clothes. This is my first time at this location. I like how it wasn't super crazy busy. The washer machines were great and fast. They were pretty clean compare to other laundromats. Unfortunately I think the dryers suck! I would put it on high heat and had to keep on adding quarters. read more

At the best rate around town, they do an immaculate job, neatly organized everything in the bags, and even turned around in 7 hours when I needed a rush, at no extra charge. I get my clothes laundered here once a month. The ladies that take care of my clothing do a fantastic job getting my laundry fluffed and folded in a timely fashion. They usually can have my stuff ready on the same day! Occasionally, I run in to this laundromat to get change so that I can do my laundry at my place. Yesterday, I ran in to get change and was yelled at by one of the employees that the change machines are for customers only. I am a regular customer and was pretty peeved that I was treated as though I was a criminal. The lady that yelled at me has been doing my laundry for the last year or so, and I thought we had a good rapport. I'm not sure I'll be going back to this place, which is a shame because they are so close. read more

I have nothing bad to say about this place. The parking is convenient, plenty of machines open even on a Sunday afternoon, free wifi and plenty of tables for folding. I had no issues with the change machine or any washers or dryers, and didn't have to wait for a rolling basket to move my clothes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there isn't much room to sit and wait, and it probably could be cleaner. Overall, it was a pleasant laundry experience. read more

Came in ona Sunday at 4:30. This place pretty much has 1 job, and that's laundry. The machines are $1.75 for a regular load, 4.25 for a large and 5 for larger. Only the large machines have detergent, softener and bleach reservoirs. The rest are the shit you find at your crummy apartment. One of the driers ate my quarter : door open light wouldn't turn off. The other drier worked fine except I had to hold the door closed. I started both doers at the exact same time and one of them isn't keeping time! What a piece of junk. They had one job and I can't say it's done very well. At least there was parking. read more

Great customer service. Some coins got stuck in the slot of the 40 lb. machine half way through the required $4.25. This was after hours so the office was closed. I called the number and Gary answered right away and walked me through it. I just didn't hit the machine hard enough. Anyway he's a nice guy and offered to reimburse me if the machine didn't work.
