The falafel and avacado wrap veggie is really delicious. Do recommend this place, the prices are also moderate and affordable.

The lobster roll, butter only, is everything one would expect - sweet, succulent, and worth every penny for the fresh lobster.

A must visit in Bar Harbor. Great food, great service, and decent prices for the area. We always get the calamari app and their chowder (which never disappoint). Was there last week and wish I caught the servers name, she was really attentive and provided great customer service. read more

Our best night in Acadia yet! Wonderful drinks - the bartender looked like something you would see in the movies. Drinks appeared instantly, and they were delicious. He was in constant motion. If we owned a bar, he'd be our first hire! Gluten free choices galore, thank you, Geddy's! Also absolute BEST lobster roll in town!! (recommend the butter route). Great place, phenomenal staff, nice atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun, family place, this is it. Kids get a free frisby; Geddy's t-shirt shop downstairs was also our favorite in town. We had a party of 12 including a few small children the service we received was excellent! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It was a fun atmosphere and I loved that the kids got frisbees with their kids meals! Also I bought several things from the shop which was awesome I thought they had many nice souvenirs! Went because of the wide choice of gluten-free food.They have a great selection of gluten free food! There prices were extortionate and my party was very unhappy with the very small overpriced portions. The food was ok and the service was good. good food on the Main Street down towards the water. we were sick of seafood, so opted for the burrito and the caprese chicken. The burrito was humongous, and the chicken sandwich was delicious. Gluten free heaven! All their fried food is in a gluten free breading so their frying oil is gluten free, too. And they have gluten free pizza too for the non-fish eaters. I had the fish and chips and so did my husband. I'm the one who's gluten free but he couldn't tell any difference like he usually can with other gluten free items. One of the kids ordered pizza (she's not gluten free) and didn't complain abbot the crust, just that it was too much food to eat so it's certainly enough to share. This is definitely a tourist track. Food is very expensive ($30 for a OK lobster roll and $17 for a lobster stew)! But they are normal bar food at best. The only thing good was that they have TV and we could enjoy US Women team won the World Cup! read more

This place had good service and food was quick to be served. Overall the food is good but decor is a little loud. I had the chowder and then the taco salad. It was good and I was on my way. I wanted to update my review to say that Geddy's has become one of our favorite places to eat in Bar Harbor. My parents and I visit every summer and it genuinely feels like the food gets better and better every summer. Their drinks are really great (Sangria is incredible) and we always go for their pizza and nachos. Can't say enough about how great the staff is. They're always so friendly and funny, and during our last visit we noticed how fantastic they were when interacting with some kids seated near us. Even as an adult I appreciate the option to color in the menu while you wait for your food, and we always stop at the gift shop in the basement. Their social media presence is fun too, I really enjoy their year-round updates on Facebook. Can't wait to come here again this summer! read more

I had high hopes for Geddy's. It was the first place we went to eat in Bar Harbor. Staff was friendly. The manager came by to ask how things were. The food just was really not good. Now mind you, I can't speak for the lobster because I had a veggie burrito which was basically a carrot burrito with tomato sauce on top. Really odd combination of flavors and very not tasty. My boyfriend had the lobster roll which was a few lobster chunks on a small roll with undercooked fries for $21. Keep walking and find another restaurant. Geddy's gets 2 star from me because the nacho appetizer was okay but the jalapeños were dry and flavorless. read more

I would avoid. There is so much better around you. My burger was dry even though I asked for medium rare. My buddy's burger was ok. "Guppies" (fried fish nuggets) were fried pebbles not remotely close the "fresh" fish advertised. It was mega touristy... which I wouldn't normally hold against in a touristy town... This was my first time going to Geddy's in Bar Harbor even though I have been to Bar Harbor a ton of times. This place is amazing. Hands down the best food I've had in Bar Harbor AND Bass Harbor. The menu is quite large and offers options for any type of eater. I am a vegetarian so I got the Avocado Falafel wrap with sweet potato fries and it was outstanding! My boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza and was still raving about how fresh and delicious it was hours later. My sister said the lobster roll was incredible too! Really fast and friendly service. I will absolutely be returning next time I'm in Bar Harbor! I highly recommend you give this place a try! read more

Not sure how this place makes it but let's just call it a watering hole and not a restaurant shall we? The food is some of the worst in the city and the place keeps drawing hungry suckers in to order terrible selections off the mess of the menu. I wouldn't even compare this to Applebees. It has gone way downhill and everything from the appetizers to the dinners is horrible. They even screw up nachos putting lettuce strips on the top. The sangria taste like bitter fruit punch and the draft beer is warm. Do yourself and anyone you are with a favor and skip this disaster. There are many other places to eat on this street. read more

Came here on a cold weekend night. I was visiting Acadia for the day and stopped in town for a quick bite. It was early in the night, but it appeared that Geddy's was the only place with a crowd post tourist season. We were able to be seated right away, which was lucky as there was quite a wait as we were leaving. I ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder, while my boyfriend got a veggie pizza. Service was VERY slow, which was interesting because a local had recommended the place for dinner, explicitly saying there service was great and attentive... The clam chowder was pretty good. Very thick and creamy--a heart attack in a bowl, just what I was craving. The lobster roll was very meh. I was a bit disappointed by how mediocre it was. I kept thinking in my head, "I can't wait to go back to NYC and just to to Burger & Lobster." I left still craving for a proper lobster roll. My boyfriends pizza was pretty good. The portion was huge and we ended up taking half of it home. Would I come again? No. Do I regret not going to a less touristy place? Yes. Have I satisfied my lobster roll craving? Soon. read more

Discovered this place while looking for a place to eat in town, and I'm glad I discovered it! While the wait for the food felt a little long considering it wasn't a busy day, I must say the wait was well worth it. I had a cup of clam chowder along with a BBQ burger, and it was great! It was generally inexpensive as well. Other good things about the place include the view you get when looking out toward the harbor, plus the neat knick knacks on the walls (and as a road sign collector, I loved the old road signs). I will never go back here. It looked like a fun spot to grab dinner with my friends - good atmosphere on the main strip, lots of people, etc etc. There was a 25 minute wait for a table for 6, but we figured that's the price to pay to go to someplace fun. No biggie. We'll just get some drinks and hang out. We stood at the bar for LITERALLY 15 minutes with both bartenders hanging around serving other people (even multiple rounds to one group), completely ignoring us (maybe they had something against two girls in their 20s trying to get some wine? I don't know!) even when we said "excuse me" they just ignored us. SO RUDE. I used to waitress and I've never skipped a tip before, but I left a big fat ZERO when we finally got our drinks. Although even after she took our order it took 10 minutes to actually pour the drinks. We were fuming. Then, our table wasn't ready for at least another 15 minutes, bringing the total time to more like 45 than the original 25, which normally wouldn't have been a big deal, but we didn't get seated until like 9:15, and the place closed at 10. I guess the one redeeming feature was that our waitress was super nice. Even if she did bring out our food 30 seconds after our appetizers. The food was alright, but my boyfriend said the fish 'n chips sucked. I wouldn't go here if you want a seafood-y place. This is more just bar/pub food with some lobster options. The plates were super hot which means they were probably under the heat lamps for a while during the time our appetizer was being made and eaten. Gah. Maybe this place doesn't like tourists or whatever, but god, GET OVER IT. That's how you make a living in a town like Bar Harbor. I definitely won't be going back here. Boo! read more

Average food, average (in some cases above average) prices, average service, but under average experience. We were taken to a table almost immediately. The child in me was happy to see the place mats are coloring pages and there are crayons on the table. The waiter came in a decent amount of time. Not too fast, but didn't take so long that I feel the need to complain. Husband ordered the Bar Harbor Real Ale and is still raving about it... "It was smooth..." I ordered my usual... A 'New York Apple' (but to these parts known as a Vodka, cranberry juice, and apple pucker). Mine was just okay. Nothing to write home about. For dinner... I ordered the Garlicky Shrimp Scampi ($16). My husband ordered the Steak & Lobster (for $33, which compared to other local eateries was cheap... Or so we thought). Food came out quick enough. The reason I said $33 was cheap was because other local joints were saying market price was $44. HOWEVER, $44 was for lobster tail and steak. Our $33 went toward a few scraps of 'lazy man's lobster' on top of steak. Total before tip was $70.18. Way too much and you'll see why if you continue reading. Food came out reasonably quickly. Again, not too fast, but not horribly slow. My 'buttery parmesan' sauce was neither buttery nor parmesan. Simply oily. That's it. Not great. Noodles were burnt (noticeably brown in color in many cases). They aren't busy, so I don't see a worthy excuse. Husband's plate was very underwhelming. We though for $33 there would be a fairly large plate of foot. Not the case. Lobster was rubbery, but as he said, "maybe that's just how the lobster is." I don't think that's the case, but you be the judge. His steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables were all good, but not worth the $33 we paid. The worst part of my experience... While I was eating when my food first came, the table next to us was being cleared and cleaned. I was a bus girl at a restaurant so I know what it's like. You should never spray at an angle where those who are still eating may get sprayed. Well, not the case for Geddy's on this particular evening. My arm was getting quite wet from the spray, but I kept it up to attempt to protect my food. Didn't work. May seem petty, but imagine trying to eat while being sprayed with cleaner... Beyond frustrated with the price we paid for the not fantastic experience. Review also posted to Google. read more

Not very good. Service was good, but they seemed confused as to who had what tables. "Wood fired" Pizza was not at all wood fired tasting. A frozen pizza for $3 would have been better. Guac and chips--guac was good, chips were sparse. Fried Scallops were not good. Chicken caprese sandwich had Wayyyy too much pesto aioli. And surprisingly NOT tasty.
