    Strawberry Cheesecake

This place is great for a late night food spot. They're open 24 hours. The staff was really nice and welcoming. We ordered the crab cakes for the app and all I can say is wow! They were so delicious and you could tell they were homemade. So tasty and delicious throughout. I have to order this again when I visit. It's a must! I requested my beef roast sandwich into a warp and it was good but could've been better with extra mayo. The ingredients were fresh and the wrap was stacked with meat! We had the strawberry cheesecake for dessert and it was amazing. The particular dish was recommended to me and I can see why they hyped it up. It was pretty tasty. The cream cheese was rich and the strawberries were fresh.

A regular diner located on 2nd Ave at 35th street. A short walk from the 35th street ferry terminals. Had breakfast there at 10AM. Good food Great service.

Food poisoning with a side of mac (apparently you had to pay extra to melt the cheese)

I came here with extremely high hopes for a classic diner meal. Lets just say, it did not go as planned. I ordered the mac and cheese, the waiter gave me a bowl of pasta in liquid with two slices of orange cheese on either side. The waiter laughed as he set it down. I had THREE bites. Immediately felt sick to my stomach, literally and emotionally. I was throwing up ALL night unable to move. I was even put on bed rest and had to miss several days of work. Guys do not come here, it is overpriced and you WILL get food poisoning. Because of this incident I can only eat bananas for the next two weeks! **** you, Gemini! Im more than disappointed.

    Lamb Gyro on Pita Deluxe

I had a poor experience at this establishment 12 years ago but tonight's was just the opposite. The service was good, the lamb gyro was perfectly cooked and the restaurant was clean and well lit. I swore I'd never return but I'm so glad I did! Maybe there's a few lessons to be learned here. To restaurant owners and manages: 1 bad experience could lose a customer forever or at least a decade in my case. Readers of reviews: one bad review doesn't necessarily mean the place is awful. And maybe a final message to myself: maybe I should allow three strikes before it's called out.

Cheeseburger with onions and mushrooms. Cheese fries on the side.

Really great burger, cooked perfectly, with tasty fries. Friendly service, and well maintained interior.

First plus its 24 hours open! Great for weekend late night snacks- Their breakfast is good too. Good worth for money. Love their shakes and they have a good variety of omelettes! One of the cool diners in the neighborhood!

Me and my friend had decided to go here for some 9pm diner experience, nothing crazy. He ordered a chicken sandwich and I had ordered the gyro. The chicken was so bland and the sandwich had no flavor (it was also missing the tomato). My gyro definitely did not look like one and I got thick tomato and onion slices that did not resemble a gyro whatsoever. The only good thing was the water and the fries were okay I guess. I really tried to give it a chance but man it was a pretty bad experience.

Order a burger deluxe. The fries where under cook and not good at all and burger seemed unevenly cooked. I would have sent it back but I order through uber. Which they pretty much delivered it crushed.

As far as diners go.... This one made me feel a little uncomfortable, but I guess that's what us Geminis do; I wouldn't expect anything less... or more lol I just grabbed wings and skins, the skins were odd, like big fries as opposed to the boats I used to get as a kid but I sorta went there with the idea to break the chicken into the skin... could t do that! Not that I wanted to at that point, got the wings fry so they were nice and crisp, sauce on the side- pretty dang good.... Decent meal, decent service, creepy staff and creepy guests... guess I fit in well! Lol

Definitely one of the best diners in the area and it's 24 hours - a win win! The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and you will definitely leave full. Highly recommend.

A incredibly classic NY diner, service is pretty fast and they are always quick to refill your coffee. The food is very average but hits the spot after a late night! Pretty clean as well. My biggest complaint about this spot is that it's very expensive for a dinner, over $20 for an omelette and some home fries.

The service was horrible! The staff were rude and disrespectful. It took them 45mins to take our order. The food was really bad too.

After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. So another hostess came out and he told us that we could drop the pulley off at the hotel around the corner and they charge five dollars so said so done. I took it for her as that hostess gave her a chair to sit down and by the time, my son and I came back, they were already seated waiting for us on the first floor, which was great. The ambience is diner style. Hence the reason for their name, and I understand why they don't allow any pulley's or luggage because the area is tight so keep that in mind. Fast forward to 2026 (where I'm finally not broke as hell), the day has finally come, and I am ecstatic about stepping foot into this diner that surprisingly is still standing in 2026. The inside certainly feels like a diner, but not quite the old-school dinginess that I'm used to--it's clean. Given that it was Sunday at noon, it was very crowded in there and mainly flooded with tourist groups, but a table opened up for us pretty quickly. For a NYC diner, the menu is certainly small - this is probably done to keep tables moving faster. I got the Pastrami Hash & Eggs and it was just overdone and super oily and dry--almost as if they just refried everything except the sunnyside egg. Not gonna lie, I was very disappointed, given that I had waited for so long to come here, only to get food that was an attempt to give the staleness another chance by refrying and reheating. I actually beat myself up a little the rest of the day for finishing the whole thing, knowing that the oversaltiness was flirting with opening up some high blood pressure. It was also not moderately priced by any means (was close to $30), but I know I'm helping pay for that Midtown and proximity to Central Park pricing. Not sure if I'll return, which saddens me, but also knowing that they're part of a conglomerate at Fireman Group (and still run independently in a sense) makes total sense
