Medium bowl with lean, ham, beef, onions, snow peas, and water chestnuts.

My husband and I have been going to Genghis Grill in this location for a long time. It is always been good! I ordered DoorDash from Genghis Grill because my husband is out of town and I just received it. It is the best bowl I've ever had. They obviously took the time to add exactly what I liked and use the exact amount of sauce. It is beyond delicious and I appreciate so much the hard work that the servers at this particular store did to make my meal extra special. Thank you so much!

My face after eating at Genghis Grill

Genghis Grill is not a restaurant -- it's a full-blown culinary experience that feels like you unlocked a secret DLC for food. From the moment you walk in, you already know you're about to eat dangerously good. The vibe alone sets the tone: lively, energetic, and built around the idea that you are the chef, and that level of freedom should honestly be illegal. Let's start with the concept, because this is where Genghis Grill clears 99% of restaurants instantly. You don't just order a meal -- you engineer it. You grab a bowl and load it up like your life depends on it. Noodles stacked to the heavens. Rice perfectly layered. Meats piled so high it feels like you're committing a small crime. Steak? Yes. Chicken? Obviously. Shrimp? Don't even question it. You're in control, and Genghis Grill gives you zero limits. It's empowering. It's beautiful. It's borderline emotional. Then come the vegetables -- and even if you're not a veggie person, Genghis Grill will convert you. The vegetables are fresh, crisp, and colorful like they were picked five minutes ago by someone who genuinely loves produce. Broccoli that actually snaps. Onions that caramelize into perfection. Mushrooms that soak up flavor like sponges sent from heaven. Every scoop just feels right. Now let's talk sauces, because this is where things get insane. The sauce bar is pure chaos in the best way possible. Teriyaki? Fire. Mongolian BBQ sauce? Legendary. Sweet chili, garlic, ginger, soy -- you can mix and match like a mad scientist until you create something that tastes custom-made for your soul. You're not guessing; you're crafting a masterpiece. And when you hand that bowl over, there's this moment of anticipation that hits harder than waiting for a beat drop. Watching the grill masters work is its own form of entertainment. That massive circular grill? Iconic. The sound of the food hitting the surface, the steam rising, the spatulas flying -- it's like a live-action cooking show where you're the main character. They cook everything to perfection: nothing overdone, nothing underwhelming, just perfectly seared, perfectly mixed, perfectly balanced flavor in every bite. And when you finally sit down and take that first bite? Unreal. The flavors hit instantly. Everything you chose works together like it was meant to be. The noodles are coated perfectly, the meats are juicy, the vegetables are tender but still alive, and the sauce ties it all together in a way that makes you pause and think, "Yeah... I cooked this." That sense of accomplishment makes it taste even better. Portion sizes? Absolutely ridiculous -- in the best way. You will not leave hungry. You might not even leave standing straight. Genghis Grill is the kind of place where you're planning your next visit while you're still eating the current meal. The staff deserves praise too. Friendly, helpful, and always willing to guide you if it's your first time -- or hype you up if you already know what you're doing. The whole place runs smoothly, and you can tell they actually care about making sure people have a great experience. Bottom line: Genghis Grill is elite. It's customizable, flavorful, fun, and insanely satisfying. Whether you're going for comfort food, a protein-loaded feast, or a wild sauce experiment, it delivers every single time. This is the type of restaurant you recommend aggressively. The type you defend online. The type you crave at random times of the day. If you haven't been to Genghis Grill, you're missing out. And if you have been? You already know this review is 100% accurate.

Let's pray I do not get food poisoning. It was worse than a Golden Corral. Food was all over the counter & in the wrong bins. You would think with all the people they had on staff & how slow it was it would be nicer. Looks like it may have gotten a little fix up but some seats need some help.

The quality of this place has really gone down hill. The selection has decreased and the price has increased . Service was good. The fried rice was mushy and disappointing. It tasted like a convenience store selection.

    Water

was fireeee. the steak was good, the shrimp was good, the crab was poppin, the sauces...10/10. the water was very hydrating and tasted like water. the margartias...dont get me started...fireeee

Genghis Grill's table environment is great, cleanliness is on point, and staff are very friendly and attentive.

Food is always great, and a handy go to when doing keto. Just choose the cabbage instead of rice.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

Unfortunate that it only came with 4 pieces Very delicious ramen with chewy noodles! All of these noodles held their sauces and soups very well. Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty.
