    Chicken Noodle Soup...my favorite
    Jacqui C.

I have been going here often lately. I wish I knew about it sooner. I love diners and family owned businesses. The food here is very good. I try to get something different each time I go and each time it was amazing. The service is always friendly, attentive, and pleasant. This place is always packed. You can tell a lot of the customers have been going there for years. They are only opened to 3pm, so go for breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend them.

Love the classic vibes has an older breakfast joint vibe. Food is very delicious especially the french toast. Everything went so well together and complimented flavors. We ate it all lol . Server was very pleasant and nice. They all are very nice and friendly. Five stars very good

Stopped on our way through Cleveland... so glad we did. Traditional diner with warm service. Greeted with "hiya darlin" so you know the service is going to be good. Coffee cup was never low and food arrived in about 5 minutes. Strawberry pancake was to die for!

10/10 service! Employee's are extremely kind, food is freshly homemade (and amazing!). Environment gives a homey feel. Amazing place for a nice sunday brunch.

George's Super Special ($7.95): bacon, eggs, and pancakes -- on Tuesday, 25 April 2023

QUICK REVIEW -- Simple and delicious diner food. HUGE inside with plenty of room to sit including sitting at the counter. Quantity is average and similar to most diners (not too much and not too little food). The server Cindy was really nice and attentive (5/5 for Cindy). I first visited in April 2023 and then I visited again in July 2023, both times for breakfast. I've had their orange juice, french toast, omelets, tried their pancakes, eggs, and bacon combo (George's super special at $7.95). Their french toast is my favourite item on their menu and it is topped with powdered sugar. I certainly will be back as this is one of the most affordable restaurants in Cleveland that I've been to and it's very decent food. I recommend this local and small business. **** - 83/150 total reviews in 2023 - 634 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 November 2023

probably the best breakfast spot in cleveland, hometown diner with amazing pancakes and friendly service. minimal frills but if you're into a good greasy spoon place, this is the spot to go!

The waitress was very friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. I ordered the veal parmesan. I love a lot of sauce and for the first time going to a restaurant I didn't have to ask for extra. I also got beef barley soup and a side salad. It was just the right amount of food with a little left over. It's a cozy neighborhood restaurant that is a must try.

My fav!! Corn, beef Reuben sandwich 20/10 !!!

Best place to eat, the employees very nice and friendly... extremely recommend. I love everything from this place

We also witnessed a lot of folks coming in to grab to-go orders. The menu is very simple and straightforward. They serve breakfast all day and lunch service begins at 11am. We both had breakfast. Between us, we had scrambled eggs with cheese, eggs fried over-medium, bacon, French toast, pancakes and potatoes. Everything was decent. I wished that the cheese had been cooked into the scrambled eggs and allowed to melt, but that was okay. Also, the texture of the breakfast potatoes were like mashed potatoes that had been smashed and burned on the flattop grill. We weren't a fan of those. Overall, the place was cute and quaint and the staff was friendly. Everything was priced very reasonably as well. Also, anywhere you can find the locals at is usually a good sign!

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

On the outside it's a big silver diner. Looks smaller than it is. Inside there is a good amount of seating and it's not small. Parking is right out front. We sat and ordered pretty quick. I got the chicken noodle soup and salad. Kathy got the Greek salad with chicken. We both got the Greek dressing. The chicken noodle was homemade with plenty of big carrots, celery, egg noodles and a bit of chicken. It was good. Could have used a bit more chicken but it was full of veggies and tasted good. Plus it was hot. Love it. Salad came and it was a decent size. Also lots of veggies. It was just enough food. And the price was great under $8. The Greek salad could have been a bit larger. I thought it looked a bit skimpy. But Kathy got a whole chicken breast cut up. She sub's out the gyro meat. Again dressing was homemade and really good. The desserts looked super good but we did not partake. The menu is good with Bfast, lunch, dinners. Everything from burgers, sandwiches, pasta. Lots to choose from and prices are decent. Service was good. She was very attentive. Overall, good experience and good quick lunch. I'd go back.

The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.
