This is my first Time at the new location. Will say I miss the old location! It stayed packed. This move wasn't wanted but they're making the best of it. Cakes on display when you walk it. Plenty of seating and staff are attentive. Food... typical diner food. If you like steak they have a deal on Wednesdays! All you can eat but you have to dine in.

High quality diner in the heart of Western Queens, NY. My larger than normal (by request for 2 extra eggs) spinach mushroom omelette was excellent and sized right. Rye toast was toasted perfectly. Portions in general are generous even without special requests. Our server was highly accurate & friendly but seemed a bit overworked. Service was not slow to the point of detracting from a very enjoyable experience though. There's a large parking lot available, an important plus for this area. The Georgia Diner is always a solid choice!

I finally made it to Georgia Diner after living in the neighborhood for years. I stopped by for lunch with my brother, and we both found the food and service to be solid as far as traditional diners go. I had the tuna melt, which came open-faced on a pita with a side of fries and cole slaw. The melt and the cole slaw were great. The fries could've used a few more minutes in the fryer and a bit more salt, but they were okay. My brother had the silver dollar pancakes and a side of bacon, which he said was tasty. The coffee was your standard diner coffee. Our server was really attentive and kind. We definitely plan to be back soon.

I had high hopes for Georgia Diner because this has been a staple for years now and I've been coming here often! But unfortunately the experience I had was disappointing. I ordered steak and eggs and specifically asked for my steak medium rare. It came out well done. My family also ordered the T-bone steak, requested medium rare as well, and both steaks were also well done. On top of that, the food took a very long time to come out. Between the long wait and the incorrect steak temperatures across multiple orders, the experience was frustrating and not what we expected.

A food companion suggested we check out Georgia Diner since it was nearby our destination. I ordered the corned beef hash with two sunny side up eggs as it is my bench mark meal to order at a diner I have never been to. As suspected, it was prepared in the typical diner way and satisfied my morning hunger. The coffee was solid too, as you really can't go wrong with diner coffee. What unexpectedly stole the show was the doily under the coffee cup. Easily the nicest, highest quality doily I've ever seen. It was such a small touch, but it really stood out. The ambiance was casual and relaxed, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you're in the area and looking for a dependable, no-frills diner, Georgia Diner delivers.

Decent spot for a quick bite. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a local diner. The diner has its own parking lot. We were seated quickly and our server bought the coffee just as quick. I ordered bacon with two eggs over easy. While the eggs and toast were standard diner fare, the bacon was the absolute star of the show. It was thick-cut and perfectly crispy without being burnt. Overall the experience was a respectable 3.7 rating.

Came here in a rainy Saturday morning for breakfast. It looked like a pretty busy diner but we were seated immediately. Since it was cold, I wanted some soup. The Matzah ball soup I got was a small but it was smaller than I normally receive at diners. It was okay, needed a bit more favor. Eggs and bacon were good. Basic breakfast ya know. Can't complain. Our waitress regularly checked up on us. We were also asked for regular coffee refills which was nice.

I'm not sure why this diner has such low reviews or rather mediocre. I've been here a bunch of times in the past, but not within this past year. So, I wanted to come back to see what's changed. The menu has definitely changed as now there's cash or credit card pricing on it. Otherwise, this place hasn't really changed that much. There's still the dessert area where people wait around at too. But we didn't have to wait as there was seating. Got seated right away and was given water and a menu off the bat, too. The service was great, and there are servers everywhere. Foodwise. I ordered the Angel Hair Pomodoro. They gave a ton of pasta and a large portion of the baked chicken, too. I wish they gave more of the sauce, but overall, it was good. It came with either soup or salad on the side, so I picked the soup. All in all, this place shouldn't have such low reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised!

Georgia Diner is a major dining establishment growing up in Elmhurst. It was the place to go after shopping at the mall and you wanted to cool your jets to break for a cup of tea or coffee. As you walk in host greets you and brings you to booth. Staff always makes sure your coffee is filled to the rim. Waitress is fast with getting orders in and your meal comes out pretty quick. Weekends its very busy as you see parking lot fill up. Georgia Diner will always be here in the Elmhurst neighborhood. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict. Decor very festive and cozy here.

Service was well attended. I ordered the eggplant moussakka. The flavor was delicious, and the eggplant was well cooked. The sauce was not too watery and spiced well. The whole family enjoyed the wide selection on the menu. The salad was plain and could be chopped finer; lettuce pieces were too large. The main dining area lighting is a little too dim; they can use better light. The original Georgia diner was nice and bright. They have a parking lot, but the main entrance is tricky because it is very close to the corner of Queens Blvd, so be careful when turning in or out.

Basic Diner food, nothing more, nothing less. While we were in the area, we passed this diner that appeared to be a neighborhood staple. Out of curiosity, we thought to check it out. Fortunately, the wait was short for a party of two. We ordered the 3 egg omelet with spinach and a side of the corned beef hash and breakfast potatoes. This meal came with toast. The second order included a grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes and a side of fries. Each of these meals just tasted blah! I enjoyed the hot chocolate. The fries came fresh, so you could add your own salt. However, the corned beef hash tasted like it came right out of a can and old. Overall, the staff were pleasant and seemed to have a system of getting things done but not enough for me to return.

    Steak and eggs

Ordered the steak and eggs. The steak came out over done. I asked for medium rare But it came out well done. Not going back there again.

As with any diner, the food is pretty average, but the place is located really conveniently and the parking is an ease.

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

My husband chose The Queensboro to celebrate his birthday with a brunch alongside my grandparents,…read moreand it felt like a great chance to revisit a spot we'd previously enjoyed for lunch and dinner. Food: 3.5/5 We made it a point to try a range of brunch options. My grandfather ordered the sweet potato and chorizo hash, I went with the two-egg combo with pork sausage (eggs over easy), and my husband chose the Moroccan eggs. Overall, the food was good and flavorful, especially if you enjoy dishes with a bit more nuance and influence from Spanish or Mexican flavors. That said, as someone who leans more toward classic American diner-style brunch, it didn't fully hit that nostalgic spot for me. It's not that anything was bad--it just wasn't the most memorable brunch I've had. Still, it was nice to explore a different side of their menu beyond the burgers, fries, and pasta we'd tried before. Service: 4/5 The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. However, they do rely on a QR code-style menu, which can be a bit of a learning curve--especially for those who prefer a more traditional ordering experience. During the brunch rush, things definitely got busy and a bit overwhelmed, so service slowed down slightly. One tip: if you already know what you want, it's best to order everything upfront to avoid delays. Vibe: 3.5/5 Like many New York spots, space is tight. Even as a party of four, we were seated at a small square table, which could be challenging if you have strollers or extra belongings. That said, the space still feels cozy and neighborhood-friendly--great for a casual brunch, just not the most spacious. All in all, It's a solid neighborhood brunch spot with interesting, flavor-forward dishes and kind service. I wouldn't call it my top brunch destination, but I'd come back if I were in the area--especially if I was craving something a little different from the usual diner fare.
