This establishment is not fine dinning! Paid $25 a person for a "guaranteed window seat" as it is explained on open table when booking. We got a booth near some people who were actually at the window seats aka "al fresco". Fine we let it go and decided to still enjoy our night! We ordered most of the stuff on the menu! The pasta was not cooked it was dry and spicy. Nothing was good besides the risotto appitizer! When our waiter checked on us he asked how things are we said it was ok and he seemed concerned but nothing changed! At the end we explained the window seating situation where the manager was called by the waiter to solve the problem. She proceeded to define the word "al fresco" and said that it is what we paid for and that nothing can be done. She then walked away after making us feel like we are inadequate and can not understand! Overall very bad ambiance and service plus food! Just stay away! read more

Very nice! Elegant but not formal. Laid back but not cheesy. Has all the ambiance required for a romantic dinner. All the scenery and fun background music for group get-together. And food of a quality to satisfy any pallet. This place is almost inherently a tapas restaurant. It begs you try several smallish items rather going for one of their few larger mains. We had 6 different items and the weakest of which was above average. I'm a bit prejudiced to anything wrapped in bacon since bacon is so damn goon it can make anything palletable and thus I tend to think of it as a wrapping for something g weak. Not the case here. The bacon wrapped dates were great. I'll probably never say that again. Pasta dishes were flavorful but light. Southern style. Portions were just right considering we had three dishes each. I've seen reviewers complain about portion size but I think might not understand this cuisine. And the pricing is appropriate. Great location. Excellent service. So in my head, My review goes back n forth between a 3 and a 4. I'll give it a 3.4. The restaurant opened at 5 and we arrived at around 5:08 after wasting time on the tables downstairs. (That wasn't a good idea). The place is lovely and right off of the elevator. We did not have reservations and the hostess said that she can get us a reservation at 5:15. Okay, so... we had a "reservation" for 7 minutes after we arrived. We said okay and decided to wait at the bar of course. While walking to the bar, we realized that there is about 4 people max in the restaurant area. So why did we have to wait you ask? Good question. Once we got to the bar, Beau the bartender asked if we were dining at the bar. Good idea Beau! Since they wouldn't seat us. So we dined at the bar with beau. Beau was good and attentive and Max was good as well. The food: White Lasagna - taste decent. Really small portion Lobster Ravioli - portion like an appetizer Wine - good complimentary bread - good After we ate, we were still friggin' hungry so we ordered a pizza appetizer. My friend and I just had a very enjoyable brunch at Giada's. It was our second visit there in two years and both times were great. Christopher, our waiter, was very friendly, personable and accommodating. The bottomless mimosas are wonderful! My friend's "Giada's white sangria" was very delicious. She ordered the Breakfast Contadina and I had the Chicken with Polenta Waffles. Both entrees were delicious and served with interesting condiments including lemon mascarpone spread and vanilla bean maple syrup. Nowhere else will you find this! Highly recommend a visit here. We recently moved from Henderson to Coachella Valley, CA. Prior to our departure I wanted to dine at Giada's. Made reservations through the usual app. Valet parking in rear entrance at the Cromwell. Made a lengthy walk to the Las Vegas Boulevard for entry. Made our way up the flight of stairs to a reception area. The hostess stand reception area is separated from the dining area. We were greeted by smiling staff that cheerfully seated us. Very comfortable seating, nice linen tablecloths. Giada has a great buzz going and delightful ambience. Wonderful selections of wine and mixed alcoholic beverages. Stayed with the price fix menu and got to keep the menu and photo of Giada. Excellent choice. I have returned several times since leaving Las Vegas. Truly a wonderful, well run dining feature that will give you a memorable dinning experience. read more

This place is incredible. Walking in the entryway, you're met with grandeur. I was in Vegas for business with a group of girls and we were a bit early for our reservation. The photo booth in the waiting area made time fly - and the decor was incredible. We were promptly sat at what is arguably the best view in the house with a full view of the strip. We wanted to try everything, so we tried the Ricotta Crostinis, Bacon Wrapped Dates and Tomato Arancini. The ricotta crostini appetizer was the perfect balance, nice and light with a hint of sweet stemming from the ricotta/honey combo. The bacon wrapped dates were a favorite, particularly if you like a hearty app. The tomato arancini was addictive. We ate every single bite. We shared the Cacio e Pepe and it's a true show. Brought out with a large cheese wheel and made table side, this was legit the best cacio e pepe I've ever had. We had desserts, but honestly the rest of the meal was the star of the show. Italian chicken was moist as promised, but fried flour coating is not the same as fried skin. ie. where was the flavor. In this case I felt the spices were lacking. Desserts were good, but should we be asked prior to them arriving at the table if we would like coffee. Normally I do order the coffee, but not 5 minutes after the dessert has arrived and almost finished. Our main waiter and the bus boy were super awesome on the service and appeared to love their jobs (except for the pepper incident and the coffee mishap). Would I go there again. Most likely not because of the cost vs food perfection factor. Still deserving of 4 stars because I did not tell them after first bite of my issues. Giada's is my absolute favorite restaurant in Las Vegas!!! I have had every menu there (breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner). Breakfast is very simple. Lunch is FABULOUS!!! Please try the sandwiches and fried string zucchini! Happy hour- the burger is drool worthy. Dinner- please keep in mind this is the most expensive AND heartiest. We had the chef's menu which has multiple courses, and they are deceiving since they come out on small, white plates but will have you full by the end with no room left for dessert. I always order no matter what time of day, cookies to go! They are so soft and not overly sweet. Giada's is a MUST for any foodie in Vegas!!! PLEASE NOTE!! Some reviews complain the pasta is doughy. It is FRESH, made in house!! Having been to Italy, real pasta is not tough. I was as impressed with this place as I am with the annoying way Giada pronounces Italian words = not at all. Overly pretentious food with out of place ingredients. Not to mention, everything was served lukewarm at best. No wonder I was able to make a last minute reservation during one of Vegas's busiest convention weeks. We tried 6 items; crab/lobster ravioli, orzo meatballs, carbonara arancini, bucatini, brussel sprouts and a hazelnut chocolate dessert. Not one noteworthy item. The arancini were just shy of disgusting. It was as if they were stuffed with burnt fatty sausage bits and served with a very strange lemony sauce. The orzo meatballs were just okay. They were lukewarm and crumbled apart but the flavor was decent. The ravioli was nearly ice cold and completely forgettable in flavor. While it's a beautiful restaurant, it's a total gastro let down. This is normally one of our favorite places in Vegas. This time was disappointing. Nothing worth taking a picture of! The lobster ravioli is normally delicious but tonight it was too sweet. Not sure why they added sugar to the sauce. It would have been better just with butter and lemon. Also the bar tender must be new. The signature cocktail, the serpico, is usually amazing. After trying Giada's on my previous trip, I knew I wanted to make this the special birthday dinner for this trip. My long time friend and I were celebrating birthdays (a day apart) and I knew Giada's would make for a great celebration dinner and they didn't disappoint. I made reservations via Open Table before I even began my trip and I'm glad I did. Our birthdays fell on the weekend this year and it was fairly crowded on this Sunday night so the reservations assured we got prime seating during the busy dinner rush. On the second floor of the Cromwell Hotel, Giada's overlooks the Las Vegas Strip with views of the Bellagio Fountains and Caesars Palace across the street, a purely Vegas setting with the lights, fountains and excitement just outside. We were seated at the window and our service was impeccable throughout. After Giada's bread selection, we started our dinner with the Mushroom Crostini and Tricolore Salad. For the main courses, I had the Ravioli (lobster & crispy Brussel sprouts) and she had the Petit Filet. Everything tasted fantastic and the Ravioli really was done well with the richness of the sauce. Dessert was again wonderful. We had the Citrus Ricotta Cheesecake and a Chocolate Souffle completed the dinner experience with a gastronomic exclamation point. This was my only meal on the Strip this visit to Vegas. Well I wanted to give the restaurant 5 stars but no can do. We had a reservation Saturday night 1/26 and we were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere. It is cozy, with a very classy vibe there. I hope that Giada or the investors read the reviews here as it is important. Wine list is nice but bottles are pricey. Some nice signature cocktails on an iPad that they call an interactive menu. Enter our server Joseph. He had very nice energy and a big smile and was very friendly. Bread came and it was delicious. Had condiments to go with it. A lemon butter, Calabrian chili, maldon salt & deep fried capers. First issue of the night, LOTS of bread and a TABLESPOON of lemon butter! This was the first skimp of the evening. If you are bringing that much bread then bering more butter. So we ordered Fritto Misto for an appetizer which is deep fried calamari and shrimp with a lemon aioli. The seafood was crispy but needed salt badly. We had to salt it. The aioli was delicious however a "smear" of it on the plate equaling maybe 1 tablespoon is not enough aioli period. I kept trying to get Joseph's attention but I couldn't. He was talking to another co-worker and didn't look up. By the time he came over we were pretty much ready for our entrees. We couldn't finish the appetizer because there wasn't anything to dip it in! While we were sitting at our table another couple was seated next to us. Their server kept standing between our table and theirs and his BUTT kept banging into our bread and condiments! This was repeatedly!! The servers have zero manners. His butt was literally a half inch from our table. Their was more room on the other side of the table but he kept disturbing us! We both ordered the bucatini with tomato, Calabrian chili and fresh ricotta. I'm Italian, half Calabrian. I know Calabrian chili is hot, however when there is so much in the pasta you can barely eat it then we have a problem. In addition there was literally a 1/2 TEASPOON of ricotta on top!! A half teaspoon!! At least put a tablespoon on the pasta to cut the hot chili!! Talk about skimpy! My husband had a teaspoon on his pasta! No parmesan on pasta which I figured was because of the ricotta! Just could barely find the ricotta! I tried to get Joseph's attention but I couldn't! I was waving my arms trying to call his name....jeez. He finally came over and asked me if it was too hot. I said yes! He said you want some plain tomato to add to it! I said no! I honestly wanted to say how about another order made properly but I didn't. Just was over it. We had toasted marshmallow gelato for dessert which was the best thing we ate! We needed it to put the fire out in our mouths! Meanwhile, other server's butt against our table. The service was good and atmosphere really nice. I was disappointed in the food as the skimping on key components of each dish is NOT what a high end restaurant should do. Love Giada and who doesn't love Italian food? Recently went in to try it as a friend told me Giada had a place in Vegas. I thought the atmosphere was great, the establishment was clean and airy, light and fresh. It was a great place to eat lunch on a sunny day on the strip. I'll start with what I loved and then explain why I gave it 3 Stars. The menus selection was great, and everything I ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The serving staff was pleasant, accommodating and apologetic for anything that may have gone wrong. I tried to order a selection of dishes from apps to mains even though I wasn't going to finish all of them (though I almost did) so I could get a great feel for the offerings. All but the dessert impressed me. Sadly I thought the brownie dessert was too hard, the brownie was 'frozen,' or maybe it really was. Pizza selection was great and Giada's burger was fantastic. Even went for a waffles dish and that was great too. Sadly I had to give it 3 Stars because when we walked in it took a while for a host to approach us and when she did she was somewhat short/rude and condescending. It didn't help that later during my visit she was swigging water directly from a big Acqua Panna bottle at the bar. I just thought the way that looked was unprofessional and she could have easily poured it into a glass and drank it. It's not her house... Add'l there were plenty of open tables yet for some reason waking in without a reservation meant their next available was 2:30PM and it was noon when I walked in!! They have a lounge area in the middle too with tons of seating, yet I wa stood no food service there... Finally I was told I could sit at the bar but that it was also full. I decided to head to the bar to have a look myself and found a. Inner of empty seats there too. Pics attached, even one of the Acqua Panna bottle swigging (though blurry b/c I won't publicly disparage anyone as I don't know the rules at Giada's). To their defense I was there in Saturday the 10th and I have heard that many places are short staffed this weekend since they are on vacation from the previous weekend's super bowl (biggest weekend in Vegas I hear). So that could have lead to the reason there were many open tables but 2.5 hours to wait to be seated....? read more

The best meal I've had in Vegas! We ordered the lemon pesto grilled cheese, strawberry pineapple polenta waffles, and classic gnocchi. Each dish surpassed my expectations! The grilled cheese came with some fried veggies with a garlic aioli and all of the flavors just worked so well together. The polenta added a cut of a crunch to the waffles, and the pineapples were grilled to perfection. The maple syrup and Nutella paired quite nicely. Located in the Cromwell, Giada designed this restaurant to feel like you're a guest at her home. It's elegant and simple. Soft music, big windows with lots of natural light and pretty views. We arrived a few minutes before 2, and the hostess said we missed lunch but could order from a bar menu and only the lounge/bear seating was available. So while we waited, I searched for a menu and saw that lunch was actually until 2:30. The bartender was nice enough to let us order, but the situation was a bit of a disappointment. While we were there, Giada was also visiting, so it was cool to see her. Apparently she comes once a month, and seemed to know and interact well with a lot of the staff members. She changes up the menu pretty often and gets quite creative from what I've heard. By the host stand there's a free phot booth! Be sure to stop in for a picture. read more

We had a reservation for brunch at 12:30. Arrived a few minutes before and were told they were a little behind and it would be about a ten minute wait. It ended up being about 15 but wasn't too bad. The hostess gave us menus to look through and they have a free photo booth in the waiting area. We were seated and promptly greeted by our server. I wish I could remember his name but he said he was the head server for lunch. He was awesome. Made some great recommendations. 4 of us ordered the unlimited mimosas and he was on top of it the entire meal without us even asking. For food, we ordered a bunch of dishes I'll explain below. Baked pasta: it was lasagna the day we were there. I would rate this 3/5. The pasta was extremely soft so not my favorite. The flavor was great, though. Orzo meatballs: again the texture not so great. Very soft and falling apart but the flavor was great. 4/5 Carbonara flatbread: really great very tasty and a generous portion for sharing. 5/5 Lemon pesto grilled cheese: soooo good. My favorite dish of the day. Definitely get this and add the prosciutto 5/5 Caress frittata: delicious, nice serving. 5/5 must order for brunch! Someone from our table ordered the Breakfast American and it looked amazing. I tried the sausage meatballs and they were delicious. I definitely recommend this for brunch. I haven't had dinner but next time I'm in town I will definitely try! Been meaning to write this review since I returned from LV. Giada (the restaurant not the beautiful chef) is located at the Cromwell on the LV Strip. Arrived early so naturally nuzzled up to the busy bar and received friendly and immediate attention. Instead of ordering my regular Grey Goose on the rocks I eyed a bottle of Grey Goose XV. The bar tender explained it was being test marketed (95% vodka/5% cognac) and poured a taste. Excellent start to the evening. Seated shorty after and we opted for the tasting menu. Antipasto selection, to share, was outstanding. My next course was freshly handmade pasta in a lemon crema sauce. Outstanding once again. Moved on to a beef tenderloin that needed no knife ... served with a salsa verde sauce. Service was excellent and while not rushed the timing between servings was spot on. A cart of assorted desserts arrived for the finale. After we each selected a dessert the server said "c'mon... take another" and we did. Going be be difficult to visit Vegas again without spending at least one evening dining here again. I'll do it! read more

the moment i stepped onto the escalator as it took me to Giada's restaurant i was feeling excited...the moment has arrived!! all those years of watching her shows and finally i get to taste her food!!! of course a part of me wish to meet her in person at the restaurant. reservation is a must! we reserved a table at 5:15pm on a saturday. it was perfect timing. not crowded and because of the pace of service, by the time you finish dinner you still have time to do things in vegas (ie: watch a show). i thought it wasn't going to be kids friendly but they do offer high chairs for little ones. we were seated by the window which allows us to enjoy the las vegas strip view and the bellagio fountain. This was a plus as it helped entertained my toddler throughout the meal! They dont offer kids menu but they have pizzettes that are suitable for little kids. And with their delicious complimentary breads, that totally can fill up a toddler's tummy! my daughter ate so much bread and breadsticks, by the time the pizzette arrived she was full. as a matter of fact she preferred the complimentary bread basket over the pizzette!! the complimentary breads were SO good. what really was the star was the condiments that you can pair with the breads! the mascarpone butter was so good, the fried capers was well executed, normally i dont like much capers cuz it's too sour, but this fried capers was different and it balances the sweetness of the mascarpone butter. The basil pesto was mm mm mmmmmm!! we ordered an appetizer, a sampler of salumi and formaggi... everything was delicious. i didn't know that parmaggiano reggiano would be sooooo delicious with honeycombs! I'm totally going to recreate this at home.. the only problem is getting that type of honey. i ended up ordering the Short ribs Agnolotti and i thought it was just okay. i don't recommend this dish. the agnolotti was not piping hot, i felt like it was sitting at the kitchen for a long time before it arrived on my table. The pasta was hardening too. The taste was nothing spectacular and the portion was extremely small. I'm so glad we ordered the appetizer and that there were complimentary breads. My husband ordered the white lasagna and that one was way better than my agnolotti. overall i think the appetizers and the breads outshine the main course. The cauliflower soup was a beautiful site and delicious, Tricolore salad was very well done, the right amount of dressing, scallop risotto was great, the scallops were cooked just right, shrimp spaghetti (shrimp was to well done for me, hence the 4's instead of 5). I'm a stickler when it comes to the cooking of seafood and the shrimp was missing the delicacy that it's supposed to have. We came here for Sunday Brunch, straight from our flight into Vegas. We thought Giada at the Cromwell would be special and a treat. I've always watched her TV shows. First, I want to say that the service was wonderful. The ambiance was nice; however sitting at the window would have been nicer. We ordered as appetizers the pastry basket, yummy. See attached picture. The chocolate filled pastry is missing. Sorry, we were hungry and ate it before the picture. We were disappointed with the sunrise waffle (nothing spectacular) and the lobster hash (lobster was overcooked and was only warm). I have been here four times. The first time was during brunch as soon as they opened and it was ok. The second two times I was very impressed, both for dinner. One evening I had charred octopus, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and rack of lamb - very delicious!! The portions are generous and everything is well seasoned so I think it's worth the price. Brunch however seems to always fall short: Service was good and overall the food quality was high; what ruined it for me was the absolutely CHARRED aftertaste of both my cappuccino and my husband's espresso. Then I laughed out loud when I got the check and the charge for each was $8.00 - laughable considering I can make better espresso with nescafe at home. The other tacky thing was charging for the ciabatta bread that goes with the appetizer platter, which is already fairly priced ($27) - another $6.00 just for bread? Just make the whole platter $33.00, seems classier. Also the utensils and beautiful drinking glasses could have used some heavy polishing. All in all: worth it minus the disgusting coffee. read more

Clean bright, great decor, good music, friendly professional staff. Food was very good with a nice portion. Had one cocktail each, salads, bread board, signature lemon shrimp pasta and lobster ravioli. My issue was the price for the Giada experience.....shrimp add on to salad was $15 for two shrimp, really? Bread board $10. Each pasta was over $30....total bill with tip was $207. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, pasta and sauces excellent but that cost in todays economy....you decide. read more

I must say, I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed this restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Giada's recipes and I actually got into cooking again after watching her show, which helped me deal with the stress of school way back when. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised how upscale the food was and I must say, our server was easily the best I've had. The boyfriend and I had to try Giada's when it opened up. I always watched her cooking shows and enjoyed them. So once we saw a she had a restaurant we just had to stop by. I've have been several times, and each time I have had the Sangria there is two kinds the white and the red, I definitely recommend trying each to see which one you prefer best, they are both good but in my option I like the red one a lot more. The food is always amazing we've had the flatbread and many small plates and they are all very delicious with so much great flavor. I will definitely be stopping by to get some Sangria (red) next time I am in town. read more

Came here without a reservation on a Saturday night, but found two seats at the bar with ease. We ordered the Linguine with Shrimp, which was so light and flavorful - we did feel as though it lacked sauce, so our waiter brought us extra and it did the trick! The Margherita Pizza was pheNOMz *heavy on the NOMz*. It had so much flavor even with the few ingredients on it. I'd definitely order this again. Service was amazing- the waiter and rest of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night. Next time I'll be back, but with a reservation so I can sit near the windows and enjoy views of the strip! read more

I had my wedding anniversary here at Giada in the Cromwell hotel. I bought a deal from Travelzoo - always check for deals before you go to save some money :) Service was excellent and they served us breads with different sauces. So we skipped appetizers and straight to entree. We shared the spaghetti on a cheese wheel and it was to die for. I also got the limoncello cocktail which was amazing.
