The Food: The food here is all cooked from scratch... Yes, this is a New York style establishment, so your pizza will be sitting there ready to be reheated for the oven... The point is to grab and go! But its all made from scratch, put together wise that is. I got the Eggplant Parmesan Hot Sub and boy, was this good. The eggplant was an actual vertical slice deep fried and served piping hot on a sub with cheese, tomatoes, marinara, basil leaves parmesan etc... OMG. And for less than 10 dollars with a drink! Boom... The location: We went for lunch and parking wasn't bad. The place is medium size... on an evening it looks like it can get pretty busy. Its a little old school decor with regular old booth sitting but it does have a fresh coat of paint. The putside area is also pretty nice. The service: When we went, there were 3 gentle men working, 1 was taking the order and cooking, one was cleaning inside and the other outside. The signore was courteous, funny and attentive... he did criticize my order because my buddies all got pizzas... he stated that I will be waiting and should have gotten a pizza... but this is just casual banter and sometime dumb customers dont know what they really should be getting. read more

They say it's fresh and the best in town but, it's far from it. I ordered two slices and a salad. To start the salad had thick cuts of cheese and was soaked in vinaigrette! Who in the world enjoys soggy salad? Then the pizza.. after I had placed my order I see the man who took my order just reach for slices that we're sitting in a self!! No heating to keep it from getting cold. He just plops it in the oven then served. Surprisingly it wasn't as greasy as most other pizzas but man the crust was stale and the cheese didn't taste good. To make it even worse, I had abdominal pain for the rest of the day. I would avoid this place, there is cheaper pizza available elsewhere that is made to order and won't get you sick. read more

Called this place after two other pizza places didn't answer. The guy was friendly, saw they had good reviews and figured what the heck! I ordered two pizzas. 1 - Beef 1- Meat lovers. When I got there I was surprised to see it wasn't an actual restaurant. Once I saw this I knew the pizza was going to be great. I ended up ordering some cheese bread as well which was good. My friend has been raving about this place and he is right, the pizza is so good. I've been a big fan of Sicilian style pizza since I was a child, and this is the best I've had, the crust is buttery and crispy and the dough inside is soft. I also really enjoyed the garlic parmesan wings! I like wet greasy wings and try garlic parmesan at many different restaurants, but usually I am put off by something, I'm not sure, but I think it's cheap oil or butter, but not this place! The wings are just savory and tasty. The chicken wings have a good amount of meat and don't taste dried out. I can't complain, this place is very good. The pizza slices are worth $2.60 because they are very wide. It will take a while to finish the slice and that's exactly how I like to eat pizza. Dominos and Pizza Hut have the super small pieces to where you can finish a whole box of pizza very quickly. I got 2 slices and was pretty much full. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought it wasn't really worth it. The cherry on top is that it cooks FAST! No having to sit around for 5 mins waiting for pizza. My favorite part about the pizza was that it had a crunch! The crust was soft but when you bite into the pizza you hear that crunch. I really loved that. Next time I'll update the review regarding the cheese and sauce. It was very good though. read more

The missing star is for the CASH ONLY part. The do have a nearby Atm, but sometimes, I don't really have enough to pull out of the Atm. I realize that I probably shouldn't be spending the last of my monies on pizza, but hey, I know I'm not the only one. So most places that I go to where they sell by the slice only have cheese, pepperoni, or supreme ready. Not Bonello's. They have mushroom! My all time if-I-could-only-pick-one favorite pizza topping. The pizza slices are NY style so they are large in size, but the dough is thin as paper. I typically get the pepperoni or mushroom pizza. The salad that they have is also pretty refreshing. They have a small outdoor seating area and they also have an ATM machine. Parking is located in the back or on the street. We've been coming here for over 20 years and Ben always treated us beautifully as does the new owner. My only complaint is that the new staff doesn't use enough meat in the Torpedo sandwich.
