Honestly this was a bad experience for a first time customer. I had to wait 2 hours because the server lost the ticket to our order, and she didn't realize and notify us until we were waiting for 50mins and all they offered on the house was an appetizer and to top it off not did she only try to charge us for extra stuff we didn't order but she kept sitting in the booth in front of us to chit chat with some other people sitting there. Got the salad and a deep dish. It was was good, but definitely not my favorite out of all the deep dish choices.

Great Chicago deep dish pizza! The Greek salad was outstanding. We were there to celebrate my son' s graduation from the Navy Boot Camp as were many the others It was unfortunate that the Sailors who were so excited to come to Giordano were among the few Sailors who were not acknowledged by the restaurant . Other Sailors who eat elsewhere reported having been given a free meal or some sort of discount and a warm greeting from the manager. A little token of appreciation for our men and women in uniform would have made the experience so much better. read more

giordano's is famous for chicago style stuffed pizza!! i have been wanting to try it for as long as i can remember because i love pizza! i ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom and olive and it ended up being $30!! talk about pricey! but when you feel the weight of this thing, you know you won't be doing much for the rest of the night.. i could only eat one slice of pizza. it was really cheesy and saucey.. the sauce is on top of the pizza and you have to eat it with a fork! definitely something you have to try when you visit chi-town and if you are a pizza lover! read more

Dined at the Gurnee location after a day at Six Flags. Very rude server , clearly she didn't want to serve a family of five with three young kids. No refills, no offer to serve a second beer, we had to ask for everything, including removing dirty plates. I shared my concerns on their Website and no reply, obviously nobody checks this, or they just don't care. Normally I wouldn't even share this information, but what the heck, you gotta love social media. Perhaps the folks at Giordanos should monitor this or slowly go out of business. The pizza was just okay. We ordered delivery at our hotel while visiting. The pizza was not hot upon delivery. We had to microwave it before eating it. We also ordered cannoli which were also just okay. There was nothing about the food that stood out as fabulous. First off, I didn't know it was the seater sitting in the host station. I thought he was a customer waiting to be seated since several people were waiting for a table. For about 3 minutes my husband and I were discussing where the host could be. So this young man in the host station had his head down, hunched over at his knees, and very involved with his phone suddenly asks if he could help us. Startled I asked him if he really works here. Yes, the host was so involved with his phone he had no clue that people were waiting for a table. How does an employer allow employees to use their phones while working. Then our table of 9 is giving our order and the server wrote nothing down and trusted our order to his memory. Guess what, he forgot my order. My meal was comped after all. Drinks? One of us got a refill. The rest of us rationed the pitcher of ice tea for two of us and passed the pitcher. The whole meal came out piece by piece. Such horrible service. But, the food was good. We won't be back. This location needs to hire better employees to go with the good food they serve. read more

I ordered a stuffed crust. It was take-out. The pizza was 80% cheese 15% sauce & meat and 5% crust. It was terrible. The crust stuck to the cardboard piece that the pizza lays on. It tasted okay, but the cheese was overwhelming. The Buffalo Grove location has much better quality. Nex time it's Lou Malnati's for me. read more

Horrible customer relations. Called to place an order for pick up. The girl answered the phone by saying half a word that sounded like she was gonna say Gurnee, but put me on hold before she even got that word out. I was on hold for almost 3 minutes after that. When she finally came back, she didn't apologize for any wait and seemed to have an attitude. I picked up the pizza and got similiar rude treatment from the girl at the counter. I think it was the same girl, otherwise there's two incredibly rude people working there on a Saturday afternoon. The server name on the ticket reads Christine. They should really teach her how to treat customers the right way. I enjoy Giordano'a pizza, but I can easily go to Lou Malnatis. read more

Terrible place they always messed up my order. I gave that place and opportunity and ordered from there few times not a single time they bring the order correct either no dressing for salad, paid for extra cheese and no cheese, paid for chicken no chicken. In town for a visit and always wanted to try Chicago's famous deep dish pizzas. We found this guy only 5-10 minutes from our hotel and ordered a large pepperoni, green pepper, onion and mushroom deep dish pizza with a chicken Caesar salad Togo. The pizza was like a double decker pizza. Definitely has my thumbs up. read more

Unlike my great review for the Rosemont location, my first and only visit here was not as pleasant. The food was equally as great as any of their other locations. However, service was a bit slow. I was in a bit of a hurry after we had finished and wanted to go ASAP, but after 10 minutes or so I went to the front to pay. I was told I had to wait for the server. After waiting another five minutes I had waited long enough and told them either to take my payment or I was leaving....of course they took it. read more

Consistently good food at a reasonable price! I've tried the deep dish pizza as well as thin crust and all have been tasty. A nice selection of salads are offered and each that I've tried has been unique and quite good with fresh ingredients and light dressings. If ordering pizza, you might want to call in your order as the wait can get a bit long due to the cooking time. The staff are attentive and friendly! Great restaurant in the Gurnee area!! read more

One of the worst food experiences I've ever had in my life. I called ahead to place an order for dine in so when I got there I could eat, the person on the phone was ever so rude took our order told us for seating first come first serve which makes sense but he hung up on us after he told us that. We go there to eat and got seating , got our food and enjoyed it! It then took forever for us to get the bill but we got it like 20 min after eating. We paid the bill and left. About 20 min after leaving we get a call from the same guy who took our order threatening us that we didn't pay the correct amount on the bill after counting our money(we split the bill). We went back because we are nice and wanted to let them know we DID pay the right amount of money and asked for the manager and told the worker make sure it's not the person taking phone orders. The worker grabs the manager who is the one working on phones. The manager then shows us how much we paid for but it wasn't the amount we left. There was change included in the amount that he had and there wasn't any change left on the table. Pretty much if you do go there be-careful of the workers and manager they will claim that you haven't paid the full bill to get money off of you. Great pizza horrible service. read more

Terrible waiter!!! Had a coupon for free appetizer from signing up for their email program but he refused to honor because it was on my phone and not printed. Really??? Its a tourist town surrounded with hotel/travelers who probably dont carry portable printers to six flags or keylime cove... Nice rip-off scheme to get ya in though! read more

The three of us had a thin crust Pete Rose "special" pizza on 11-22-13 in OakBrook, IL. Ordered sausage,peppers and mushrooms. The pizza was very disappointing, crust had no flavor, sausage look like bad dog food, the peppers were shaved very,very thin and looked like they were counted on the top, could not see very many mushrooms. No flavor what so ever. We all agreeed this was the worst pizza we ever had in a restraunt, a frozen pizza is much better. Also, ordered the wings as appetizer the sauce was okay but the actual wing was very very small. This place is over rated. read more
