Nope , wouldn't recommend , this location , and have dined here on several occasions , thinking it was a bad night for the kitchen . I have commented with the wait staff concerns of sparse cheese on the pizza , to the toppings , even the ice tea drink is watered down , and the Large pizza presented looks like a Medium . To offset this review the wait staff has always been up to par. In the past I have heard other customers sitting in my area complain of the same concerns. I would recommend if in the area , go to the Orland Park Giordano's ( as a note I ship the pizzas from the Orland Park location Nationwide ) or find any Downtown Chicago locations . The Mokena location in my experience has not meet up to the Giordano's Business Model. read more

Ordered a large deep dish pizza online for Saturday to be ready at 6:40 pm. Ordered the pizza at approximately 3:30.Pizza was suppose to be half sausage and half spinach. Pizza ended up being all sausage and all spinach which upset some of our guests that did not want sausage. In addition the pizza was not ready until 6:50 PM. Then they almost gave my pizza to someone else as they called out her name and manager took it away from her and gave it to me. I had asked for plates, cheese, and red pepper and did not receive any. Instead in the bag was a bowl of marinara sauce! Manager said that they do not guarantee times except that they will be within 10 minutes of time promised. Having ordered the pizza 3 hours before though I expected it to be ready on time or a little early. They were very busy and very disorganized. Several other people were also waiting for pizzas and one gentleman had ordered deep dish and they made him a thin crust. read more

When I want deep-dish, I look no further than Giordano's, and not just because they're a minute away, either. The reason I choose them is consistency! I have never had a bad, or even "off their game" pizza from them. Some places are a roll of the dice, but where I'm concerned, when it comes to pizza, variety (consistency-wise) is not the spice of life. I like to know that I'm getting the same pie I got last time and that's what they provide: A delicious pizza, with no deviation. The Mokena location is also very nice, aesthetically and the staff is quite friendly and attentive. Will be back soon! read more

Thin crust is not thin at all. Thick spongy chewy crust with sparse sausage on top. Don't pass Aurelio's in Frankfort to eat pizza here.

My aunt's threw me a baby shower here. The facility beautiful, nice, and clean. It was so nice to eat gluten-free pizza. I wish they would have had some gluten-free pasta choices too. Also, I think they should have just given us a waitress for our own instead we had to track her down sometimes but she did good. Food was okay yet bland. My husband's deep dish pizza was burnt and he said it was flavorless. My mom's pasta was bland as well. Then we had a mix up with the waitress and the manager. Since it was pouring down rain we had asked the manager to take the gifts out through a side door and this family was complaining it was cold to the waitress. So the waitress came up and closed the door with my husband out in the rain! My husband had to explain to her that we had already gotten the manager's permission. And my husband just had knee surgery and I'm 38 weeks pregnant. I understand the family was cold at this table but seriously they could be a little bit more understanding and the waitress didn't need to leave my husband out in the freezing rain. The door was only proped open with a chair. I'm very thankful to my aunts for choosing a classy place. Overall it was okay and my family made it a great experience but I don't think I would want a party here again. The whole thing kind of ruined my special day. read more

I ordered my pizza online, with an estimated delivery time of 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes. At 90 minutes I called to see when I might get my pizzas, and was told they were running behind and it would be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called again and after asking was left on hold for 10 minutes before the delivery guy called and said he was 7 minutes away. 2.5 hours later, I get my pizzas. Still hot but really burnt. Almost inedible. I would have called to complain, but could not wait another 2.5 hours for dinner. This is my last order from Giordano's Mokena, IL read more

Pizza took much longer than the 45 minutes and when it came out it wasn't even the correct pizza. It was missing ingredients we had asked for and they added meat (which I do not eat.) Our waitress was not attentive to us whatsoever and had no explanation as to why the pizza was wrong. Manager did take care of the bill, which is expected but overall the experience was not good. We didn't actually get to eat or drink anything. Arrived at 4.50pm. No-one was available to seat us so we seated ourselves. Finally placed drink and food orders and waited another 15 minutes before we walked out at 5.20pm. When we walked out, no one even noticed despite me hanging around for 5 minutes at the front desk! It is by far the most terrible service that I have ever had the misfortune to experience in the united states. Very disappointed as this place is as great just a few months ago. read more

WE brought guests from out of town who wanted deep dish pizza. We had an appetizer plate which was tasty and held us over until the pizza came. The deep dish was delicious as usual, perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding. The manager came over and chatted with us. Our guests loved the food and the friendliness of the staff. It was the food highlight of their trip. read more

Went to the store on Lincoln Hwy in Mokena on Sat sept 21. Waited an hour for our deep dish pizza without a word from our waitress. After asking her, waited another 5 minutes before the manager came to us, said our order had gotten "lost", then offered to comp our meal. After another 15 min we finally got the pizza. It was rushed, so the crust was not right and it was not as hot throughout as it should have been. Never a word of apology from the waitress. Kudos to the manager for comping our meal, but a pretty bad experience. I would stick with the Orland Park store in the future. read more

Pretty good pizza and apps. I must admit, living in or near Chicago, the 'deep dish' scene is quite competitive. Giordano's seems to hang with the best but may not be the gold winner here. Definitely a silver though. The crust is decent and the sauce is very good! I like the 'sauce-to-cheese' ratio! Atmosphere is a little quitter than the traditional pizza joints in Chicago and it does seem better suited to a family outing than most places like this. Good menu outside of pizza as well. read more

I'm used to horrible service in Nee Lenox but when the brain trust can't handle a phone in pickup request, it's sad. When you then arrive and have to make a to go order and they decide what o make it a dine in, it's ridiculous. HORRIBLE Experience! Went on a Friday night around 5:00pm to avoid any weekend crowd. In fact we were the first people in the restaurant. We ordered our pizza and drinks and asked that my daughter's kid's pizza come out as soon as it was ready so she could eat. 45 minutes later we had to ask another waitress to find our waitress. When we asked about our food, we were told there was a Delivery backlog and there was going to be an additional wait because they had to get the take out orders out first! We asked about the kids pizza and our waitress actually shrugged her shoulders and said she wasn't sure why it had not come out! She immediately comes back to our table with our pizza and it is COLD! We ask to see a manager and he basically stares at us and tells us the only thing he could do is heat up our pizza again. They brought it out still cold and undercooked and never came back to ask us about our service. Really bad food and terrible service from our waitress and management! It's a shame. So, naturally, my daughter asks for "puhsketti" (spaghetti) and meatballs while we're on-the-go and looking for something quick to take home. I rack my brain and think of Giordano's, call them up, and regret this decision as soon as she tells me I can pick up the food in 30 minutes. OF COURSE my toddler passes out as soon as I place the order, since she decided to skip her nap, so now I'm left with a snoring kid and a 30-minute wait for food she isn't even going to eat! I drive on over, which takes less than 5 minutes, and drag sleeping beauty inside. Much to my surprise, the girl at the counter tells me that she's going to go check on my order and comes back saying it will only be another THREE MINUTES! She even offered to bring my dinner out to my car so I could sit in there with my daughter. Just as she said, the food was ready a few minutes later and I was on my way, bag in one hand and my daughter still snoring in the other. Just as I predicted, my daughter didn't touch any of her food, but I enjoyed a few bites after taking down my chicken park sandwich. Food was great, service even better! read more

We have been to this store several times over the last couple of years and have mostly enjoyed the visits. Tonight, however, we had an awful experience. Ordered stuffed pizza, and as my wife was working on her piece she was greeted with a horribly rotten piece of broccoli. This wasn't the problem. The manager came to our table and my wife explained the problem pointing out the offending (brown) broccoli. Rather than offering a heartfelt apology for the mishap (hey, it happens), or offering to immediately replace our pizza, the manager proceeded to use our spatula to search our pizza for more bad veggies at our table! Once she appeared to get over her reluctance to offer us a replacement pizza, and our hesitation to risk it on more bad veggies, we asked for a pepperoni replacement. She proceeds to inform us that they are OUT OF PEPPERONI on a Sunday evening at 6pm! Short of me offering to run to the nearest supermarket to buy them some, we took it as a sign and promptly departed. There are too many other Giordano's stores and countless other pizza choices for this manager to not have quickly and apologetically resolved the issue. It is highly unlikely that we will return! read more
