I went here for happy hour. The service and food was 5 star! The wings were cooked perfectly, they actually had meat on them and not overly sauced. The "slice" of pizza was huge! For $.50 more you could add toppings. I added Canadian bacon and pineapple! Generous amount of toppings. The pizza was perfect. Not overcooked,greasy or too much crust. My teen daughter is on vacation in the area with another family and we were looking for gluten free options. Called numerous times a little after 3pm and no luck getting through on the phone lines so she decide to just go down. My daughter asked about gf options and was told the pizza is put directly into the oven. When asked if it could be placed on a tray, to cut down on the cross contamination, she was told "we are too busy to put parchment paper down for you". There was literally only a few other customers in the restaurant at the time. The worker then proceeded to tell my daughter "her ex boyfriend had celiac disease and pizza places are the worst to go to. But let chefs know you have celiac and they will stop what they are doing and listen" But yet they couldn't get a 3cent piece of parchment paper or take 30 seconds longer to throw it on a tray. My daughter ended up leaving without ordering. I tried to call to speak to someone regarding this and there is no manager or owner on site. I am very disappointed to hear a business would treat a customer like this. read more

This is some of the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! There are so many delicious menu items-don't know how they do it for such a small out of the way spot. OK, this is a hidden gem! We headed out to Glenshire from Truckee based on Yelp recommendations and were not disappointed. First of all, The pizza was amazing. We ordered the Castle Peak (pesto, sausage, mushrooms, artichokes...) to go along with a house salad and it was all delicious. Next time we are eating there- Peter was upbeat, friendly, and engaging- makes you want to come back. They can accommodate large and small groups with ease and this is clearly a place where locals come to eat and drink. They have an an outside seating area with corn hole game which is awesome for families and kids. If you are in Truckee, it is just a hop skip and a jump away, don't feel like it's too far to go to get an awesome meal. We are definitely going back! read more

Take-out Review: i feel like this place was overally priced. We ordered 4 boxes of pizza (2 combo, 1 Hawaiian, and 1 Amigos). The combo wasn't really a combo. I felt like all I had on the combo was a mushroom and bell pepper pizza. The Hawaiian pizza was mediocre. There were hardly any pineapples spread throughout the pizza. The 3 amigos pizza literally had half a jalepeno diced up and spread across it. I dont recommend nor would I come back. read more

I love walking or riding a bike hhere via Legacy trail. Can sit on porch and eat with nice views. Love love the greek salad. It's big but after the long walk I can eat it all. Drove from downtown Truckee to relax at this little gem. Take a seat on the patio and enjoy all that Glenshire has to offer. This screams family and good times with friends. The service was a little scattered but they did their best to keep up with a packed house. The pizza is wonderful the crust makes it we had a sausage and mushroom nothing fancy just a nice chewy crust but also crisp and good sauce that paired with a crisp Amber beer made an end to a great day. Our group of friends was staying in an air B&B near by and ordered from here one night. The pizza was really good it was definitely a place I would visit again. I'm once again disappointed by the logistics and customer service of this place. I love the idea of having a pizza place in our little neighborhood but rarely are they able to serve in a reasonable time period. Ordering in person and waiting at the bar is the best option. Pickup is simply impossible, and they make you feel like it's your fault they are an hour behind. Most recently I ordered online two hrs ahead to ensure my order would be ready, when I arrived they hadn't even started it and would be at least another 30mins. I get being busy, but they are always like this. Unacceptable. This is much less convenient than driving the extra minutes to village or Zanos. I don't know why I keep trying. It's like every night is their first night being open, what a shame. read more

Stopped by after scenic drive in the Sierras. This local place is a few miles outside of the downtown area and is well worth getting away from the tourist area to have some great Pizza. Ted the owner is an awesome laid back guy and very friendly staff. We had the Castle Peak pizza, pesto, artichoke, sun dried tomatoes and sausage. Delicious! They make their own pesto and sausage.
