We ordered by phone for pick up, and after waiting 45 minutes and driving 20 minutes to the restaurant, we found that they had never submitted our order. This place is great! We ordered 2 pizzas and both were terrific. Friendly service & delicious pizza with quality fresh ingredients - that's all you need from a pizza place and these guys came through. This is easily the best I've had in the area. And they have real parmesan! not the gross packets of yellow parmesan like most chains use. You will not be disappointed in Glenshire Pizza Company, I highly recommend them. Very disappointing. We were told 40-45 minute wait for a pizza (seemed long) but after 45 minutes they hadn't even started on our pizza. It took an hour and 15 minutes and never got any sort of apology for the delay. When we got the pizza it was clearly undercooked. We are hoping this review will help the business and its customers. Last night we paid $43 for an 18 inch Margarita pizza & buffalo wings. We arrived three minutes prior to the appointed time of pickup and live less than a mile away. At the dinner table, we opened the box and noticed the cheese had slid to only one side of the pizza and that tomatoes and basil were missing. Our family of three each took 2 slices, took a few bites, and noticed the temperature luke warm/cold at best. We shook off the experience due to COVID, but the pizza was so bad and so cold as were the wings, we decided to call, so the manager could provide some guidance to the team. The person who answered the phone was very nice when I explained the situation and asked to speak with the manager. She placed me on hold and came back with the manager is not available to speak and that she could take a number and he hopefully would return the call, but possibly the next day. I said, no, we really need to resolve this. The food was cold and the key toppings were missing and the extra side of ranch we paid for was not included either. She understood our concern and again place us on hold. She came back with, sorry, he says there is not much we can do aside from your family gathering up the remaining pizza and bringing it in so they could sprinkle some basil on it. She informed us that the manager said Margarita pizza calls for tomato sauce, not diced or sliced tomatoes, even though the online order information affirmed the toppings as we expected them. We are a patient and understanding family who is empathetic in these hard times. The experience is the worst we've had ever and we will not return. But we are not saying customers should avoid this business. Our advice to future customers is: in these times of COVID, don't use online ordering services, call instead, and question everything which you would expect to be provided: ingredients, temperature, satisfaction guarantee etc. To the manager we recommend not suggesting unrealistic solutions. A simple one minute of your time on the phone, a little empathy, and perhaps an offer of a discount on our next order would have sufficed. Very sorry to all involved. read more

Delicious pizzas - both regular and gluten free crusts yummy with lots of choices for toppings. My daughter's kid marinara pasta and corn dog was really good. And chocolate mouse and berry cobbler desserts so good! Phone app order was easy and they offered curbside pick up. Wow. Excellent crust. Excellent toppings. Well worth the drive from Northstar. We had a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and Caesar salad. We brought it home, and reheated slices in a preheated 425degree oven until the crust was crunchy, and the cheese bubbling. Oh wow. Only downside is that a 25-minute estimate for a pie took 42 minutes to actually appear, but that was fine because the friendly staff makes up for it. The pies are hand-tossed which does make a difference. Generous cheese application and the same for the pepperoni topping. A hidden gem is their wedge salad with red onion slices, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes and lots of bacon bits. Ate there for the first time. The day before New Year's Eve and the small restaurant was packed. Pete got us 2 seats at the bar where there was only one stool he brought over a second one. We watched the kitchen staff, wait staff and Pete juggle phone orders, people picking up orders and customers waiting. Everyone was met with a smile and a warning that wait times were running over an hour. We got our order in and our wait time was only 30mins for our 2 pizzas. I had the GF pizza and it was the best I have had in the Truckee area yet! Love this Pizza Place! Always busy inside! We've ordered to go on a handful of different occasions now and each time the food has been delicious! We've never had any issues with our order taking forever or nobody calling us for "our order is ready" call. When we pick up our food is hot and ready to go. We've tried other pizza places in the Truckee area and they cant compare to the Pizza here! REALLY good crust! It can be a little pricey but they have options like ORGANIC Wings (you have to pay the cost for healthy GOOD food). They have daily specials like a specialty pizza and desert options. Love the zuchinni sticks (my favorite). Only complaint I have is its sometimes hard to get through on the phone but thats not a bad thing! It means Glenshire Pizza Co is busy! read more

We ordered pick up. Got home and noticed they had not given us part of our order. After round two to their store we sit down and find out the pizza burnt! I call them again... And on my third time on hold they tell me rudely there is nothing they will do. So I'm going to eat my cold burnt pizza and let it sit so I remember to never eat their food again. I really like the pizza. Great crust, generous toppings. It is especially nice that it rewarms well. However I had a poor experience with service which seriously has me questioning whether I will ever be their customer again. I had a handful of hungry people so I ordered a pizza, waited 15 minutes, then followed up with a confirmation phone call to make certain my order was placed to the kitchen (I read on Facebook that this was a problem). One hour and fifteen minutes later my pizza was still not ready. Wednesday night at 6:30 pm, 2 cars in the parking lot, 4 people in the restaurant. I mentioned that I had been waiting for more than an hour and the owner Pam told me I was wrong. That I hadn't been waiting an hour. ( I have the phone records to prove it ). So what I got was a slow pizza and an owner who had Absolutely No Interest in my customer service satisfaction. The whole episode made me feel like I had been doused in dogpoop. I don't deserve that. It is okay to mess up sometimes but you have to at least be willing to listen when something is brought to your attention. read more

The food tastes good once you get it. That said it took over 1.5hrs for a to go order to get made. They estimated 45 mins. I showed up after 1 hour and was sent home. Came back after they called me to say it was ready at about 1.5 hrs. I stood at pick up counter for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Took the pizza home to our group of 14 and the pizzas were not hot. Kind of a bummer. The staff kept saying how online orders get prioritized ahead of call in orders... So if you decide to order from them, use their online site and you probably will get your pizza sooner. read more
