Absolutely unacceptable experience. I attempted to purchase a beer on a Saturday afternoon and was completely disrespected by a young over weight young employee with curly hair. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he called me a "mother fucker you piece of shit" and aggressively told me to go get my ID. Lucky I didn't bet his ass, but I'm a change man. I've lived in this area for over 30 years and have never been treated like this anywhere. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior, especially toward a paying customer. This reflects extremely poorly on management and training. This incident needs to be escalated to corporate immediately. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless they want to be disrespected. Don't go here! Place is also disgusting. read more

Major scam going on here !!! Been coming here for 3 years . Never had a problem until yesterday . I came in and paid for gas and the cashier put my gas on the wrong pump . When my pump wasn't working I went back inside and she acknowledged she it on the wrong pump . She watched the other car fill up and did nothing . When I brought it to her attention , she said there is nothing she can do . I'm out $30. I called the manager this morning and told her all she has to do is pull the cameras and she and it will clearly show the error was on their end . When I asked who the owners are , she refused to provide me that information. Sounds like she's aware of the scam to me, if not why didn't she pull the cameras . This place is right near Home Depot and is in a pretty raggedy area. They have some homeless people here and also they have some people looking for work that gather around this general area. So be careful. The store inside was pretty good and they had a very friendly person behind the counter. The prices are decent. Lower than most places. read more

I come to this gas station all the time but today marks a day that I will never come back here again. I try to walk in and but the door is lock and it says to wait for the next shift change at 10:10 pm, I'm standing at the door at 9:30pm. That's 40 minutes of denied service to customers. 40 minutes of denied sales for no good reason. So if you need gas from 9pm - 10:10pm, go up the street 1/8 of a mile to a USA gas or Shell for a cheaper price and 24hr service. read more

Worst attendants around. Lack of service, dirty, pumps broken most of the time. Recently went in and while they are helping you they don't even look at you. While I bought something I asked for the restroom and they quickly said it was out of order. I commented where they employees went and they responded by saying "it's private property". These guys are the best. I rented a uhaul from here this past week and accidentally forgot a couple pieces of marble. I called the next day and talked to James. You could tell he was really busy but he still took the time out to help me out and check the truck. Unfortunately it was not there and I thought that was the end of it. He called me back a few minutes later but I didn't have service so he left me a message saying he talked to his manager and he knows where my marble is and I could pick it up the next day! I didn't call back because I felt like I had taken up enough of his time but he actually called me a second time to make sure I got his voicemail! This convenience store/gas station doesn't believe in preventive maintenance or stock replenishment. You could easily waste 7-8 minutes of your life to stop here to get gas. Premium, regular, diesel? Don't rely on it. Do you like Monster Energy but are in a hurry to get to work? Well, don't rely on this store. Do you like soda? Don't rely on ice because the employees don't refill the ice machine until it's empty, then you have to wait for them to walk, leisurely, to get ice, then climb a step ladder, remove lid and pour the ice in. "But wait! There's more". Were you looking forward to some soda with ice? Well, if you're lucky enough to get some ice, you'll be disappointed that A) They're out of your soda, B) They're out of Co2 so the soda is flat C) They're out of lids, D) They're out of cups, E) (The current situation as of 02/09/21) they don't clean the fountain nozzles for DAYS at a time, so the soda sprays all over the place. But there is an upside! If you like tattoo people, homeless people, employees who reek of cigarettes or people who begin every statement with, "Uhhhhh", this will be heaven for you. I get it, it's Pomona- Lower your expectations and you'll live a happy life. So I guess the trade off is saving a few cents? Charge me the extra few cents, I prefer performance over 'CHEAP'. read more

I'm just leaving a review because my friend ran out of gas about a block from here. The employee was super nice and tried to help us get the gas into the portable tank that we had to buy. I will say that the area is a little sketch. There was a homeless guy in the front of the business who kept hitting on me. BEWARE! Noticed as we passed on our way to USA gas that it was 20 cents cheaper than USA! Made a u turn and got gas. Thankful there was no 35 cent fee like some stations. No higher credit card price either. UNTIL WE GOT THE BANK STATEMENT! Not only was the gas 20 cents higher (no sign anywhere saying cc price was higher)per gallon PLUS there was a one dollar fee for using the credit card! So stupid! Ticked me off! CHEATERS! read more

After a family member had an accident nearby, we needed a couple of large garbage bags immediately. I entered the mini-mart only to find out they do not sell what we needed. The young man behind the counter was kind enough to give us 2 large plastic bags of their own and truly saved the day! Although we did no other transactions, I want to commend and thank Globe Oil for helping us in a time of need! had stopped here in am emergency. my father is diabetic and has a very hard time holding his bladder. we stopped in and the lady at the register refused to let him use the restroom unless he bought gas. he even offered to simply purchase an item just to use the restroom. again she said no. I was forced to buy gas just so he could use the bathroom . and still she sat there waiting and watching till I parked at a pump and refused to give him the key to the restroom. the entire time she was singing and rolling her eyes as though we were an inconvenience to her. once I bought a gallon. she gave him the key. he couldn't get the door open and he told her and all she said was "it opens" he tried again and told her it wouldn't open. she again replied "it'll open" finally after fighting the door he got in. absolutely horrible employee, rude, and frankly is a few more vulgar choice phrases. it's not as though we were asking for anything for free and even offered to buy something that would have been more than the gallon of gas. it was an emergency and she didn't give a crap. terrible place and even worse employee read more

Always out of diesel, always out of gas. Come in, sometimes there is a sign saying no diesel, other times you wait endlessly at the pump waiting for it to dispense fuel but you realize they're just out again. You literally exist for one thing, and that is to sell fuel an you fail miserably at it. read more
