Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling replied to my inquiry within minutes. I received quotes from three companies and Arlington Plumbing's quote was competitive. I was sold by Arlington Plumbing's promptness to my request and their professionalism on the phone. It was 9am, and I was told I would have hot water by the end of the day. Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling delivered. I was given an estimate of the time they could do the work and over the course of the day I was contacted a number of times via phone that they were on track. Arlington Plumbing arrived at the agreed upon time, did the work with a professional manner, they did a great job of cleaning up, and I had hot water before my spouse arrived home from work. My spouse thought I was a hero, but it was really Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling that was the hero. Thank you. I will definitely use this company again when I have my next plumbing issue. They always promptly schedule my service appointments and communicate with me the day of to ensure expectations regarding timing are set. I always have the sense that they are looking out for me by providing feedback, offering suggestions, making any ask that I have a reality (i.e. finding an electrician to help install a new steam humidifier) and not pushing anything on me. Another company tempted me away from them as part of a membership package and failed miserably (i.e. 2.5+ months of waiting for an appointment, a prior day appointment cancellation by them and at least another month wait for the next available date). Promptly at 8 am this morning I called CARES to schedule my HVAC inspection. It was such a pleasure to speak to the staffing lady who so graciously offered me an appointment of TODAY. Wow! Such a treat! The team showed up a little earlier than planned with a pre-notification and quickly and efficiently made short work of my inspection. To top it off, their rates have not changed in 3+ years and was approximately 40% less than the other company's preferred membership rate. I called several other AC repair places and it seemed like they wanted to come in and rip me off and do a bunch of things that weren't necessary, even after I told them the code they ignored me and told me what they thought a really expensive problem was. But with Connor Air, Both the technician on phone and the one who came out to site were very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Feels like they do things the right way. But Air Control has never been like that, I have always felt that they charge me an great price for whatever issue I am having with my units. The owner, Fred, is the friendliest person I have met in NoVA and bends over backwards to meet your HVAC needs. Fred has done so much maintenance on two of my units that they run like new. We're in the process of having to replace my oldest unit, which is about 20 years old, and he has been very helpful and resourceful on how he will replace them, what he will replace them with, as well as everything you need to know when upgrading to a modern system. Another company is coming today to do the repairs that ME Flow hasn't and won't follow through on. Save yourself the time, money, and discomfort of an unrepaired HVAC system. We've been a month without any HVAC because this company has no business management skills or follow through. Calling a customer back isn't a heavy lift.
