BEWARE THE FINE PRINT AND YOUR VALUABLES!!! QuikResponse called in GM Property Care to move my items while they were handling catastrophic water damage. The pack out team was courteous, helpful and took care of my belongings. However, due to an accident while unpacking they broke $2000 of heirloom antique dishes. Giavanna refused to take responsibility, pointed out that I had signed paperwork saying my insurance was responsible for any damages and immediately put a 17% daily interest rate on my bill until I paid it (which in the end they didn't enforce when I got my insurance adjuster involved - thank God for USAA). She was right - I did sign the paperwork and I was screwed by their packer's mishandling of my goods. The packers were trying their best, the management is terrible - just beware and don't trust them to act honorably. I normally would not have had movers do this but I was overwhelmed by the $190,000 of damage to my home due to the dishwasher failure and didn't have the time to pack out my valuable. We had to have our downstairs furniture taken out to put in new floors after a pipe leak. We were very impressed by how carefully and efficiently the team worked together. We also were impressed by how polite and friendly everyone was. After everything was back in place we discovered that there was a buzzing sound when we put the stereo on. Today George came out from GM and worked on it for three hours! With patience and persistence he finally was able to get all three sets of speakers working without static. He didn't give up until he had it all working right. I can't recommend them enough! read more

This company broke a lot of my stuff and a lot of it was not even returned. They had the audacity to send me $100 and they destroyed about $1000. I would suggest you stay in and watch those guys because I'm missing a lot of things. Evidently, the people who gave the five stars stayed in the home as it was being packed. Our apartment flooded due to an adjacent apartments fire sprinkler being set off so we immediately called Mike at GM Property Solutions. Best decision ever! Mike was prompt to respond and his team packed up our entire apartment within hours. Great communication the entire time, very respectful. Close attention to detail when packing fragile items - lots of bubble wrap, tape, padding, etc. All boxes were clearly labeled so it made unpacking that much easier. A neighbors pipe leaked and caused extensive damage to my condo. I had to clear out all the contents of my condo. I was referred to GM Property Care Solutions by the restoration company I was using. Mike got in touch with me right away and came out to my place to give me the basics on their services. He took several pictures of my belongings to document their location so his crew could return them to their exact locations. We then scheduled the date and time for GM to pack up everything. I was not home when the pack up was completed. The construction and repair due to the water damage took a few months. The whole while, Mike and Givanna were in constant contact with me and the insurance adjuster. Once the work was complete I contacted them and all my belongings were returned. A night stand suffered some small damage during transit but they were able to fix it right away and the repair is not noticeable.
