Had a great experience at Gob Chang! The food came out fresh and flavorful, and everything was cooked nicely. I really enjoyed the side dishes, especially the steamed egg and soup. The gobchang was tasty, chewy in a good way, and went well with the dipping sauces and vegetables. The portion was good for sharing, and the meal felt very satisfying.

Are you into exotic foods that might require you to acquire the taste of something? Well, if you like crispy intestines cooked on a cast iron grill, Gob Chang is worth the try. We had a restaurant that we liked to frequent at closer to home, but they have recently closed down, so I've been in search of other places. The service was good, but language was a little bit of a barrier. We asked for the bean spouts to be separated and at first I didn't think he understood, but at the end all the vegetables were separated which was better than including the bean spouts. The intestines was good, but I would have preferred them to be crispier, but he put out the flames early. We ordered an a La carte order of the pork belly, which was very good. I loved the thickness of the cuts. Definitely worth a return trip.

I'd been craving intestines, so I did a quick Yelp search and found this spot. It reminded me of a traditional Korean sidewalk pub: small, cozy, with about 6 to 7 tables. We ordered the Medium 3 Combo meal, which included small intestine, large intestine, and tripe, and it came with steamed egg and either soup/kimchi on the side. Ordered rice to go with it which was perfect but I do wish they had hot barley tea. The gentleman came out and torched the meat for a few mins, then left them to continue grilling on the cast iron plate with gel fuel. Everything was delicious! The meal came to about $100 with tip, but I'd say it was well worth it and will for sure come back here!

If you're a fan of daechang and gopchang then this place is definitely the rice place for you. They have a 3 combo meal that comes with a combo of small intestine, large intestine or tripe and all three are absolutely amazing. They also have steamed egg and a choice of either kimchi soup or soybean soup. The service was amazing as well. The owner was extremely kind and made sure that we were always taken care of and you can just tell that he has a passion for making the best Korean food in the area. The restaurant is nice and it's just a has a traditional Korean vibe to it. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place!

Came here to celebrate my sister early birthday. Ordered a few things from the menu. Ordered a small intestine combo as well as the pork belly. The combo came with the soup as well as the egg. The egg was so good with the cheese on top. 10/10 The kimchi soup wasn't really our favorite, and it's kinda spicy. 4/10 The small intestine was really fire. Goes really well with their sauce. 10/10 We also ordered the pork belly ( no pic). Was pretty tasty and with some bomb kimchi with it. 10/10 The waiters who were working were very nice and joke around with us. Overall would recommend this place if you are looking for a place for some intestine. It is a little bit on the pricey side.

Gob Chang is a hidden Korean restaurant gem in a small Buena Park plaza. With spacious parking (though it can get crowded, street parking might be necessary), this cozy pocha-style spot serves quality meat with fast service. The owner takes pride in their meat quality, delivering an authentic dining experience. This place is my #1 Gop Chang place!!! Great for Gop Chang lovers, though it closes early for soju drinkers :(

Love coming here for their big intestines. Their medium is a good 2-3 people servings and there's alot of fresh Banchan. Service is always great. The owner is always attentive. I haven't been here in a year and Def hit the spot. The intestine always clean throughly which make it easier to enjoy. See you guys again soon :)

Walked in on a Saturday night - it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Choose 3 Combination (M), Kimchi Cold Noodle, and Beef Tartare. Service was fast and the staff were great! The Kimchi Cold Noodle was super refreshing and cuts the fattiness of the intestine. The beef tartare was also very fresh and a generous portion. There were only 2 of us so we had a lot of leftovers to take home haha. A solid gobchang spot!

They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Combined with the lively atmosphere and efficient service, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become such a popular destination. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. And their hands go inside everything. They grab the rinsed pitcher, scoop the tea water and serve it. Also mind you, the tea water is inside those huge trash cans. AND when they were transferring the ice (from again those trash bins) they would lift it to pour all the ice in to the tea water bin and you can see all the dirty drippings from the outside wheels drip inside the container.. @.@ No its not a one time thing with one employee...they all knew the drill and did it like routine. Me and my friends watched the whole thing while we were just trying to enjoy some drinks at the bar. It was so disgusting, my friends wanted to pay and leave quickly but NO theres no way im paying for the drink i only had a couple sips of and couldn't finish. So i told the manager, didnt pay and left. He was not shocked ... wonder why. And now im just telling all my close friends not to go here... digusting.

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

Not only was I completely stuffed by the end, but every course felt so thoughtfully selected that I left feeling truly nourished within my body and soul. We ordered the Premium Han-Jeongsik, which featured a non-stop parade of incredible small plates: porridge, salad, radish water kimchi, spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, braised short ribs, glass noodles with assorted vegetables, savory pancakes, seasonal scallops, and a rich kimchi stew. The dining experience felt wonderfully elegant as each course was brought out sequentially, allowing us to fully savor every unique flavor and texture. To top it off, they finished with my favorite sweet rice punch to cleanse the palate. While it certainly isn't cheap, this is definitely a "celebrate a special occasion or pretend you're royalty for an evening" kind of place. Lastly, the exceptional service makes every penny worth it. If you want to experience authentic, high-end Korean cuisine, look no further.
